We were warmly welcomed by the waitress, a friendly and experienced person who also recommended an excellent wine, as she's a sommelier. We trusted her and were completely satisfied. The dishes were truly delicious, but most importantly, they listened and were able to accommodate my partner's needs, as she has celiac disease. We will definitely be back next season.

Our first evening in Castellammarre di Stabia and we found this gem of a restaurant. Perfectly placed for watching the sunset but what topped watching the day end was the wonderful cuisine and service offered here at Vanilla. The food is delicious, beautifully presented with wonderful service by this truly family run restaurant. The chef personally serves your chosen dish which was lovely which added to this special evening. We just couldn't leave once finished, so chose to have a few glasses of wine whilst soaking up the wonderful atmosphere. A must visit if you are staying in this area.

Second visit in a week. The food is great but the service is lacking on the second visit. We were amused when we were given an ice bucket for the red wine, but after that the service deteriorated. After our plates had been cleared and our wine drunk we waited over 30 minutes for them to ask if we wanted coffee or dessert. Nobody came, so when someone actually appeared at the next table we just asked for the bill and left. Such a shame as we had a good experience on the first visit and were even planning our third. If there was a problem behind the scenes, it does not hurt to explain to your patrons.

It's delicious and pretty quick. We walked in and just sat down because it's nice. The service is okay, and we didn't have to wait long for the food. It's a good place to eat. It's not bad.

The staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and always there with a smile – you immediately feel welcome and completely at ease. The ice cream? Simply world-class! Super creamy, perfectly balanced in flavor, and noticeably high quality – you can taste the quality with every spoonful. The drinks aren't just "okay," they're truly top-notch: lovingly prepared, perfectly served – a delight from coffee to cocktails! Here you can see: Onda Verde 2000 is run with passion. 29/01/2026: A nice sit down location before taking a tour of Pompeii. Had a quick sandwich for fuel, it was fine.
23/01/2026: The place is very pleasant. The covered terraces, perfect for keeping warm during the winter, offer stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The food is remarkably good, arriving quickly and piping hot, made with high-quality local ingredients that allow you to experience authentic Campanian cuisine. International dishes are available for children. The service is excellent. The food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in a restaurant located next to such a popular tourist attraction.
