We spent a lovely day at the La Cartiera shopping center, where we booked a table at Fresco. I have to say, we were truly satisfied. Everything was excellent.

Pleasant restaurant where you can eat typical Neapolitan dishes and an excellent pizza, fast service and...very kind!

Very nice and friendly staff. The food was very good and cheap in comparison with other fast foods and restaurants.

My husband and I spent three days in Pompeii and found this restaurant on The Fork. It was such a wonderful discovery that we returned every day. The atmosphere is elegant and clean, and the staff is kind and attentive, making you feel at home. The food is excellent, whether meat, fish, or pizza. Everything is always delicious.

I stopped by to enjoy a pizza with friends, and what can I say, it was truly excellent! I'll definitely be back to try their Genovese!

We went to Fresco Trattoria in Pompeii on Easter Saturday evening, the whole family—with two children (6 and 2), so we're already starting with "important" expectations 😄 And instead... it was simply a perfect experience. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with a rare warmth: impeccable service, always present but never intrusive. Everyone was smiling, helpful, attentive to every detail. Genuine attention, the kind you can immediately sense. A special thanks to Mrs. Ilda: a sweet and thoughtful presence, capable of making both us adults and the children feel at ease, pampering us throughout the evening. Then the food... and here we enter another level. We decided to go for the great classics of Neapolitan cuisine: pasta with potatoes and provola, Genovese, pasta with tomato and provola, fried foods to share, and beers to accompany them. Every dish was simply incredible. Authentic, full, real flavors. The kind that make you close your eyes at the first bite. And that's not just a figure of speech: in the following days we tried other places... but each time the comparison was merciless. Fresco had already won everything. At the end of the dinner, we wanted to personally compliment the chef—and we would do it a hundred times over. Chef Pierangelo: young, talented, and with a truly special touch. He should be a name known far beyond Pompeii, because what he does is not just cook... he leaves an impression. The only shame was that we discovered they were closed for lunch on Easter Monday (and rightly so!), because we would have returned without a second thought. Instead, we "settled" elsewhere... to our great, great disappointment. What can I say... a place we will definitely return to, and one we would recommend to anyone without a doubt. Perfection, from start to finish. ❤️

After a nice stroll around the Cartiera, we stopped at Fresco for a bite to eat. The place is spacious, clean, and has a pleasant atmosphere (though a bit noisy). We waited about 5 minutes for a table, while the pizzas took almost 50 minutes to arrive (a lot depends on the day). The mixed fried pizza was good, although slightly bland, an impression we also had with some pizzas. The Margherita (€7) was an exception, where the tomato sauce was a bit too salty. A note on the pizza: the sausage and potatoes (€9) was a good 30% crust and had very little potatoes and sausage, which wasn't much appreciated. Cover charge and water are expensive, €2 for a paper placemat and a little more for 50cl of water. The menu is varied and includes several traditional dishes. The staff, however, was kind and helpful, but this time I wasn't satisfied.

We ate very well. All the staff were very kind. I couldn't help but give it 5 stars. ❤️
