19/02/2026: Incredibly delicious pizza slices! The perfect end to a visit to Pompeii. For a quick break or a fast-food meal, there's nothing better. We came back again the very next day.

30/01/2026: I haven't been to the McDonald's on Via Roma, but I'd like to point out that the clerks forgot the 0.40 cent barbecue sauce. Where can I get it? Where can I find the sauce? I wish all the black people who are exploited by multinationals a happy evening. The doctor was very nice. Good evening, Doctor.

15/03/2026: Stopped here for a bite to eat. Honestly, it's a restaurant, but not even a trattoria! The prices are outrageous. The food is average, a bit unclear about the fresh fried food, some of it is frozen. They say there's no cream on the Nerano, but I think there's a hint of something there. The scialatielli were a bit hard from cooking. Very attentive and fast service.

21/09/2025: I stopped by for lunch after visiting Villa Higi. The pasta and frites were delicious. The staff could do with a bit more effort...

12/03/2026: Pizza was amazing, I could taste the pizza. They could have made us wait less, but we were on a field trip and there were two classes: we're 15, the others were 20-something, so it was fair enough. The space upstairs was extremely tight, but above that, you could already walk around more easily. There was internet, but every time we tried to access the Wi-Fi, we were told it was impossible to connect. It could have been better, a passing grade was a bit of a no-brainer. Rating: 6+

26/02/2026: A Wednesday night experience. (One thing in particular left me speechless.) It was around 9:00 PM, and after walking around for a while, we found ourselves outside the pizzeria. Looking at the reviews, we weren't entirely convinced, but we were there, and we said, "Let's give it a try." The place was empty, with just one table occupied. What worried me was the quality of the ingredients, given the limited consumption. The potatoes on the pizza were still cold, and some were even hard (perhaps they had been defrosted poorly). The mozzarella bites were also cold and either low-quality or not fresh. Another pizza had ricotta cheese drizzles. The ricotta was practically runny. A: The croquettes were half hot and half cold. But the thing that left me most disconcerted was the water. It was basically a reusable, unsealed glass jug filled with water from the fountain, costing €3. Not even for the cost, but in a pizzeria with this name something like this is absurd, unsealed water, and looking at the menu it wasn't even there. Since I wasn't alone I preferred to let it slide but I will definitely never go there again.

23/01/2026: The place is very pleasant. The covered terraces, perfect for keeping warm during the winter, offer stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The food is remarkably good, arriving quickly and piping hot, made with high-quality local ingredients that allow you to experience authentic Campanian cuisine. International dishes are available for children. The service is excellent. The food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in a restaurant located next to such a popular tourist attraction.

25/10/2025: Mediocre but serviceable food. Grab a bite before seeing Pompeii, nothing much else to say.

22/11/2025: After the Vesuvius tour, on July 28th we had lunch in Pompeii. First we were at the La Vinicola restaurant, but we finally left there and found the “old kitchen” on the corner of Bartolo Longo square. After we arrived, a very, very nice signora welcomed us, she immediately brought us the drinks. The food was excellent, the linguine was delicious, the diavola pizza… We felt so good here that we came back here on the 30th, the nice lady was there, I had the diavola pizza then. I recommend this Antica Cucina

17/11/2025: Exquisite food, very friendly service, and an excellent location. I recommend the spaghetti alle vongole and the fried fish.

07/03/2026: Had the margarita pizza. Pretty large portion for only $8. Taste was about what you would expect. Would have it again!

07/03/2026: The food, service, and atmosphere were terrible. It was cold inside, and we were offered a choice of dishes, including some rather nauseating fried fish. The portions were tiny (when we asked for second helpings of fries, they were almost counted), and the fish seemed almost raw. The staff was almost always rude. This was definitely an experience we wouldn't repeat. It's worth noting that we were kids on a school trip who had to spend the entire afternoon walking.
