10/08/2024: Siamo andati per caso , Era vicino Al'albergo.... Che dire ? Un accoglienza Come se fosse un 5 stelle , un cibo fatto a casa , un ambiente da morire di risate... 03/09/2024: Their Limoncello Spritz Aperitivo is a must try! best authentic carbonara, spaghetti vongole to die for and their mixed shellfish with pasta (I forgot the name) was all wonderful! An 11 out of 10 rating for sure! Friendly staff and their overall service was great! Will have a meal there again before we leave Sorrento!

29/07/2024: I have eaten here twice while staying up the hill from Pimonte town centre. Once in the restaurant itself (well in the lovely tranquil courtyard outside the very nicely laid-out restaurant) and also in the main piazza down the hill where they will bring your food after you order it to you there from the kitchen. Despite what other reviews have said, it's a two minute walk, if that, to Joia itself up a fairly steep lane but you are in the hills above the beautiful Amalfi/Sorrento Coast so what do you expect? Stop whining! I had a burger both times, the first was with buffalo mozzarella, rocket and prosciutto. The second time was the 'Joia' which is like an English breakfast in a bun, with a fried egg and bacon and Lettuce with a lovely relish. Both of which were out of this world for taste and value for money. I'm also Coeliac so never eat burgers when I'm out at home in London, but Elisabetta the brilliant chef has gluten-free buns which is fantastic and having had gluten-free bread on prescription for nearly 30 years it was by far the best I've tasted. Thanks so much to Elisabetta and her Sister, Francesca, for two fantastic meals and also the young man who takes orders in the piazza and runs up and down the hill to get the food.....sorry I can't remember your name. Leave them a decent tip because they all thoroughly deserve it! A unique place, with top drawer food. 👍❤️

01/08/2024: Nothing to say about the octopus with puree and the calamarata (even if there was cheese...), but I don't give a higher score for some things that can be fixed without problems: the menu of the day is displayed outside, as is the 'another menu of everything they do (three pages), but it is not given at the table, nor is there the possibility of reading it better on the internet. And what about the prices? When I asked the waiter, he told me that he would go and read them to tell me, but I preferred to go and take a photo... of the menu of the day, which we discovered was not exactly the only menu just by looking at the others customers who ate something else. So you don't know how much you will pay unless you learn the menu by heart and that's not good. 2 euros for a cover charge are really too much for a paper tablecloth and two cutlery rolled up in an equally paper napkin. We weren't even told that there was self service available. Approximate information. Even the price of the calamarata and the octopus, 16 euros each, although good, is too high.

19/07/2024: what can i say this snack bar is a little Gem and is SOOOOOO Much more than a snack bar. The food it totally amazing and Angelo, Matilda, Giovanna and Caterina cannot do enough for you to make your visit special and enjoyable. Oh an the rose wine is just to die for. You will not be disappointed at all.

13/07/2024: Best bruschetta ever would highly recommend. The staff were amazing and so was the atmosphere. Would recommend we will definitely be coming back.

16/07/2024: Very small place. But as they say, good wine comes in small packages. Quality ingredients at very affordable prices. I recommend trying it, perhaps during the week, avoiding weekends as the waiting times could be medium-long.

09/03/2024: Ho provato il vostro panino molto volte nel corso degli ultimi 7 anni e ogni volta esco sempre più soddisfatto. Il proprietario una persona molto simpatica, rapporto qualità prezzo davvero davvero ottimo. Per un panino veloce e buono nella zona assolutamente il migliore. Vi auguro di restare sempre così e di non abbassare la qualità. Il panino migliore della zona Vesuviana. Grandissimi.

25/08/2024: I was almost succumbed to the great outdoor atmosphere of the shops lining the seaside, but I thought, ``This is my last dinner in Naples, and I want to eat delicious food at a restaurant that seems to be frequented by locals!'' I came here with a single intention. When I entered the store, there were no customers, so I guess I made a mistake. However, I was comforted by the friendly staff and ordered two beers, caprese, fried squid and artichokes, and two pasta dishes. The food that arrived was as bright as the photo, and the octopus and squid were actually plump, and the taste was generally bland so as not to overpower the flavor of the ingredients, but the flavor spread in your mouth...it was truly delicious. I did ❤️ The price is around €70, which is reasonable considering the contents. I regret that I should have come sooner. I definitely want to go there again when I go to Naples.
