21/12/2024: A simple place that reflects the poetry in which you immerse yourself upon entering the town; very simple but well looked after. Affable and attentive owner but above all very proud of his cuisine and that of Lucania: don't look for chips, ketchup and mayonnaise. All very good. Average prices. Only the dessert was not homemade....but otherwise I recommend it. In fact, we returned for lunch and the owner, recognizing us, treated us "differently"

Il proprietario ha rielaborato il suo menù soddisfacendo eccellentemente la mia richiesta di una cena vegetariana... sapori autentici, quelli delle tavole contadine di un tempo. Consigliatissimo a chi crede che la CUCINA DELLA TRADIZIONE sia ancora un PLUS.

05/01/2025: We came to eat in this typical Matera tavern and I must say that we really enjoyed it The owner immediately welcomed us with a smile and kindly let us sit with our two dogs. Typical menu with particular attention to cod I took the dish with cod and bran peppers. Very good!!! The appetizer with local cured meats and cheeses presented in an original way was also very good The still white wine was really excellent I recommend it

04/01/2025: Fearing the tourist restaurant, we looked for a while before deciding on this restaurant. At the table, Italians, and local specialties on the menu. Special mention for the bean puree with chicory. Rustic service, good wines, fairly reasonable prices. A good address

04/11/2024: Very welcoming typical restaurant in Trecchina near Maratea, we had the chestnut fettuccine with porcini mushrooms (excellent) and the Lanterna Verde pizza (exquisite) If you are in the area I absolutely recommend it

14/12/2024: We booked at this restaurant on our way back from Matera. Since it was the day of the Immaculate Conception, the menu was fixed but, although we didn't choose, it was all delicious. When we arrived they also offered us a children's menu for my son, which he really appreciated. Attentive and kind staff. Service was a little slow but the place was really full. We will definitely be back to try the pizza (very good!!!) that was present in the starter. Highly recommended for the five of us.

02/12/2024: *La Pannocchia* is a place immersed in the countryside, a true corner of tranquility. The welcome is warm and the service is excellent, with the staff always ready to satisfy customers' every need. The dishes are super abundant, from starters to main courses, with portions so generous that a first and second course can easily feed two people. Here you can eat Lucanian food and drink excellent Aglianico wine. Coming back is a pleasure and almost a duty.😁

02/01/2025: We had lunch on January 1st at the bistro because the restaurant was fully booked. Even though they don't have a kitchen, we ate very well and the food was hot. It was all very good. We drank an excellent primitive red wine recommended by the manager. Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff throughout. Very welcoming place. I recommend it and I will definitely return!!

The service was impeccable, with friendly and customer-focused staff. The owner made us feel very welcome, stopping by our table several times to make sure everything was going smoothly. The location of the restaurant is equally fascinating, located in the heart of Matera, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The interiors are elegant and refined, with ceramic details that represent elements of the Matera tradition. In summary, L'Abbondanza Lucana is a restaurant that is absolutely worth a visit. The food, the service, the location and the kindness of the owner make this dining experience unique and memorable.

13/12/2024: A well-kept restaurant with ambience and service, exquisite homemade food with particular attention to quality. Tasting the pastas is highly recommended, with particular mention of the cacio e pepe. The desserts are also noteworthy. Unfortunately we had to have lunch in a hurry due to catching a train, but this restaurant deserves time to savor the wonderful dishes it offers with the necessary calm. I will definitely return as soon as I pass through Rome, it has become an obligatory stop.

02/01/2025: We had an aperitif in the winery. We entered around 5.30pm, an hour later the owner brought us the bill directly and shortly after invited us to clear the table to make room for other customers. I would have appreciated being notified in advance. Nothing to say about the quality of the wine and food, but in a place with certain pretensions the service should be looked after a little better.

01/01/2025: Beautiful location located in one of the most beautiful squares in Matera. Welcoming environment, professional owners and employees. Very attentive service. It's 12/31/2024... a fantastic dinner. Congratulations to everyone. I highly recommend it.

Lunch expense, correct. The owner's company was excellent without being intrusive and very friendly. Delicious typical dishes and delicious fried fish. I would like to return to try the pizza which is not made for lunch. Advised

17/12/2024: Sitting at Forentum is an experience that is good for the heart: good food, welcoming and intimate atmosphere, kind staff, helpful and ready to satisfy customers' needs. I absolutely recommend the maccaronara with pumpkin cream and pezzente sausage and the suckling pig all'aglianico: incredible! My boyfriend and I moved specifically to try this place and we couldn't be more satisfied, we will definitely be back. Thank you!

28/11/2024: During my trip to purchase goods to be allocated to the parish, where I serve as a permanent deacon, having made the timetable, we were looking for a place to refresh ourselves and return to the office. On the instructions of the employees of the company where we had gone for the above purchases, I found a quiet, welcoming, clean environment, the table service was discreet, prompt, courteous and competent. It was possible to verify and choose the choices of dishes and wines by placing a queue and subsequently requesting the order from the service employee with whom he was able to exchange a few words and share his life experiences. I highly recommend you go to this place, you won't regret it.
