16/06/2024: Il locale è abbastanza piccolo con pochi tavoli all'interno (noi siamo stati a marzo, ma di sicuro nei mesi più miti ci saranno tavoli anche all'esterno). La qualità degli ingredienti utilizzati uniti alla cortesia e simpatia del personale sono l'arma vincente del Ristorante Pizzeria BellaVista. I piatti, preparati sapientemente, avevano tutti un gusto esplosivo. A distanza di mesi ricordo ancora la pizza fritta napoletana: ritornerei anche solo per mangiarne un altro boccone. Ciò che apparentemente può sembrare un limite di questa struttura (mi riferisco ai pochi posti), secondo me, è ciò che la rende ancora più speciale, perché parla di un ambiente familiari e caloroso, oltre che agevolare lo chef: cucinare per pochi di sicuro è più semplice ed efficace che farlo per molti.

01/07/2024: This restaurant was fantastic. The food was amazing and really good value. Large portions! The tomato sauce for the pasta was one of the best we have ever had. The staff were so friendly and kind. 10/10.
21/06/2024: I visited the Pompeii ruins on a very hot day. I wanted to sit and have a good lunch. I searched and this restaurant was recommended on this site so I ventured and found it. The service was amazing! The recommendations were delicious and the wine was incredible. Highly recommend this place!!

Il Santuario - Ristorante e Pizzeria

30/06/2024: Siccome la location è da urlo, di fronte il Santuario, il locale molto bello e grande, il personale giovane, cordiale ed educato, bisognerebbe avere qualche accortezza in più nella preparazione delle pietanze che sono arrivate così cariche di condimento (lago di olio), da disturbarci seriamente l'intestino per il resto della giornata. Piccoli ma importanti accorgimenti che possono salvare il grande apparato ristorativo che è stato creato. Ad malora.

A real touch of local personality would be an asset.
When we ordered our grilled octopus it was unfortunately very tough.
A great effort must be made to improve the quality of the dishes as well as a slightly friendlier welcome.

21/08/2024: Excellent pizzas and sandwiches, fantastic welcome in the internal room but in particular I feel like honoring the boy at the window who is always super welcoming at any time, polite and able to raise a smile every time I pass by. Many compliments to him for the dedication and passion he puts into his work, but just as many also to the two girls who manage the internal room.
06/05/2024: Exhausted and hungry after hiking Vesuvius and seeing ruins of Pompei had 10 min to buy tickets and catch the train. The only place open was Pizzeria Jerome, so in a big rush we took two random pizzas/sandwiches to go. They were amazing, warm and delicious. The one with ricotta absolutely great. Probably saved us from a crisis along the journey to Naples in a busy train. The seller was also very kind and enthusiastic so overall 10/10 🫶

28/08/2024: Really a stone's throw from the excavations and the center, convenient parking at the back. Themed and well-maintained rooms with everything you need, excellent breakfast in a room on the 4th floor overlooking the excavations. Friendly and helpful staff.

15/03/2024: Chiiedo 3 coppette medie. Dopo aver pagato è consumato mi accorgo dal listino prezzi che mu erano state daye 3 coppette medie. Alla richiesta di spiegazioni mi viene risposto con evidente. Imbarazzo dalla commesso che x 50 cents mi ha dato quella piu grande.. Cosi..a caso... .rispondo scusi ma se uno la vuole piccola perche la date come volete voi? Sguardo perso nel vuoto... Cosi come la Risposta caduta nel vuoto. Fra laltro gelato nulla di che.

29/08/2024: While the food was okaaaay......much hassle with staff to do the a la carte thing. They are obviously an "all you can eat" business model so I had to clarify as soon as we walked in that we were only paying for what we ordered. They have these computers at your table where you order stuff. Everything going fine until someone (who actually spoke English) arrives at our table (after we've received food) to try and convince us that "all you can eat" for €28 is better value. He even does the math: we've spent €40 on food and wine that we want but somehow spending €28 x 2 + wine and water is meant to be a better deal! I think I had to say "no" about 10 times before he went away. Very unpleasant experience. Would not go back

05/08/2024: Truly absurd prices, truly poor quality, summer menu only includes starters and main courses. Despite the 50% discount from the fork and despite having ordered little or nothing, the price was absolutely not commensurate.
The bathroom is fantastic... you can't even get in and one hand fits in the sink at a time. Zero hand soap.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone
