06/07/2024: Absolutely a spectacle! The quality of the raw materials is remarkable! The place inside is very characteristic, I really liked it, there is also space outside if you want, but inside the environment really has personality. The raw meat was good, the cut was buttery, the aubergine was amazing, the Bavarian cream was a caress, very good in the kitchen, very good in the dining room. Remarkable! Really good!

26/06/2024: A beautiful Friulian-style tavern in Pordenone! Do you see it full of people? So you can eat well there! And so it was! Stumbled upon it by chance and it was a great discovery! Here you can find delicious Friuli Venezia Giulia style dishes. Ever eaten "radic e fricis"? Mangja and walls! The tuna tartare is delicious, the ravioli is delicious, their version of frico is very interesting! Welcoming and kind service, very helpful and approachable. We will happily return!

11/07/2024: Locale storico (70 anni !) nel cuore di Mortegliano a pochi km da Udine. Cena degustazione per matrimonio. Accoglienza super, tutti molto gentili e attenti. Prodotti freschi, presentati con attenzione , un po’ di tradizione e un po’ di innovazione . Tutto estremamente buono ! Ci torneremo sicuramente!!

15/08/2024: Very nice atmosphere, but I have to agree with the previous speakers, more appearance than reality. We dared to sit at an empty table at 9 p.m. We were then informed quite rudely by the boss that you should ask questions and that you weren't allowed to just sit down with her. Mind you, the tables were outdoors, no information about table assignment etc. We were then seated at another table that had been reserved beforehand. With the sweet note if you want to eat something, sit there. Even in the worst restaurant I've ever been to, nothing like this has ever happened to me. Here the customer is as valuable as a number in the supermarket. When I stopped at the supermarket, I was treated like a customer and, despite the language barrier, I was treated politely, respectfully and courteously with the feeling that I was a "customer". All in all: ambience good, food looked good, waiters friendly. Fat old woman (boss) not customer-oriented, unfriendly, clearly has too many customers. PS: Needless to say, we left without comment. It certainly could have been a happy conversation, but I'm too good for that as a guest. @Google how about minus stars 😉 Update after response from the owner: Neither I nor my companion noticed any information about table assignment. As you correctly wrote, we walked up and down in front of your restaurant several times. We were not asked by the staff or you whether we needed a table. Staff was also very busy as the restaurant was busy. We then took the only free table. The impression afterwards: We were noticed when we sat down. The first thing we were told was that we shouldn't sit down without being assigned. Afterwards we were immediately informed that we would be lucky to get something else as the kitchen was about to close. It should be mentioned that everyone ate at all the tables and also ordered food. I didn't have the impression that the kitchen would close immediately. Subjective perception on my part: At no point did I feel welcome. I would even lean towards the “unwanted guest” point. I have never experienced rejection of this kind in the catering industry. We left the restaurant with this feeling. Last but not least, I would like to apologize for choosing inappropriate words about the general manager's physical appearance in my review, which I wrote in a moment of anger and emotional turmoil. This choice of words was extremely inappropriate. However, I can reassure her that the fat man won't visit her anymore and doesn't want a fight.

31/08/2024: Wonderful, family restaurant. Cjalson's a discovery! Goulash tender and fine... optimal (as an Austrian I can judge it), as dessert Gubana with grappa another discovery!! Mango sorbetto wonderful. Boss and staff heartwarming and competent. Reserve!

31/08/2024: Lunch passing through Trieste. We wanted a typical Friulian place and this little trattoria is just like that. Mara cooks everything fresh, typical dishes of the area, homemade pasta and desserts all made by her. Delicious Cjarsons stuffed with herbs and salted ricotta cream, a must-try frico. Right portions. The environment is familiar like in grandmother's house, the very kind owner.

20/08/2024: I had a very good time! We soon had their platter which was very good, and then ravioli and tagliolini were super! Very friendly service.

18/08/2024: Small place, helpful and smiling staff even with the presence of many people. San Daniele raw ham of the highest quality. The price was a bit excessive.

08/08/2024: We stayed more than a few times...each time more and less; with the heat of these days the doors were open so there were no air conditioners, in the room which wasn't even too full they actually forgot about us, they brought the two courses (a plate of ham and side dish, nothing special) each very calmly and for pleasure... but can't you see us?...never again. Seeing the other negative comments they didn't understand anything!!

17/08/2024: Returning to Udine after the summer holidays we came across this place and never was a more appropriate choice. Friendly, well-prepared staff and excellent dishes: a welcoming place. and experience to be repeated. Advised.

Rustic location, well looked after with multiple dining rooms. I give 4 stars because several dishes were "sold out", which may be okay given that it was Sunday and they don't do dinner in the evening and Monday is closed, but it would have been correct to notify us before ordering. Details compared to the overall experience. Large outdoor parking. Edit 25 August 2024. Today we returned, while confirming the quality of the dishes and wine, I have to underline that the service today was far from impeccable, the orders for the first and second courses were mixed up so the second courses came out together to the first courses while other dishes were missing. Sin.

18/07/2024: We sampled a charcuterie board which was plentiful and delicious and then the grill. The grill is not traditional, I think the place deserves a second time to taste the first ones! Overall though we were satisfied! Great price!

15/07/2024: Excellent experience. Living room in the yellow house; comfortable, quiet, very well air conditioned. Very convenient internal parking. Excellent and tailor-made breakfasts, both sweet and savory, with excellent quality local products. Very convenient location for moving around the entire region. Beautiful stay.
