29/06/2025: Unfortunately, after the last restyling, it has lost its charm. Casa Albero was not only food, but a comfortable environment with a board on the commandments of wine, which each time inspired a smile and reflection, because after all it was not just about wine. I understand that it is a time of boom in customers, but you can't eliminate an open kitchen and strip the walls of those same furnishings that together with good food gave a few hours of pure pleasure, for what? Yes, the food is always excellent, but the room is now insipid, bare, and when there are too many people the service inevitably drops because you find yourself with two waiters of dubious competence (no offense to the owner, but I have been repeatedly bumped into by hands and plates, and he ends up paying for their low competence). Recommended but, I repeat, only for the good food.

14/07/2025: Excellent, very nice place, even if it's a bit far from the center. Luckily they have a parking lot further ahead because it's almost impossible to park there. We were there for an event and had appetizers, a first course, and a second course. The appetizer was good, with dry fried food and nice large pieces. The arancini were very good, well-made, and the panzerotto was also good. The pizza, always served in a starter dish, was really excellent. The mussels with croutons were really good, the fried anchovies were excellent. The first course, which was a paccheri with seafood, was really good. The only flaw was the second course, the fried shrimp and calamari. The shrimp were good, the calamari were firm, but overall everything was really good. I didn't have dessert because they forgot to bring the birthday cake, which is understandable. For a table of 60 people, I was the last in line. It can happen. The cake wasn't necessary anyway, since it was brought from outside, at least I think so, because it looked good, considering that the person next to me had devoured it. 😂 Bitter good, the The owner is kind and super courteous, the staff is very kind and always present even if there is a small flaw, the customer is always right even if he is rude you always have to respond well because you will not see him every day, but they were very kind whatever you asked they brought it to you compliments to all the staff, definitely to return.

13/07/2025: After booking for 9.30pm we managed to get in at 11.10pm to finally be able to eat a pizza for 12.45am, after this long wait some pizzas were wrong others very salty an experience to forget

06/07/2025: The worst restaurant I’ve been in my last 5 years . Tra i peggiori ristoranti che abbiamo cenato negli ultimi 5 anni . Abbiamo ordinato una bistecca fiorentina e hanno avuto il coraggio di portarci un osso alto 8 centimetri di una bistecca già consumata da altri e di fianco vari pezzi di carne di vario tipo . E’ stata una cosa terribile . Non l’abbiamo mangiata affatto e alle nostre lamentele ci hanno detto che non capivamo niente di cagne . Il pane era umido e molliccio , per avere olio e sale abbiamo dovuto ricordarglielo 5 volte . Servizio pessimo . Evitate di andare se non volete essere presi per i fondelli . Il conto ?? 110 € per una bistecca non mangiata per poi essere anche accusati di non capire niente di bistecche fiorentine , io che ho vissuto 13 anni a Firenze. Se non volete essere truffati da questi lestofanti , evitate di fermarvi lì . A 100 metri c’è un altro ristorante che merita in termini di qualità , servizio e cortesia . IL RIFUGIO e’ stato un incubo . Vomitevole

16/06/2025: Terrible experience. After ordering, a lady from the staff invited us to sit at the outside tables. Shortly after, another employee stopped us rudely, saying that there was a cover charge, and we calmly and politely replied that we would pay it. Despite this, he treated us arrogantly and even insulted us by calling us "gypsies", just because according to him we wanted to save money (among other things, we had also left the bill open so he could have easily added the cover charge later). It is absurd to be treated like this while you bring money to their place. Shameful behavior, and unacceptable, this way you don't work. Respect comes first.

16/06/2025: We came to this pizzeria with some friends, just to eat something together in peace. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but pleasant. As soon as we arrived, we approached the window to choose what to get. We ordered pizzas and were sitting where they had indicated. At the end, they made inappropriate comments to us, insinuating that we were there only to "save money" and even going as far as making a veiled and discriminatory accusation, calling us "gypsies". We were shocked. None of us had ever been disrespectful or done anything wrong: we were just trying to eat a pizza. Such an attitude is unacceptable in any public activity. It was offensive, humiliating and deeply disrespectful. I highly discourage this place. It's not just about food: it's about respect. And here, unfortunately, we didn't find even a gram of it.

19/07/2025: Truly terrible service; the waiter seemed annoyed by my and my girlfriend's presence. There were some real incidents that I usually let slide, when and if they happen, because I realize that being a waiter is a difficult and stressful job. But what really drove me crazy was the fact that, when we were presented with the bill in a sort of booklet, he opened said booklet at the table in front of us to check the money. I understand the need to check, but it would have been enough to move two meters or at least avoid doing it at our table in front of us. A vulgar and disrespectful gesture. The place was half-empty outside and empty inside. We sat at our table two and a half hours before closing. Very good pizzas, frozen fried foods but acceptable, price in line (just over €20 per person for appetizers, two pizzas, two beers, and water); terrible service.

14/06/2025: I took 3 takeaway pizzas a few nights ago. I saw the prices on their official menu. The pizzas arrive and they force me to pay 18.00 euros for the porcina pizza. Unfortunately I will never take anything from them again. It's absurd.

19/07/2025: Super fresh fish and friendly staff, a wide selection of daily catches, and excellent beverages, including house wine. The location in the city center is also beautiful. Recommended for an intimate dinner.

24/07/2025: If I could give less than one star, I would. The charcuterie board was absolutely shoddy and out of date; I buy packaged cured meats from the supermarket. A slice of Margherita pizza taller than the Leaning Tower of Pisa, in fact, raw inside, and I won't even comment on the Parisian pizza. I'd rather not continue the review because I'd waste every vacation day at the keyboard trying to comment on this "lounge bar." P.S.: If you pass by, avoid the bar and the waitress; she'll tell you where to go if you try to sit down.

21/07/2025: The young man who served the food was polite and kind, but unfortunately not at all like his colleague. Definitely rude, surly, and unwelcoming, she made us feel quite uncomfortable. Too bad The food was good, but the prices were high.

23/07/2025: We stopped by for a lunch during the trip in Capri, that was late March, just before the season opening so there weren't many places open yet. Al Capri was recommended by our Italian tour guide. The place is specious with lots of tables available, clean, with breath-taking views, decorated in Mediterranean style which is very welcoming. We ordered pizza and spaghetti al limone. That was best spaghetti I've had in Italy during the whole stay. The pizza was good, it didn't make in the top 3 out of 10 we tried though. Good selection of wine. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was served in timely manner. The places has lots to offer, including the beautiful decor and views, good food and location- it's off the main square so it's not so crowded but still close La piazetta.

18/07/2025: Attirati dalla musica romantica di un bravo pianista live, ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante a pochi passi dalla famosa piazzetta di Capri. Subito accolti con gentilezza siamo stati accompagnati al tavolo a noi assegnato. Il nostro cameriere Angelo ( di nome e di fatto ) ci ha consigliato e coccolato. Il mio “Fusillone ai frutti di mare” è stato a dir poco sublime. Vista spettacolare e atmosfera incredibile. Super consigliato! Nancy B.

16/06/2025: Total disorganization unqualified staff especially the lady and her daughter who manage zero competence very neglected place dirt in the bathrooms a dress both the lady and her daughter seemed like cleaning ladies not to mention the tasteless and poor quality food I could stretch by far a location to avoid... They show me the sky sea and mountains and then they have nothing!
