26/05/2025: Contacted by phone for some clarifications regarding the location Rough and rude staff, I immediately interrupted the telephone conversation. Zero availability

17/05/2025: Terrible experience from the first contact! I didn't even have the "pleasure" of staying at this hotel, and thank goodness! My only contact was by phone, via WhatsApp, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the most unpleasant conversations I've ever had. The staff was extremely rude and impolite, answering my simple questions arrogantly, almost as if I was bothering them. Every request for information was met with a surly tone and zero availability. No professionalism, no courtesy, just dry and rude answers. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can't even imagine what the welcome in the hotel must be like. Definitely a bad business card. I can't judge the rooms, but the attitude of the staff is already reason enough to avoid this place. Look elsewhere if you want to be treated with respect and professionalism. Also when the arrogance was pointed out to the staff I received this response:

04/06/2025: Dont go to the restaurant. We had just drinks, no foods and couvert 2€ for person. Are you serious? No way! Never more!!!! Cheaters!

02/06/2025: We went to this restaurant, identified among the many in the area, attracted by the proposal of the first course of the day "tagliolini with prawns, cherry tomatoes and stracciatella". Once seated we ordered: mussels with pepper, fried calamari and prawns, a mixed seafood appetizer, the first courses mentioned above as well as paccheri allo scoglio and we immediately moved on to the dessert "tartufo di pizzo". All the fish was super fresh, the service very attentive and fast and the price honest for the quality and quantity. Highly recommended!!

13/05/2025: Amazing food, and service! The owner was very hospital, wonderful, and kind the servers too. Loved the eggplant parmesian!!

19/05/2025: Had dinner there - everything was clean and well-kept - waitresses were friendly - menu with a lot of choice - the food tasted great 👍 - I dare say one of the best meals so far and we have been in Italy for almost two weeks - Aperol was excellently mixed

08/05/2025: The Vecchio Granaio is located in an old courtyard in Tropea, very suggestive, I haven't had the opportunity to see the interior. The service is not very attentive, there are six of us seated, but there are five seats, the waiters are not very present. Very long waiting times, we order six pizzas, one arrives after fifteen minutes, the other five after forty. Mediocre pizza, high bill.

20/09/2024: Panino nella norma, niente di particolare, tra l'altro stiamo parlando di un minimarket, che diventa abbastanza caro per essere servito seduto in malo modo su uno sgabello ed avere una piccola botte come tavolo. Abbiamo pagato 6 € (eravamo in 4) di servizio alla....botte e non al tavolo, perchè una ragazza si spostasse per circa 4 mt e portasse i quattro panini + due bottigliette di acqua alla .....botte. Nota lieta il personale cortese.

11/09/2024: O sándwich era muito bom, porém o pão era do dia anterior, estava um pouco duro. Nós escolhemos o de nduja com cebola e outro de tomate seco e provoca, muito saborosos.

17/05/2025: First time in Italy, I was so excited for the pizza, but it was a huge disappointment. I've rarely eaten such a bad pizza. Never again.

16/05/2025: The food was incredible. The dishes were generous. The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was very fun. The music was the best.

07/06/2025: Abbiamo deciso di mangiare in questo ristorante poichè in un posto di mare come tropea volevamo mangiare del pesce fresco; siamo arrivati e siamo subito stati accolti e coccolati dallo staff che ci ha aiutato a rendere l’esperienza indimenticabile. Come antipasto abbiamo preso degli involtini di calamaro ripieni con il mango (accoppiata fantastica) poi un risotto con la spigola ed il lime molto delicato ma allo stesso tempo molto saporito e con quel tocco di freschezza dato dal lime. Il pesce freschissimo e gustoso sono stati i protagonisti di questa cena svoltasi alla “corte dei miracoli” di tropea…esperienza bellissima sicuramente da rifare, un must se si viene a tropea

02/06/2025: Posto bello, atmosfera da ferie, fino a quando non sono arrivate le portate ordinate. Ordinata la frittura di paranza e sono arrivati dei pesci indefiniti, il merluzzo era inesistente e i calamari erano due pezzi di numero. Il resto dei piatti faceva pena. Nota squallida: sul menu è specificato che ogni richiesta aggiuntiva di olio costa 2,50 in più a persona e di pane invece 2 euro. Mai vista una cosa del genere. A mai più.

13/05/2025: Pastas are quite good. Service is nice and helpful (Polish speaking waiter). Prices are average. Quite a long waiting time for ordered dishes.

23/09/2024: Ottima location fronte mare,personale gentile e disponibile ed educato piatti abbondanti è molto buoni ,pesce fresco , ritornando a Tropea certamente sceglierei nuovamente questo locale.

02/06/2025: A fun and amazing atmosphere. I’ve been to Tropea a few times and never came through here. It is fun and they have great service. Our server Francesco was the best service that we’ve ever received in all of Tropea in our numerous times of visiting. Highly recommend!
