Since I was a girl, DonGio' has been synonymous with very honest, good food in a place that becomes family if you only go back for the third time! Everything really works well for an evening that can go from informative to formal! Yet another excellent testimony to what can truly be defined as a family tradition!

Great Calabrian restaurant, all the dishes are tremendously wonderful.

The level of perfection of this place cannot be described in neither words nor photos. It is the most simple, cozy, warm, loving place, and we didn’t talk about food yet. Start with a Caponata, continue with a Spaghetti De Cetara (never ever dare to miss this!) and finish with a Tiramisu + a nice digestif (Liquor de licorice is a great choice) Here’s a challenge. Try to pass a whole meal here without even once saying “wow”. I bet you can’t.

As soon as you enter you think you will spend a lot, a beautiful location, well set tables in short a nice environment perhaps a little cramped with the tables, we ate bruschetta with nduja and capocollo with caciocavallo, the first ones we took were naturally spicy but not excessively, good the sausage with vegetables, excellent tiramisu, good wine list, the service does not have the Calabrian warmth.....professional but does not interact with the customers enough, honestly I have to say that the portions are minimal but the bill makes me change my mind what was said at the entrance... A good restaurant, in my very humble opinion, with staff with a Calabrian accent and more passionate would be a top restaurant

Ristorante di cucina meditteranea, con simpatia verso la Calabria, locale molto candido, buona la misenplace, abbiamo cenato n tranquillità senza essere disturbati dagli altri commensali, peccato per gli spazi, i tavoli sono vicinissimi e sopratutto per il servizio ci sono difficoltà, i camerieri lasciavano i piatti fin dove potevano arrivare, smistavamo noi le portate, il servizio; è molto garbato, ma a mio avviso timido, leggermente freddo, e soprattutto di calabrese neanche i trisnonni ..... Gli antipasti, polpettine, bruschette, capocollo ... più scarsi che buoni, i primi ben cucinati e di quantità normale, la salsiccia è sempre in mezzo, anche nei secondi ho trovato la porzione misurata, i dolci ok sia in porzione che in qualità, tiramisù come da nonna, originalissimo il pistacchio piccante, buono il barbera sfuso, promosso il conto, considerando la zona, la location e la qualità del cibo (magro) abbiamo speso una cifra umana .

cosa dire di un ristorante che mantiene le aspettative da anni, nulla di più che affidabile, gentili preparati accoglienti e piatti sempre all'altezza. e noi continuiamo a tornare

Una cucina unica che fa conoscere i piatti tipici calabresi di grande qualità. Frequentato da molti turisti stranieri. Ultimamente si sono aggiunte nuove pietanze da degustare ed un nuovo look
