05/01/2024: Già stata in questa gelateria in estate e ci sono tornata in occasione delle luminarie natalizie. Riconfermo l'eccellenza dei prodotti e la gentilezza della proprietaria insieme allo staff. 5 stelle e sono poche!
28/12/2023: Few times have I tried a brioscia with tuppo with ice cream that was honestly so good. The dough was beautifully soft and leavened, while the ice cream was divine. You could feel the intrinsic freshness of the ingredients. Compliments in particular for the almond and pistachio flavours. Jewels for the taste buds. The prices are very honest, both for the small and large brioche. I will definitely go back as soon as possible

02/04/2024: Excellent pub/restaurant to stop in after a visit to the fantastic city of Tropea. Dishes up to expectations, central location and friendly staff.
24/03/2024: The service is very friendly and it is mainly available in 4 languages (Italian, English, German, sign language). The food is very tasty and tastes great. We're still in Tropea for another week and in addition to Aranchini and gelato, we'll definitely end the day in the evening.

15/10/2023: Non consigliato. Due pizze e una bottiglia d’acqua 30€ con un coperto di 2,50 a testa.
Le pizze avevano un condimento abbastanza crudo e i camerieri sembravano in ansia…

19/03/2024: We stayed here two nights. Very abundant and varied breakfast, professional and helpful staff, impeccable service.
We also took advantage of the massage and facial mask package: very relaxing.
Highly recommended hotel.

04/04/2024: Our favorite place in all of tropea, we visited everyday we were here. Amazing friendly people serving freshly caught fried seafood. Highly recommend trying any of their fried options and also their tuna sandwich was easily one of the best things we’ve had there.

29/10/2023: Wonderful traditional food in Tropea!
17/10/2023: At some tables there was a drink, bread and a cruet set, some tables at least received bread, for me there was nothing at all.
The Carbonare ai frutti di mare had so much pepper on it that I barely tasted the fish and seafood. Since there was so much pepper on it, I wouldn't have needed the cruet set anyway. 🤣.
The serving girl didn't look particularly motivated and served poorly. While I'm pouring water into my glass, it's a bad time to take away the empty plate.
But the location is nice, I sat in an old entrance hall, but they also have tables inside the restaurant.

04/04/2024: Food and service was just average at best. Tourist trap basically.
01/04/2024: We ate in this restaurant at the end of August, a nice girl welcomed us; after having made us sit down, however, we were served at the table by another waitress, who after making a bad impression by asking personal questions, first took the plate away from my partner while she was still eating (literally) and then started muttering something in dialect Calabrian every time he approached the table.
They fooled people into thinking they could choose the lobsters from the aquarium, but once they took them out of the water they took a quick trip to the kitchen and then went out the back and as if nothing had happened they put them back in their place.
It took us less time to eat than to pay, we had to tell the owner that we were in a hurry to go and she in response, with a grimace, said that she was working.
The pizza chef and the waitress who welcomed us are the only two employees I would save, but starting from the owner and then arriving at the bigoted and rude waitress I would kick everyone in the ass.
I understand that it is complex to understand all this, it is also complex for me to explain it in writing, but what happened is madness.
The place was recommended to us, we do not recommend it to anyone!
I'm Southern, but these are the characters that feed the Southern stereotype.
That said,
If "this is love", after being with you I can say that you don't know what love is, for food, respect for people, respect for customers and so on and so forth.
Any advice guys?
if you want to eat a pizza, there are hundreds of pizzerias in Tropea.
