15/05/2025: Incredible!!! We've enjoyed excellent aperitivos here twice already. The low price doesn't reflect the outstanding quality of the authentic food. The ambiance and the very friendly staff made the evening a highlight. Thank you for that!

11/05/2025: This restaurant is not worth visiting. Food is overpriced and simply not good (served on plastic (!) plates )- same goes for the service - waiters are buzzing around you constantly, talking on their walkie-talkies like they are in a swat team (mind that at the time only 3 tables were taken) making it impossible to enjoy the meal (not that there is much to enjoy). Stay away for your own good.

22/05/2025: It wasn’t too noisy, the service was very attentive, and the food was delicious! Firstly, they gave a complimentary entree of the tropea onion, which was very nice. I also very much enjoyed the tropea salad. This massive portion of carbonara was only 10 euro and was just what I needed. They offered me a complimentary digestive at the end of the meal as well. There is a 2 euro cover per person, so you know. This meal was very wholesome, the portions were great, ambiance was lovely and service top notch. Thanks so much everyone for such a special dinner. I will be back!

06/06/2025: We had a fish-based dinner, with abundant and delicious dishes, starting from the cuttlefish salad, passing through the fantastic tonnarelli cacio e pepe with lime sers and shrimp, to try once in a lifetime. The dessert was also above average. Compliments to the cook and the entire staff.

06/06/2025: Osteria located in a pleasant position in a small alley in the center of Tropea. Personally I would not follow the enthusiastic reviews, nor the slams I read on Google about this establishment: it is simply a place where the quality of the dishes is not up to the prices imposed. While the house appetizer was decent, but nothing exceptional, with the obligatory soppressata and nduja, the gnocchi with octopus ragù were a real disappointment: the flavor of the octopus, otherwise insipid, disappeared completely immersed in a sea of ​​acidic tomato sauce and something else that I could not identify but that could have seemed yogurt. A little better the ricotta and nduja ravioli, but these too were submerged by liters of sauce, better done, but still too much. The wine was excellent: a quality Ciro Bianco

28/03/2025: Locale molto bello, comodo da raggiungere nella zona turistica, i prezzi sono giusti (bassi se paragonati agli strozzinaggi perpetrati a tropea) , abbiamopreso da bere elemosinando le attenzionidelle cameriere impegnate a ciarlare tra loro, ed abbiamo preso dei panini che in tutta onestà erano da pasto caritas. Le cameriere di sala, tre sorelle spagnole, un po' antipatichelle, spesso maleducate e sfrontate. Non tornerei solo per questo. 3 stelle solo per la bellezza del locale

15/12/2024: Solía tener un bocado en este plac durante muchos años cuando visité Tropea que estaba aquí con mi familia y ser yo mismo. Y decidí tomar un bocadillo esta vez, pero la pizza era absolutamente repugnante y se quemó. Inmediatamente tuve un sabor terrible y quemé pizza en la basura. Crocchette di patate era bueno. Pero pizza... horrible.

10/06/2025: I stayed close to this restaurant on my visit so I passed them all the time. They always smiled and said hi & even though there was a language barrier; everyone was so nice to my pups & I. I had to try the pizza, which was fantastic. The atmosphere and the people truly make this place great.

07/06/2025: We came across this place by accident - it's located off the main streets of Tropea. After trying a few recommended pizzerias, this one definitely beats them all. The pizza is truly local and Italian. In addition, the service was very friendly and helpful.

24/01/2025: Ottime pizze con ingredienti di prima scelta... Inoltre trovate le pinse ed il kebab. Difficile restare insoddisfatti. Possibile affidarsi anche alla "pizza del pizzaiolo".

05/01/2025: Una volta seduti c è stato comunicato che nn era possibile consumare un cono gelato al tavolo, ma solo da asporto... quindi se avete bambini che voglono un cono gelato andate altrove. Ho diviso la brioche con mia figlia metà vuota e una pallina di gelato nell altra metà...alla.modica cifra d 6 euro!!!!!nn consigliato!

