12/08/2024: I went there for dinners almost every night during my trip in Rome. The price and taste were good. Highly recommend the eggplant meatball and carbonara. I like that it's in a basement. The service was super friendly and nice. But the price for every meal was €1-2 more than on the menu. I don't know if they haven't updated it or what.

07/08/2024: We came here during our first night and afterwards we couldn’t find a similar taste at different restaurants, so we came back. There is a ‘nonna’ in the kitchen which was a good sign at first. The food is great. Especially the tomato sauce seems homemade. The server spoke good English and he really tried to think with you about what you might like. I felt a nice homey Italian experience in this restaurant

04/09/2024: I found this restaurant on the internet and, driven by the excellent reviews, I wanted to try it. What can I say? I am absolutely satisfied with the family environment and comfortable food cooked to perfection, starting with the starter, a pleasure for the palate and the sight. Excellent and very filling. I, who don't like meat, found it delicious. It's worth making a few bends to try this restaurant. A little advice. To enter there are only three steps which are a little high and for an elderly person (like my mother) they can be difficult. A small ramp might help. For the rest everything is ok. Congratulations to all.

04/08/2024: Small restaurant in a typical location, menu not very extensive but given the family preparation it is understandable. Very good food, I absolutely recommend the pasta (made by them) with mushrooms and lamb chops, generous portions. The service is excellent, the waiter (owner) is always available and friendly. More than amazing quality/quantity/price ratio. In summary, an excellent choice for a quality meal at a reasonable price.

11/08/2024: This restaurant is overpriced for what you get. When you're paying 20€ for a salmon tartare, you expect more than a tiny portion with a fish scale in it! While the food tasted decent, it lacked originality. Half of the dishes we ordered had the same potato and onion purée base, and the sweet chili sauce tasted like something from the store. The portions are incredibly small, even for the city center. The service was good, but the outdoor seating left much to be desired, with slanted tables making it uncomfortable. Our bill came to just over 100€ for two appetizers, two main courses, and a single glass of wine. It wasn’t enough food, and we ended up going somewhere else for dessert. Even with a discount, we probably wouldn’t be coming back.

26/07/2024: Scoperto per caso su instagram e prenotato tramite The Fork, siamo andati a cena un mercoledì afoso romano. Ci siamo seduti fuori e devo dire che il ragazzo che ci ha serviti al tavolo è stato molto attento alle nostre esigenze, gentile e disponibile. mangiato crudi e un primo di mare ed era tutto fresco e molto buono. Ho provato la degustazione di crudi come antipasti e alcuni abbinamenti non mi hanno fatto impazzire, ma è una questione di gusti, il pesce era oggettivamente ottimo. Non sono molto economici ma con the fork devo dire ceh il prezzo è nella media (circa 60 eur p.p.). Ambientazione molto carina e intima, ottima per una cena a due a monti.

25/11/2024: Super late Sunday lunch, but memorable. There were 3 of us and we opted for starters and dessert, really plentiful and delicious! We thank Mr. Giorgio so much for serving us with patience and care, especially for the gluten-free dishes. Excellent value for money. Also worth mentioning is the panoramic view, enchanting!

25/11/2024: I went to this farmhouse with some friends to spend a Sunday lunch. Given that I had never been there and that despite everything I plan to return. I had high expectations considering all the positive reviews read here on Google and the invitation to go there from several friends who had already been there... but I didn't return home totally and fully satisfied. The location is beautiful; attention to detail, clean and with a breathtaking view. The fixed menu at €35 per person includes starter, first course, second course, dessert, coffee, bitters and drinks are included. The portions are very generous, even more than you would expect. The starters were SUBLIME: from cold to hot every dish worthy of praise and a feast for the palate. The first courses, consisting of two choices (macaroni with meat sauce and macaroni with mushrooms) disappointed me as they were cold and had nothing special with the flavour. The second, or rather a grilled meat, nothing to say but I was expecting something different. The dessert was really good and consisted of a very simple tiramisu. The service is excellent, friendly and approachable. Has the weight of expectations played a trick on me? Or was it the talk of a day that didn't go well in the kitchen that made me think this? I will 100% return with the hope of changing my mind.

20/09/2024: Fantástica comida en un gran entorno a un precio muy razonable. No te pierdas sus antipasti mezclados. Comimos dentro, pero también tienen una terraza.

20/06/2024: The Flying Donkey never disappoints, this year too we went to the concert of the TGA Music School and the atmosphere is always fantastic. Perfect acoustics, TOP food (the bruschetta with 'nduja literally left its mark..) and above all lots of good BEER!!!!! If you then add the music of the school students who literally ROCKED then it can only be a super evening!!!!
