27/08/2024: Wonderful, famil- run boutique hotel. Breakfast: served whenever you want, in your room - order the night before (large menu to choose from). Fresh baked croissants were amazing. Location: high up at street level, which also gives a jaw dropping view. You can take either the road or stairs to walk down to the beach etc. Taxis are also very easy to find for flat rate of 35-40 euro per ride. We were traveling with a baby and were impressed that they had both a pack and play and high chair in our room for us.

08/06/2024: 4 different hotels for us on this trip and this place has the most kind and genuine staff we encountered. Great location (it matters in this town), great views, extremely accommodating staff - highly recommended. Pro tip: the concierge are locals and are extremely knowledgeable with tours and best ways to get around so pick their brains before booking tours. Nitpick for the staff: our washroom smelled like a wet cloth, not sure where it came from.

28/08/2024: "ohiamá" non è un semplice ristorante, ohimá è una filosofia ben precisa, è una storia che Giulia racconta sospinta dall' entusiasmo e dall' amore, lo stesso che nutre per il marito Chef, la maiuscola è d'obbligo in questi casi, Luigi. Forse la chiave di tutto sta proprio in una scelta a mio avviso inconscia ma che tutto racconta di questo splendido ristorante. Parto con il dire che ohimá precedente non era un ristorante ma era un atelier della madre dello chef che aveva al piano interrato il laboratorio dove cuciva, al pian terreno l' esposizione e la vendita ed aveva adibito il piano superiore a piccola abitazione poiché, trascorrendo gran parte del tempo in negozio, poteva cosi avere i figli sempre sotto controllo. E quale è il fulcro di una casa mediterranea se non la cucina? Così Luigi ha scelto di adibire il piano alto del ristorante a cucina, una cucina straordinaria, tutta in vetrata, dove con grazia e coordinazione si muove tutta la brigata. Meravigliosa dunque la vista dei commensali che siedono ai tavoli del piano superiore che possono così ammirare la maestria di Luigi. Al pian terreno il locale prosegue nel suo inconfondibile stile moderno ma senza risultare asettico, al contrario estremamente caldo ed elegante. Notevole anche il terrazzo esterno che affaccia sulla piazza dei Mulini. Giungendo alla cucina che dire ... Estasi... Scegliamo il menù degustazione, chiedendo se possibile stare su una linea di pesce e da lì inizia l' incanto. 5 portate più uno stuzzichino iniziale ed un sorbetto aventi come tratto comune la delicatezza. Una delicatezza di chi sa togliere il superfluo, lavorare sull'essenziale senza mai e poi mai rinunciare al gusto. La vera magia di Luigi è proprio questa, sa fare della delicatezza un tratto in grado di rimanere nella memoria, così a Bergamo sogneremo il fiore di zucca ripieno e la millefoglie di zucchine, il tonno marinato nell' anguria, scottato ed il gazpacho di pomodori, la pasta e patate con il ragù superbo di totani locali, come la ricciola in panko, il sorbetto ed il dolce di chiusura. Degna di un così straordinario chef è Giulia, la moglie, che sa essere accogliente, garbata e fine oltre che professionale. Questi ragazzi sono già stellati a mio avviso ma consiglio vivamente alla guida Michelin di andare e toccare con mano, ma ancor più con palato.

11/08/2024: We ended up getting our dinner (takeaway pasta meals) from here a couple of nights we were in Positano as we found the prices and quality of pasta fantastic compared to sit down restaurants in the centre of Positano. Would highly recommend people giving it a try.

20/08/2024: Hotel Savoia absolutely incredible. It is the perfect location in Positano with only a 5 minute walk to the beach without climbing many steps on the way back up. The breakfast each morning was amazing, especially with the open-concept kitchen with a chef cooking any type of eggs or omelette you would like. We checked in early at 12:00 and Margarita at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful or nice and showed us to our room immediately, as well as offering to assist with any excursion or dinner reservations for us. Very kid-friendly as well as we traveled with our two children and the family room with the terrace was perfect and beautiful. 100% recommend!

20/08/2024: The service was beyond amazing and surpassed all expectations! The staff are incredibly helpful and thoughtful, especially Frederica, who helped us during an emergency at night. The location is perfect, right in the center, with a breathtaking view. Would definitely recommend!

05/09/2024: The most friendly service we had so far in our Italy trip. And easily the most delicious meal we had so far as well. Highly recommend the lobster linguine, chicken leg, mussles/clams and lemon sorbet! And they are open all day! Many restaurants here close in the afternoon.

