06/08/2026: Aside from the homemade pizzas, although the quality of the ingredients is questionable, the rest of the menu features frozen food. The explanation given is that they don't have a kitchen, only a pizza oven. You can definitely find better!

03/08/2026: I absolutely do not understand the bad reviews about this restaurant. We were looking for Neapolitan-style pizzas in the city, but after the bad experience, we decided to try the one with a different dough. Our opinion is very positive about both the food and the service. The pizza dough and the sauce were both delicious and tasty. Despite the picture, the dough was airy and pleasant. The lady serving us was very kind and helpful. She indicated to us that the sun would soon shine on our chosen table and offered to move us to another one where it would not be hot, or move us inside if we wanted. A real small, family-friendly, cute place.

28/05/2026: Good location, easy to reach the center and the sea on foot, then there is also a shuttle service to the sea, video-monitored parking and very kind and professional staff. Last night was a fantastic evening with dinner and typical Calabrian music, I have to compliment all the staff, very good.

21/05/2026: A well-run establishment. Friendly, efficient, clean, and well-maintained. Its proximity to the lively town center and the beautiful grounds are particularly noteworthy. However, in keeping with the region, the breakfast places a heavy emphasis on sweets.

04/08/2026: Exceptional gelato, well-deserved three Gambero Rosso cones. The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind. The gelato is undeniably high-quality, and I was also pleasantly surprised by the cookies, which are excellent. I'm curious to try the chocolates; I'll do so next time.

02/01/2026: I was with friends for a post-dinner drink, and we chose this place based on past experiences that were neither praise nor infamy. We arrived at the place and were off to a bad start, with two people smoking inside the covered veranda. We attempted to order some gins from the long list available on the menu, but they promptly weren't available... After about 4-5 failed attempts at ordering gin, and one attempt at ordering a beer, where none of the 4 on the menu were available, we decided to let the waiter decide, indicating our tastes... My friends were a little luckier, but I received some real "fuel"... As long as I live, I will never set foot there again. Thank you and never again.

27/12/2025: A terrible spritz, all ice in a plastic cup. Paid €8 without a single crisp or appetizer. Outrageous.

13/07/2026: Total disappointment with the welcome, no friendliness, but the worst part was that my husband and I were sick for two days, vomiting and other things. We went for breakfast, and the cappuccino wasn't creamy; they made a latte and coffee, and a fried cannoli with cream that I've never had, so it tasted only of sugar, and the pastry seemed to have been fried days before. My husband had a cannoli that was terrible. Definitely disappointing, especially considering the high price. If I had read the reviews beforehand, I wouldn't have suffered or bought medication.

10/08/2026: We knew the restaurant's reputation, and what can we say...it was definitely confirmed! The chef offers traditional dishes with a touch of imagination that makes them unique, not to mention his original creations that left me speechless! I highly recommend the Jefferson exchanges with pistachios (the winning dish in a Michelin-starred chef competition): astonishing! In the dining room, the chef's father shares anecdotes behind the dishes on the menu that make them even more enjoyable.

10/07/2026: Pleasant atmosphere. Nice lady served us. We ordered 4 beers. I went to get the bill at the end. €40! €10 a beer (500ml bottle). The most expensive beer we have drunk in Italy.

23/08/2026: Terrible. We ordered eggplant meatballs that tasted like garlic meatballs. I understand the recipe calls for garlic, but the flavor was excessive. Not to mention the pasta with clams: it was a garlic, oil, and chili pepper pasta with rubbery clams; it tasted anything but fishy. Last but not least, the other pasta dish I ordered was a little stingy, which, of course, can happen. I was even asked if we'd like it remade, but it wasn't to my liking at all. The location is beautiful. What a shame about the food. They could do better.

23/08/2026: It's a shame we discovered this restaurant on our last day in Tropea. We had pizza for lunch and were incredibly satisfied, then reserved a table and decided to have dinner. The evening was a success: everything was fresh and deliciously prepared. The staff was fantastic, offering helpful advice, etc.—this is exactly what a real Italian restaurant should be like.

20/08/2026: The staff should be more cheerful, polite, and friendly. Apart from one girl who was a little more approachable, the rest seemed unwilling to work or treat customers with the respect and friendliness they deserve. We won't be back.

The ingredients are excellent, the dishes are beautifully presented, and they are exquisitely flavorful. Antonio, the owner, is attentive and friendly, as is Fabio, with whom it was a pleasure to chat. I will gladly return...

10/08/2026: I'm writing this review in Italian because, by a magical coincidence, or rather, simply because of the naturalness of the professionalism of the people who work at this restaurant, I ate something so delicious I've never had anywhere else during my travels in Italy, including Rome, Milan, Sicily, the Aeolian Islands, Venice, Genoa, and many, many other regions. I ordered three dishes: pasta with pine nuts, pizza with Tropea parmesan, and, for dessert, a cheesecake. To say I enjoyed it would be an understatement. It was so delicious I closed my eyes and wasn't even ashamed to make a sound. And when I was already at the top, they turned on the music in the restaurant and Francesco Gabbani, whose concert I recently attended in Vigevano, started playing... everything came together in an instant, even the lyrics of the song "Spazio Tempo"... I practically burst into tears... I won a silver medal in boxing at the 1997 Ukrainian Championships. Thank you so much, guys. You are the best!

02/08/2026: I was unfortunate enough to visit this place, and the experience was decidedly disappointing. During the evening, we ordered a bottle of wine, which was duly taken care of, but was never actually brought to our table. Despite our requests, the staff demonstrated complete inattention and poor organization in managing our orders. Mistakes can happen, but the complete lack of customer service and the lack of apologies or explanations make this place unsuitable. We definitely won't be returning. Not recommended!!

21/07/2026: A typical local focaccia shop, offering a wide selection of focaccias, panzerotti, and more. Also recommended as an alternative to the Riviera's more upscale establishments, for slightly cooler summer evenings.
