07/01/2026: A characteristic mountain atmosphere. This refuge, featuring a fireplace at the entrance and a large dining room with tables, offers refreshments, including polenta and other dishes between snowshoe hikes. I enjoyed an excellent hot punch at the end of the day. I highly recommend it.

06/01/2026: A quaint, charming refuge with a welcoming fireplace. The veranda, all made of wood and stone, houses the dining area. On busy days, they organize an efficient self-service restaurant with "social" tables (we also ate with another family, which was lovely). The cuisine is traditional and good. Prices are fair (about €15-20 per person). The bar also deserves a mention for its excellent hot chocolate, served with cream and biscuits, ideal for a cozy getaway, perhaps sitting by the fireplace.

21/01/2026: Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, despite the high expectations I've had for years. The prices are too high, definitely disproportionate to what the restaurant offers overall. The restaurant is located in a residential area that's objectively unattractive and devoid of any interest, and the restaurant itself, even from the outside, appears anonymous and uninviting, with nothing to entice you in or suggest a high-quality offering. Even the name "L'Angolo d'Abruzzo" is misleading: there's nothing reminiscent of Abruzzo, not in the setting, nor in the details, nor even in the atmosphere. The food is good, but the portions are very small and, overall, absolutely not worth the high prices, starting with the €3.50 cover charge per person! I was particularly disappointed by one incident: we followed the waiter's suggestion, which included a side of mushrooms to accompany the meat, only to discover when we received the bill that a dish consisting of a single sliced ​​mushroom was charged 20 euros, without the cost being clarified in advance (don't accept the offer of roasted cardarelle mushrooms!!!!). This was a customer service approach I didn't appreciate at all. The only positive aspect was the courtesy of the staff, but that wasn't enough to make up for the completely unbalanced quality/price ratio. I won't return, nor do I recommend it, because the overall experience was completely out of line with other restaurants of the same or higher quality.

02/01/2026: Top mix of Abruzzo and Piemonte. Do not expect the huge portions served elsewhere in the area. Still you will certainly not leave being hungry. The food is excellent and you will get the chance to reasonably digest it. Very quiet, scenic view from the outside.

11/01/2026: What can I say? I took my partner thinking I was taking her to a high-end restaurant, but it turned out to be a complete flop. We ordered a chitarrina with saffron and truffles, but there was no saffron at all, and the truffle only looked like truffle. It was a simple chitarrina with butter. Then we had pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, which were soaked in oil but tasted like nothing. For my second course, I had grilled lamb, and luckily it was good, except for the sautéed chicory, which was very tough. The location was beautiful, and the wait staff was kind and professional.

17/01/2026: What can I say! Incredibly good food, very welcoming atmosphere, clean bathroom, excellent and fast service. The meat is of exceptional quality, the fries are very filling and fantastic, I recommend the excellent beef steak, tender, tasty, and the stringy, flavorful scamorza. The portions are very generous and full of ingredients. I will definitely come back again!

15/01/2026: My husband and I stopped by for lunch today... I was amazed by the first course... there were 4 of us eating... but it was still very good... we took some home and will eat tomorrow... I recommend it... beautiful... clean... but above all the food is divine... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
