In the apparently tiny dimensions of the kitchenette from Varca, dishes of supreme goodness are created. All accompanied by the exquisite hospitality of Vittorio, a true example of kindness and helpfulness. The cuisine is of an absolute level, the wine list ranges over a quantity of references with few shortcomings, from economical proposals to real valuable gems. The cold cuts and cheese counter alone is worthy of an entire meal, as there are so many quality products present.

15/05/2025: I have a wonderful experience at this resturant with my husband and 2 kids. The owner Francesco is amazing! We ordered frescha pizza and chicken rotisserie with fries. This man is so hospitable. They had just started cooking and while we were waiting he kept giving us free fried food from the shop. First time in Italy. First time in this area and resturant and he has our hearts. Thank you so so so much for your kindness! And what amazing food. So so fresh and delicious

12/03/2025: Lo sconsiglio , poca professionalità e prezzi lievitati in base alle persone, se sei del posto oppure no, classico furbetto, prezzi non esposti e quindi ne approfitta . Se proprio volete andarci, Chiedete tutti i prezzi prima di ordinare , se non volete fregature . P.s. Ah per legge i prezzi devono essere esposti !

16/06/2025: Thank you for making our weekend visit to Salerno exceptional. Walked in late with no reservation and we were treated with respect and kindness. Of course that’s secondary to the fresh seafood and homemade pasta all in a relaxed environment with friendly staff. Perfect place to enjoy some quality family time after a long day at the beach!

06/06/2025: English: Once a very well-stocked bar, almost a pastry shop, as you can still see from the photos on social media. Now unfortunately it has become an ordinary bar, even poorly stocked. The online menu has not been updated for 2 years giving the illusion that things have not changed, in my opinion a post should be made on social media reporting the change or the quiescence phase, for correctness and transparency. Instead it almost seems like they are leaving it like this to continue advertising themselves. The only flavors available for the croissants were white chocolate and Nutella (not even pistachio, which I would probably have found at the bar later) with some half snacks as a garnish. We ordered milkshakes (they were on the online menu), and they brought frothed milk with Nutella (the milkshake is made with ice cream), extremely sweet. Paid €3.50. It would have been more honest to admit that you couldn't do it rather than pass it off as a milkshake. We ordered a latte macchiato: tiny glass, with a woodworm and coffee beans inside. A normal coffee instead paid €1.30. The very kind girl tried to accommodate us and all in all the croissants were well filled, but it is no longer the place it once was. The review is intended to warn of this change. Also completely absent vegan options except for soy milk.

26/04/2025: Esperienza pessima al “Pollo d’Oro”. Siamo andati in otto, fidandoci dei consigli della cameriera, che in modo poco onesto ci ha “proposto” 4 taglieri con due fettine di carne ciascuno, senza chiarire i prezzi. Risultato? Un conto assurdo di 370 euro per una semplice trattoria che non ne vale assolutamente la pena.dopo la nostra lamentela ci hanno restituito 70 euro. Qualità del cibo nella media, servizio ambiguo e totale mancanza di trasparenza. Sconsigliato: ci siamo sentiti presi in giro. Mai più.

28/06/2025: Masseria with a characteristic outdoor garden, with covered areas under a canopy that does not. Nice parking spaces created under vine pergolas. The interior furnishings are a bit too classic. Very familiar atmosphere, welcoming and kind owners. The home-made food has conquered our palates, especially because many products are self-produced.

02/05/2025: Happened almost by chance. A pleasant surprise. Really good food and larger portions that plentiful. Polite staff available to explain the individual dishes; especially in the person of Raffaella, the very kind and knowledgeable waitress who explained and suggested the various dishes on the menu for the entire duration of the dinner. We ate an appetizer of mixed local goat's cheeses that were truly excellent. First courses of fresh pasta (spaghetti alla Giovanniello, gnocchi with porcini mushrooms), delicious!!!. Not to mention the very soft and tasty tagliatelle and entrecote; all accompanied by a divine focaccia. Family atmosphere. If you want to taste real home-made food this is definitely the right place. As for the cost of dinner, I would say that the price is more than honest. Quality, price and quantity, I would give a good 10+. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended....

15/06/2025: Restaurant on the port of Bacoli with an outdoor veranda. Quality and seasonality of the raw materials. Courteous and always available staff. Excellent quality/price ratio. Municipal parking about 100 meters away. The port area is ZTL. Definitely a place to try. The freshness of the fish will leave you speechless. We will be back!

18/07/2025: We went to Greece for our wedding anniversary, where we were welcomed and pampered. A true Greek taverna, everything cooked with passion and skill, with excellent ingredients, many of which are imported directly from Greece. As are the traditional beers, wines, and liqueurs. We will definitely return to this corner of Greece in Irpinia 🇬🇷💙
