27/02/2026: We were invited by some friends and had a really good meal. We'll definitely be back.

23/02/2026: The meat is truly delicious and beautifully cooked. Experience, quality, and professionalism are evident. I'll definitely be back to try the first courses and, when in season, the mushrooms and truffles for which it's famous. What impressed me most, besides the quality, is the expert cooking of each dish.

22/02/2026: A very quaint place, prices a little above average in my opinion, but the food is good. Any advice? Skip everything and get the veal steak, €20 well spent. Add chicory and a bottle of water, some pizza bianca, and for €27 you've had an excellent, very tasty steak for lunch. The prices for the other items, in my humble opinion, are too high, especially since it's a Sunday, so they serve like a diner. Would I go back? The answer is yes, I would go back for the steak, which was divine. As for the rest, I don't know. Still, a very quaint place.

09/02/2026: I had lunch at the self-service restaurant. The pre-cooked polenta was nothing special, but the sautéed vegetables were excellent. The wait was very short, considering it was Friday. The price for a polenta was €15. Enough for one person.

15/02/2026: We are a family from Naples. We had a great time. The food was plentiful, the quality was excellent, and the prices were also excellent. The restrooms were excellent. I highly recommend it as a restaurant.

24/01/2026: We returned after years. The dishes were generous, to say the least. A first course could feed two adults and a child, and perhaps even a few left over for those who bring their furry friends. The prices were low for the quantity. It's a shame we didn't get to eat the second course.

15/03/2026: Very kind staff (the owner's daughter, but not him). But the food was truly mediocre. The truffle and saffron chitarrine were completely tasteless, the truffle never arrived, I've never eaten such a tasteless truffle (frozen? Fake papier-mâché? Who knows), not even a trace of saffron with the Ris and genetics methodology. My partner's tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (absent) and cardoncelli mushrooms were truly awful, they were in oil (but seed oil!!). The appetizers for two (there were four of us) = 4, only 1 arrived (that is, for two people). The meatballs were two meat and two cheese and egg, but we had told them that two of us were vegetarians and we found ourselves with meatballs in our mouths. We mentioned it and not even an apology (I'm not even mentioning the discount). The rest was pointless. The ending was a surprise. The owner quickly calculated the bill, without giving us an invoice or a clear receipt, totaling 150. Since we paid by card, she still had to give us a receipt, but only the total was there. The bills didn't add up for us... So, trust a Sicilian who knows his way around fine cuisine and has tried it throughout Italy, Europe, and the world... go elsewhere. I feel sorry for the owner's daughter, who, I repeat, was very kind (even if she did the final bill).

24/02/2026: Taverna De li Caldora stands out for its carefully crafted cuisine and authentic flavors. The rustic and welcoming atmosphere is in keeping with the charm of Pacentro, a charming village despite its somewhat isolated location.

02/01/2026: Top mix of Abruzzo and Piemonte. Do not expect the huge portions served elsewhere in the area. Still you will certainly not leave being hungry. The food is excellent and you will get the chance to reasonably digest it. Very quiet, scenic view from the outside.

06/03/2026: Excellent for carnivores. Large spaces and renewed elegance. I've known it for many years, only high-powered cars outside. Good, efficient service, fresh produce, and cuisine: nothing that wowed me. But that's just a matter of taste!

02/03/2026: Every time I go to Abruzzo I stop at Renzo's for lunch, everything is always perfect, excellent meat, spectacular artichokes.
