10/07/2025: Recommended by a local friend, simply delicious! We started with an endless mixed antipasto platter featuring local products, samples of cured meats, cheeses, meatballs, pork rolls, croquettes, and more. For our first course, we had tagliatelle with cod and crusco peppers, a highly recommended dish. For dessert, we had fried mezzelune (half-moons) filled with ricotta and cinnamon, simple and delicious. The waiter Mario was very friendly and approachable, and was always available throughout the meal. I also got to know the chef Giacomo, who recommended dishes for us to order; he was also very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy the view, this is the perfect spot. P.S. As for seating, I recommend the terrace, with a stunning view.

28/08/2025: I have known the place for over 10 years now, excellent quality... courtesy, excellent service... dishes that only you can taste... terra cotta lamb... a world heritage site ❤️ the thing that surprised them the most is certainly the integration of "SPECIAl" kids who are allowed to feel an integral part of the world of work... ..❤️ from the kitchen to the tables... kids who with their smile fill your heart making us experience an absolutely familiar context and not at all taken for granted in today's society... which instead of valorizing these kids... from whose sensitivity we have so much to learn... sometimes marginalizes them. much honor to the whole team but especially to the boss❤️❤️❤️

27/08/2025: A genuine, family-friendly culinary experience. The dishes, made with locally sourced ingredients, are a true delight: the parmigiana and stuffed eggplant were excellent, but the mushroom gnocchi were truly amazing. The lack of a menu was also appreciated, with the owner simply listing the few excellent daily specials. The price, discovered only at the end, turned out to be very fair and without any surprises—in fact, I'll definitely be back!

27/08/2025: After a morning spent wandering around the village of Badolato, we decided to have lunch at this tavern. The food was excellent and delicious, and the owner, Antonio, was excellent company and service. He welcomed us as if we were at home. As we chatted, he even offered us some prickly pears to try. Highly recommended if you're visiting Badolato.

20/08/2025: Beautiful restaurant with amazing food, I brought my mom here and she speaks no Italian and I am still learning. I thought there would be a physical menu, so I had trouble keeping up with the Italian of the waitress and owner but she was incredibly nice and understanding and even used Google translate on her phone to help us order our first course which was very kind and thoughtful of her. We were unfortunately too full to order second courses but the desert was also amazing. Service and food were all fantastic! I'd love to come back again with a bigger group, and when my Italian is improved!

20/07/2025: I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant in Tropea! Located in the heart of the city center, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. The fish is fresh and high-quality, and the tuna tartare was a real revelation! The owner was very kind and helpful, and the staff was equally welcoming and professional. The prices are beyond excellent considering the quality of the food and service. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tropea.

I lost a pair of glasses and he immediately took steps to send them to me, a truly good man.

20/07/2025: We stopped to sleep and eat at "Il Normano" on our way to Sicily. The rooms were very welcoming, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. They offer self-service breakfast; we enjoyed it very much. As for the restaurant, everything was perfect: excellent pizza, fast service, and very friendly staff and manager. They greeted us with a smile even though they were closing. I recommend both the restaurant and the rooms. Fair prices. Thank you very much.

02/08/2025: A truly pleasant experience at the Kamastra restaurant! The food is excellent, with typical local dishes prepared with care and using genuine ingredients. The authentic flavors of Lucanian tradition were a wonderful discovery. The prices are also more than fair, considering the quality of the food and service. We had a small issue, but everything was promptly resolved at the cashier with kindness and professionalism. Otherwise, it's a welcoming place where I would gladly return.

24/08/2025: The bistro is a tranquil escape from the chaos of city life, embodying the essence of a truly slow-paced lifestyle. If you're in the area, it's the perfect place to savor traditional Calabrian cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. The hostess, La Signora, the waitress was incredibly kind to us. After seating us at the table, she promptly offered some delightful bread, including a spicy bread with peperoncino. The restaurant has only five tables, so it's advisable to make a reservation in advance. The antipasto is a must-try, featuring a selection of typical dishes that allow you to enjoy a variety of delicious flavors. We decided to go straight to the second course, but the pasta and first course options looked so tempting that we couldn't resist ordering a bowl of pasta and fagioli. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be back. Bravi!

The welcome was warm, although the chef's (he prefers to be called that) temper tantrum over an incident that occurred shortly before our order meant that the gnocchi ordered for my son left a lot to be desired... 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
