Excellent value for money and above all the kindness, courtesy and availability of the owners. Recommended!

I am happy to share my experience: the Da Mario Restaurant is one of those places that has managed to improve day after day over the years, with continuous innovations, without ever making a mistake. A welcoming and refined environment, combined with a truly high level of cuisine, especially when compared to the costs: unbeatable quality-price ratio. The proposal is wide and suitable for everyone: vegetarians, vegans, celiacs and children always find dishes designed for them. I appreciated the aubergine meatballs, the battered vegetables, the paccheri with pepper and ricotta cream, and the vegetarian pizzas like the Ortolana, all also available gluten-free. For the little ones there are burgers, chips, cutlets and baby-sized pizzas, perfect for every taste. And for birthday parties? There is also a dedicated room with entertainment, karaoke and music! The large outdoor terrace, enclosed by walls and plants, is ideal for children, who can move around safely. Accessibility is another strong point: ramps for strollers and disabled people, high chairs, attention to allergies, and free parking on the side or blue lines right in front of the venue. A place where tradition, innovation and attention to customers come together perfectly. Congratulations to all the staff!

06/05/2025: Abbiamo scelto la Pizzeria da Mario a Capua per la nostra serata di San Valentino, e non potevamo fare scelta migliore! Atmosfera calda, accoglienza impeccabile e – soprattutto – un nuovo menù che è una vera dichiarazione d’amore per chi ama la pizza d’autore. Abbiamo voluto provare due delle nuove proposte e siamo rimasti senza parole: io ho scelto la pizza con fiori di zucca e speck del Trentino e la mia ragazza ha optato per quella con mortadella e pesto di pistacchio fatto in casa. Semplicemente irresistibili. Il servizio è stato cordiale e puntuale, nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Una vera eccellenza del territorio, assolutamente da provare. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare: da Mario non si mangia solo una pizza, si vive un’esperienza!

01/03/2025: Disappointing experience We were in this place with three people and, as soon as we arrived, they hastily told us that everything was booked and that we could only stay until 9-9.30pm (it was 8pm). We accepted anyway and ordered two glasses of wine, a Coca-Cola and a medium platter. Unfortunately, the service was terrible right from the start. Coca-Cola was served with a plastic cup (why?) resting on the cap (also unhygienic), while another customer with a Fanta was brought a glass cup with a straw. Different treatment, for no reason. The waitress tried to take away the cutting board before we had finished eating, and when we went out for a moment to smoke, the owner cleared the entire table without even asking, even taking away the still half-full Coca-Cola. At the time of the bill, we paid €30, of which: €10 for two glasses of wine (€5 each) €2 for Coca-Cola (which they threw away) €15 for a meager platter (it was worth a maximum of 10/12 euros exaggerating), with a few slices of cured meat, four triangles of cheese and some olives €3 added without any explanation, passed off as "cover charge" in a place that isn't even a restaurant. In addition to the exaggerated prices for the quantity of food and the quality of the service, we were practically kicked out without even a minimum of courtesy. Too bad, because it could have been a nice place, but with this attitude it doesn't deserve a second chance.

20/04/2025: I went to this pizzeria following my brother's advice and I must say that I was really satisfied! Considering I got them to take away they were really good! The perfect cooking: well cooked and not burnt, quality ingredients, but the most important thing is the super light dough, I would have eaten another one, digestible and tasty. I will definitely come back to eat it on the plate. congratulations, I highly recommend going there.

27/04/2025: Nothing to say, very good starters especially the Garden bruschetta with octopus and beans, fried prawns and calamari with battered vegetables in my opinion (obviously this is subjective) the best in Mondragone, a tiramisu with a sublime cocoa wafer. 19/05/2025: Terrible staff management with courses bordering on the ridiculous in terms of portions, but the worst is that each course arrives after every 3/4 of an hour making you believe that you have eaten your fill. But the truth is that you leave there after 7 hours but in the end you are hungrier than before. I would like to tell the owners that putting poor inexperienced and underpaid guys to work repays the service you have offered us in a worse way, and it is useless to say that today it was like this because it was packed, because if you know that you cannot offer a service to a certain number of people you get fewer reservations. But evidently they want to have their cake and eat it. Ah, the tables were worse placed than a cheap all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant and the poor waiters had a hard time getting through... But whatever. BAD EXPERIENCE. NEVER AGAIN!
