12/11/2025: Let's start by saying I'm always reluctant to leave negative reviews, but when you get one wrong after another, it's inevitable. We called at 9:00 PM and asked to place a takeout order for 10:00 PM. We were told it wouldn't be possible before 10:30 PM, but we accepted without hesitation, understanding the difficulties that can arise on weekends. Without warning us of the delay, the driver showed up at 11:05 PM, and up until then we would have accepted it, so we paid and went home. We unboxed the order and wow, one sandwich was missing, the other three were frozen, the portion of fries was old and frozen, and the sandwiches were missing ingredients. I called the lady back, who answered so calmly: "Who are you? What are you missing?" (As if it were a known fact that they get orders wrong), and she told me she'd have the sandwich remade and that as soon as the driver returned, she'd send it to me. The icing on the cake? The lady called me back after five minutes, specifying that the missing sandwich needed to be paid for, without even saying, "Maybe I'll give it to you for free, or give you a discount for the inconvenience." Anyway, I paid or thanked her, and very politely, I was at peace, but we will definitely never choose Enjoy again!

30/03/2026: Last night I ordered an American pizza for takeout. It was my first time there, and I have to say I was completely satisfied with the price, the quality, and the pizza's cooking. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back.

13/04/2026: A historic village bar, a popular meeting place for a quick coffee or a relaxed aperitivo. We tried a new addition: the realistic fruit produced by a factory in Ottaviano and sold for €7 a portion. The coffee bean and hazelnut are truly TOP quality, while the pistachio is a bit bland and sweet, lacking that extra kick.

05/05/2026: We stayed at the Hotel Belvedere from May 1st to 3rd using a Smartbox gift card. Overall, the experience was satisfactory. The staff was generally friendly, although in some instances, we felt they were less than welcoming and overly attentive during breakfast, which can be uncomfortable for guests. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, certainly one of the hotel's strong points. However, the room was cold in the evenings, and there was no remote control to adjust the air conditioning. There was a blanket in the closet, but unfortunately, it was dusty and therefore unusable. As for breakfast, the overall quality was average. However, we encountered a management issue: products were not always replenished once they ran out. This meant that guests arriving later found a limited selection and had to make do with what was left. Furthermore, some products were inadequate: for example, the muffins were extremely hard, practically inedible. This type of arrangement can create inconvenience, especially for those with specific dietary habits, as they risk not finding suitable alternatives despite breakfast being included. A particularly critical aspect concerns evening arrangements: the facility closes at 10:00 PM and there is no reception staff at night. Access is via fingerprint registration at check-in. While this system may be convenient, it does leave some concerns regarding assistance: in case of need or emergency, it's unclear who to turn to.

03/05/2026: We stayed two nights with Smartbox. The hotel is well-maintained and renovated, with a spacious room and a large balcony overlooking the sea. Excellent service and a perfect breakfast. There's also a restaurant for dinner with a set menu, which is good and affordable. Private parking is limited and cramped; you have to look around, but it's free.

08/10/2025: Simply dreadful. We knew it would be a fairly simple place, but we didn’t expect it to feel this depressing. The room was old and extremely bare — no decoration, no charm, no sign of care. The “double bed” was actually two mattresses pushed together, which was uncomfortable. The shower was outdated and uninviting. The back balcony offered no privacy, as the only thing separating it from the neighboring ones were a few lazy leaves. Breakfast was bland and mostly consisted of stale pastries. After one night that felt more like staying in a monastery or a low-budget hostel in Central America, we decided to flee — even though we had booked three nights. I rarely write negative reviews, but we chose this place because of the glowing feedback online and honestly found little resemblance between that and reality.

30/09/2025: Quiet and beautiful location. Interesting building, carefully and functionally renovated. Simple but well-maintained room. Renovated bathroom. Water in the fridge and a kettle with tea and coffee are very welcome. The back patio is very pleasant, as are the pool and orchard. Breakfast is excellent in terms of quality, quantity, and variety. It would be great to have complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, provided in dispensers rather than disposable ones.

06/05/2026: Fantastic experience at Smav Unconventional! The venue has a unique atmosphere, meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, perfect for a unique evening. The food is top-notch: from the grilled meats to the pizza, you can taste the meticulous attention to detail behind every ingredient. The staff is welcoming, and the music is excellent. It's become a staple in Santa Maria a Vico, highly recommended!

29/12/2025: Weekend pizza. Pleasant atmosphere and live music, tasty pizza with average prices, except for the cover charge: €2.50 for a tablecloth and paper napkin, and tables under a canopy. Heating is okay, but still a canopy. €2 would be more than enough. As everywhere, a good average. So, for four people, the first €10 is gone. I don't think there was a surcharge for the musician; no one informed us, nor did we find it written on the menu. So that's what they charge to sit at their table and spend your money there.
