09/03/2026: We went for lunch today, September 12, 2025. We're a group of hungry bikers. We were greeted with kindness and courtesy. We received excellent advice. The food was delicious, with locally sourced sheep's milk ricotta and superb arrosticini. The wait staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. A chat with the customers is always a pleasure. WE'LL BE BACK!

31/03/2026: Don't miss it. A great restaurant experience, at very reasonable prices. The wine list is amazing. I read the comments complaining about the prices and I'm shocked: these are people who clearly never leave the house; appetizers are under €15, main courses around €16-18, with excellent quality ingredients. Anyone who frequents restaurants knows that these days, main courses are around €20-22, at least. Believe me, don't miss this experience.
02/01/2026: Top mix of Abruzzo and Piemonte. Do not expect the huge portions served elsewhere in the area. Still you will certainly not leave being hungry. The food is excellent and you will get the chance to reasonably digest it. Very quiet, scenic view from the outside.

20/04/2026: It had been highly recommended, but it fell short of expectations. The quality and quantity of the food were completely out of line with the high price tag. The location, with its excellent view, was certainly good, but not enough to recommend it. We won't be returning.

09/04/2026: A triumph of authentic gastronomy and hospitality. The ingredients are always fresh and the meats are superb, as are the cured meats and hams. Managing the grill is an art to be appreciated before enjoying the scamorza and everything else they cook. Desserts and hospitality complete the experience.
30/03/2026: Da Renzo has remained a trusted restaurant over the years. I've been going there for decades and it's always been excellent. Service is prompt, even when the restaurant is busy, and the food is excellent and authentic, made with quality ingredients. The meat selection is also varied, grilled, and prices are average for quality food. For anyone passing through, it's definitely a great experience.

16/06/2025: Questo luogo va vissuto. Non penso sia possibile descriverlo, per la ricchezza di cose che contornano i tavoli. Storia, arte, luci, colori. L’interno una passeggiata in cose meravigliose, d’altri tempi. Le pietanze, poi, toccano la perfezione. Il carpaccio di cervo con i carciofini è squisito, lo è anche un prosciutto, tagliato spesso, bagnato con olio d’oliva EVO. Completa il tutto un servizio professionale, amichevole e rispettoso. Tornerò, sicuramente.

13/02/2026: Passing through on our way to OPI, we spotted this restaurant on the road. We stopped for lunch, and it was an excellent choice. The owner, Gianpio, is incredibly kind and explained the menu of the day, and we ended up choosing an excellent egg pasta chitarrina with porcini mushrooms and sausage. Sublime!

27/07/2025: Esperienza terribile. Siamo stati in questo ristorante su consiglio di amici. Cucina turistica e trattamento becero.
Quando è arrivata la carne, nell'immediato il tagliere si è riempito di mosche. La carne era dura, di pessima qualità e bruciata.
Da evitare.

19/07/2025: Dopo una lunga passeggiata, di ritorno dal castello ci fermiamo qui per cenare. La carne arrosto alla brace è molto buona così come i contorni di verdure grigliate. Buonissimi i dolci. La ragazza che ci serve è carinissima e gentile. Prezzi poco poco alti ma ci sta perché c’è la buona qualità del prodotto.
11/07/2025: Poca attenzione agli ospiti, le luci non vengono completamente accese, per cui mangi in penombra senza vedere bene la pietanza. La porta della cucina rimane sempre aperta per cui i fumi della carni sono tutti in sala! Il vino rosé è imbevibile! Cibo nella media, prezzi un pochino sopra.

21/07/2025: Es un hallazgo increíble. Excelente comida elaborada con ingredientes locales. Cada plato es único y cuidadosamente preparado. El restaurante es precioso y la terraza tiene una vista magnífica. Todo ello en un pueblo medieval restaurado. Agregue a este servicio atento, sofisticado pero amigable y estará lo más cerca posible de una experiencia gastronómica perfecta y se encontrará en cualquier lugar. Un verdadero descubrimiento. Fantastic.
20/07/2025: Locale non adatto agli abruzzesi menu’ povero è il cameriere ha tolto due portate ai primi due ai secondi eccetera capite che se l’ospite si siede e su un menu di 10 portate ne tolgono 4 di cui rimane il baccalà formaggio arrostito e lasci come carne un tacchino porchettato riscaldato e male odorante lo abbiamo lasciato nel piatto e’uno specchietto per le allodole per turisti ripeto gli abruzzesi non DEVONO entrare non esiste la carne alla griglia mi sembra una presa per il ……. Cambiate mestiere
