13/06/2026: The Cafe Blaise is the social epicenter of the Via Libertà in Tropea! Locals and tourists alike meet here from early to late. Service and products are great and you get friendly, personal support with any problem you could have traveling. If you are looking for an authentic experience this is the place for you. I would highly reccomend stopping by and seeing for yourself!

15/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic! We ate there three times during our holiday because we enjoyed it so much. The food was incredibly delicious, from appetizers to various main courses like pasta, pizza, and seafood, right through to dessert. We highly recommend everything. The atmosphere is lovely, as it's a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And what I'd especially like to emphasize is that all the staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English.

13/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant today. The welcome was perfect, and the owner was incredibly attentive. He pampered us by seating us in a more private and quiet room since we arrived with our sleeping baby. He then explained the menu and recommended dishes. We had a traditional appetizer, followed by onion soup and spaghetti with fish, followed by fried calamari and chips. Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the owner's presence was a real pleasure. We're so happy to have discovered this highly recommended little place; we'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: I stayed at the hotel for two nights with a friend and ate at the restaurant one evening. -The hotel is fantastic. It's in a fantastic location right in the heart of Tropea, and we were even lucky enough to have a small balcony overlooking the square. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious. -The food was good. The enthusiastic owner gave us great recommendations for fresh food and treated us to local delicacies. 01/02/2026: We were there in September 2025 and I just found myself thinking about it again tonight. The service was lovely, the wine was excellent, and the view was unforgettable. Such a great spot for a date — beautiful atmosphere and an all-around wonderful experience.

06/01/2026: Good experience. When I was there (December 25th), they had the option of a full menu at a reasonable price (just over €30). I recommend booking a table with a view!

24/07/2026: We were in this restaurant (attracted by the advertising of the fixed menu at the price of €39 per person) two adults and 3 children, we started with a mixed appetizer (a piece of salmon, a marinated Alice, two pieces of octopus with potatoes, a bruschetta with valerian and a piece of fish, a skewer of calamari and a pumpkin fritter if I'm not mistaken) in addition we took the chef's raw fish (quite good) for the children we ordered spaghetti with clams (the children did not finish the dishes telling me that they were not good, in fact I tasted the spaghetti they had a garlic flavor and nothing else... clams (lupins) you could not taste anything they were left on the plate with the pasta) in our menu there were first courses to choose from we chose seafood... the seafood seemed like the frozen ones from Eurospin, also second course to choose from, we chose the fried food which were two portions but if you put everything on a plate maybe you could make one portion. Not to mention the fact that there's no parking, and if you're a tourist and don't know that it becomes a pedestrian area, there's also a limited traffic zone. In fact, the waiter told us, "What do you want it to be?" It's an €80 fine...there are better places, and the reviews are misleading.

17/04/2026: Great located place nice atmosphere but good portion ridiculous € 20.00 for small portion of pasta. We had few drinks and 4 main courses but all of them except pizza which had my little girl daughter all 3 main courses are terrible.

08/07/2026: We went to this restaurant last night with my sister and we were really enthusiastic.... We ate very well, tasty and carefully prepared dishes, but what struck us most was the warm welcome from the owner...we will definitely be back!!

09/03/2026: I've never had a worse meal. An endless wait from the door to the end of the meal. A good two hours to get something to eat, and I don't know how to describe it, what adjective to use to describe it all. From the appetizer to the main course, including a first course (fileja with swordfish sauce) with no seasoning and with the sauce remaining the intention of the person in charge of cooking: cold dishes of truly poor quality. Courtesy is not lacking, but you enter the restaurant not only for the manners... I read the other reviews and wonder if they've changed the chef in the meantime, because today's chef, I believe, is his first experience in the kitchen. What I couldn't have known yesterday is that today I had gastrointestinal problems, resulting in diarrhea. Many thanks to the owner.

02/02/2026: December 31, 2025, passing through Tropea. Last dinner of the year, unpretentious, and before midnight. The owner tells us she also brought her dogs to the restaurant so they wouldn't be scared by the fireworks, and we had ours. During dinner, two explosions were very annoying for us, let alone the dogs. I wanted to go out and protest. At the third, we realized it was the owner's fault, and we ran away. Just one piece of advice, Mr. Owner: commit and invest money and time in quality and speed of service, not in scaring customers away.
