04/01/2025: If there is one thing I love when I go out to eat, it is the attention with which a chef welcomes you into his restaurant, making you feel at home. Here, everything is taken care of with passion and professionalism. The dishes are excellent and genuine, prepared following our traditional recipes, which have made us rediscover the authentic flavors of the past. The service was impeccable, with a contagious enthusiasm and a sincere desire to make us leave satisfied and smiling. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

21/03/2025: If you're looking for amazing carbonara, you absolutely have to check out La Pecora Pazza in Rome! I had it at three different places, and this one was by far the best. The carbonara was incredible, and the cod was delicious too(I am Portuguese and no one can beat how we cook bacalhau) — it was so good that it practically melted in my mouth! I just wish I had discovered this little gem earlier in our trip instead of on our last night. But hey, at least it made our final dinner super special! Highly recommend it!

20/03/2025: Service is a bit slow but other than that both the atmosphere and the food are very good. Pizzas and lasagna are some of the best you can eat in Rome. House wine is nice. The place is interesting, there is a nice atmosphere downstairs once you enter.

10/03/2025: Now a historic place for live music in Rome. The offer is varied with various highly trained groups. Found an evening with Dance Jam - Carnival Party and it was 2 and a half hours of wild music and dancing. Even though the place was full, the right amount of attention was given to my birthday. A nice way to celebrate an important date.

12/03/2025: Restaurant located in the center of Civita, easily accessible. The place is very very characteristic, pleasant and very clean. Really great food from starters to desserts. Absolutely worth trying, at the end of the meal, is the piretto-based liqueur, a delight. The service is impeccable and fast. The owner, Roberta, is a true hostess who pays attention to her customers. An added value, then, is the town of Civita which absolutely deserves to be visited.

07/04/2025: Prima di oggi, solo due volte avevo visitato il borgo di Bova. E per due volte, sulla strada per raggiungere il borgo, sono sempre stato attratto da questo splendido agriturismo. Alla terza, prima del solito giro tra vicoli, chiese e castello, decidiamo di fermarci e, senza aver effettuato alcuna prenotazione, diversamente da come faccio di solito, oltre ad avere a disposizione un tavolo per due, veniamo accolti in maniera davvero coinvolgente, prima, dal ragazzo di sala che dal pastore che produceva ricotta sul momento. Ottimo inizio, direi! Capiamo già di aver fatto la scelta migliore! Le intenzioni erano quelle di non pranzare come siamo abituati qui in Calabria ma di provare giusto un “antipastino” prima di visitare il borgo. Non sapendo, tuttavia, che il loro “antipastino”, comprende svariate portate, tra caldi (sette, per l’esattezza) e freddi. Annessi la tipica lestopitta bovese e il pane “cunzatu”. Ovviamente, tutto di loro produzione. Risultato? Abbiamo fatto il giro di Bova rotolando. Pieni, ma soddisfatti e felici!

06/04/2025: Sono stata in questo posto domenica a pranzo con il mio fidanzato. Locale buono ma sopravvalutato, a mio parere. Abbiamo deciso di andarci perché avevamo sentito recensioni positive, ma siamo rimasti delusi (probabilmente anche a causa delle alte aspettative che avevamo). Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolto un cameriere. Senza portarci alcun menù, ci ha proposto di iniziare con l'antipasto per poi capire, andando avanti, come continuare con eventuali primi e/o secondi. Abbiamo preso quindi l'antipasto composto da antipasti freddi (quindi salumi, formaggi e altre cose) che erano abbastanza buoni e antipasti caldi (polpette, braciolette di pancetta, parmigiana, trippa, fagioli e altre cose), invece, deludenti...nulla di eccezionale. Abbiamo infine preso il dolce - io tre piccoli cannoli alla ricotta, il mio fidanzato un po' di gelato alla nocciola affogato al Kephas - e due caffè. Da bere solo una bottiglia d'acqua. Abbiamo pagato 50€, che ci sono sembrati eccessivi per ciò che abbiamo mangiato.

22/02/2025: We had a wonderful lunch experience. Recommendation from a star chef from Calabria! We were expected and greeted in a friendly manner. Family business. The menu was excellent (see collage). We were already full from the homemade antipasti. We couldn't manage a primo for two anymore. Secondo was out of the question! At the end with wine, soft drinks, amaro, coperto and coffee € 65 for two!!! Mega, the journey was worth it, especially from a culinary point of view!

22/02/2025: Wir hatten ein wunderbares Lunch-Erlebnis. Empfehlung einer Sterne-Köchin aus Kalabrien! Wir wurden erwartet und freundlich begrüßt. Familienbetrieb. Die Speisenfolge war hervorragend (siehe Collage). Wir waren bereits durch die hausgemachten Antipasti gesättigt. Ein Primo zu Zweit schafften wir schon nicht mehr. An Secondo war gar nicht zu denken! Am Ende mit Wein, Softdrinks, Amazon, Coperto und Caffe € 65 zu Zweit!!! Mega, der Weg lohnte sich, vor allem kulinarisch!