22/05/2025: If you want to visit Tropea, after a winding road, there's no other choice than to stop at the Marina campsite (during this time of May) for €23 per day with the Asci card. It's certainly not luxurious, but it offers the bare minimum: toilet, shower, waste disposal, pizzeria, and access to the beach. Of course, given the impressive number of campers, promiscuity is guaranteed, and the water pressure in the showers is noticeable in the evening. So no need to get upset... some pitches (near the beach) are difficult to maneuver, and they don't accept credit cards. Otherwise, at the foot of the stairs leading up to Tropea (restaurant, bar, pastry shop, grocery store, and a great view in the evening). In short, it's up to you.

22/05/2025: The campsite has a great location, right on the beach, below the stairs leading up to Tropea. The restaurant is okay, with a great view of the sea and the sunset. Otherwise, the site offers nothing. The sanitary facilities are very old, and many are broken. Water leaks from the drains, and some faucets and toilets don't flush. There's no toilet paper (not even at the entrance) and no soap. The floor seems to be mopped occasionally; I don't know when the basins were last cleaned; they're constantly dirty. The hot water for the showers only works at the set times if you're showering alone. If several people are showering, there's only a little, trickling water with fluctuating temperatures. Anyone who describes otherwise here hasn't been to this site, or I can't understand or believe the reviews. If someone tells me I should change my travel style, I say: I've been camping all over Europe for 56 years. Toilet paper isn't important, but when my feet get wet while brushing my teeth because the fixtures are so broken, I wonder if the operators are doing the right job. The cold shower water, the dirt, and the hygienic conditions don't match my camping experience! Not even in Southern Europe. Sorry. P.S. Based on the response, you can see how the operator really reacts to his guests: obviously unfriendly and arrogant.

04/06/2025: Bad ! Don't get fooled by dutch reviews s , probably they don't know what a good Italian food is even thou I feel bad saying that.😁 nth to do with a Italian trattoria, pizza was terrible made , and the mussels and other sea products we tried were dry and tastles.

03/06/2025: Perfect for an aperitif with a view. Very good cocktail. The platter is nothing exceptional, but certainly more varied than the others in the area, which only offer chips and taralli.

01/05/2025: We passed by chance one evening, we found this very welcoming place, with beautiful lamps that create a magical atmosphere, we tasted some typical local dishes, I recommend trying the tropeana, spaghetti with pistachio and red prawns, the seafood platter, homemade platter and also the delicious fried squid and prawns, everything was excellent, especially the cleanliness and the hospitality of the staff, I recommend it to everyone...

30/12/2024: One of the few places you can reserve with google ! It was awesome ! Location out of a movie set. Bruschetta appetizer with buffalo mozzarella was unreal . I ordered a frutti di mare and it was awesome . Only letdown was my daughter’s swordfish crusted with sesame seeds . I’m sure they probably would have .. but we didn’t bother

07/10/2024: How can a small shop on a cul-de-sac put so much love into its food? Incredibly delicious and so artistically prepared!! It's interesting how ingredients fit together that you can't even imagine together. Simply delicious 🤤

18/05/2025: Si inizia molto male… Cameriere molto scortese. Ho anche dovuto pietire il pane assente sulla tavola. Inoltre il cameriere non ha rispettato la comanda. Una delle due fritture miste (carissime e scarse come quantità: vedi foto) avrebbe infatti dovuta essere senza alici. Lo sono state entrambe. Scarsa scelta delle portate (v. foto). Inalata di mare da 16€ con almeno il 60% di verdure e ortaggi, il resto (meno del 40% del totale) di pesce (di ottima qualità). Bottiglie di acqua fatte in plastica. Unica nota positiva: bella location come buona parte delle altre adiacenti. Non ci torneremo più. Infine: sconto di 2 euro su oltre 150 euro pagati. Andremo altrove, vista la mia esperienza molto negativa.