31/08/2024: One of the best dining experiences I had in Europe! Positano is a bustling tourist hub, but da Gabrisa is a hidden gem that’s a little further uphill than other restaurants. The hike is brutal ngl, but the view and the food are worth it! We got there half an hour earlier than our reservation and they fit us in right away. We chose this place specifically for their vegan menu, and oh boy, it was fantastic! As a vegan in Italy you can count on marinara pizza and bruschetta, but it was great to have some more options. We tried almost everything on the vegan menu and loved everything except the pizza di scarola. It was good, but the linguine and cheesecake were exceptional. We also had a bottle of moscato that was the icing on the cake of a great dining experience. Oh, and don’t get me started on the views and the atmosphere! Drop dead gorgeous views from all the outdoor tables. Just to be sure we got a spot outside we reserved our table in advance with a note requesting a table with a view.

29/08/2024: I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant by coincidence, and the service was beyond amazing. The food was delicious, and the view from the restaurant was incredible as well.

21/08/2024: Fantastic in every way! The service is phenomenal. Everyone was warm, inviting and friendly. The food was top notch. The dishes were beautifully plated. And the full moon coming over the water made it all magical. Unforgettable experience. Everything you would expect at a Michelin star restaurant.

17/08/2024: I went to this restaurant in 2021 and, very happy with the overall experience, my husband and I decided to book a gift dinner for my parents' wedding anniversary (July 6). Unfortunately we were not satisfied with the management of the "gift dinner". In fact, we were charged for drinks that were never consumed (two of them costing 25 euros each). After having reported the fact twice (via email and telephone) they proposed an aperitif to us all together on the terrace (offered). I appreciate the gesture but from a restaurant of this level I expected at least a refund offer and customer care that was up to par. Furthermore, we had already returned home after the holidays and living far away it is very difficult for us to return to Positano. Ps. My parents were very happy with the experience and the table service but I would recommend the establishment to provide a menu without prices.

22/06/2024: Wonderful dinner experience with tasting menu! We went for date night and had the bigger tasting menu and loved every course. Staff was friendly and helpful, food was creative and delicious and drinks were great too. Highly recommend. I was hesitant going here because of a bunch of negative reviews, but we enjoyed every aspect of the meal and experience and could hear lots of positive feedback from the other guests. The dining rooms is very small and intimate and has a great view of the sea! I think the negative reviews are mostly coming from people that just like to complain when given the forum. If you go in with a positive attitude, you are going to have a great time!

07/08/2024: A nice atmosphere, marvellous view, and welcoming staff especially, Ms. Margherita who is such a sweet and hospitable lady. She welcomed us very warmly and overall we enjoyed the whole experience. The Cacio e Pepe was super delicious. Highly recommend.

06/08/2024: Food is overpriced, not much flavor. A tourist trap. You are going to spend 20+€ per person to get bland food in a small portion.

11/07/2024: 5 STELLE FOREVER. CONSIGLIATISSIMO! Eravamo a Positano per una gita quando la mia ospite tunisina mi propone di andare al ristorante. Decidiamo quale e, tutto stupendo, staff simpatico. Ormai sera, mille lucette illuminano le stradine del paesino campano e mentre ci incamminiamo verso il parcheggio, vengo attratta da una soave musica, lontana. Decido dunque di entrare a sbirciare nel Le Petit Murat Lounge Bar per fare una foto. Un pianoforte suona, un'atmosfera elegante e rilassata, bella gente. Una bella statuetta troneggia al centro della sala. L'adorabile Ernesto al bar ci lascia accomodare e, a sorpresa, prepara un cocktail per mia figlia 15enne. Le faccio due foto e intanto arriva Nello il Bello. Assaggio anch'io il cocktail. Buono? No! Mitico! Chiedo il nome: Basil Splitz. Intanto un signore osserva mentre i camerieri, cordialissimi, vanno e vengono. Capisco che quel signore non sta solo guardando e gli dico che, incredula e pentita dell'occasione persa, avevo notato quanto i suoi prezzi fossero gli stessi dei locali sulla spiaggia laddove l'atmosfera ed il locale stesso erano 1000 volte più belli. E, ciliegina sulla torta, è anche un albergo! Ci tornerò? Certo! Grazie di cuore Ernesto, Nello e tutti voi per la gentilezza, la semplicità e le due chiacchiere con queste due Napoletane che, purtroppo, vivono nella fredda Scozia. Tiziana e J. 💌

23/06/2024: Great courtyard setting with attentive bar staff, great cocktails and they have misting fans for hot days. Came before dinner below and it was swanky and well worth the $$$

18/08/2024: This place is fantastic, go here when you're in Positano! The wine selection is fabulous and you can build your own flights as well. Great pan Italy selection, including a lot of local Campania wines. Staff is wonderful and friendly. And their bruschetta is a great complement.

15/08/2024: We went here two days in a row, tasted a lot of wine, ate bruschetta and loved it! The wine list is extensive and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend.
