17/05/2026: So we actually never wanted to sit and eat at this restaurant,our goal was' IL BISTROT CALABRESE '. They belong together however we were basically lured and sat down and given the menu that's 3x more expensive (like fine dining more or less) without even being told that it's another restaurant.The food is good, portions kinda small,prices overboard for what you receive. Fine if you want 'influencer vibes',but still a tourist trap.

01/02/2026: We were there in September 2025 and I just found myself thinking about it again tonight. The service was lovely, the wine was excellent, and the view was unforgettable. Such a great spot for a date — beautiful atmosphere and an all-around wonderful experience.

06/01/2026: Good experience. When I was there (December 25th), they had the option of a full menu at a reasonable price (just over €30). I recommend booking a table with a view!

29/11/2025: The food was amazing, and the waiters were divided between some who were unprofessional and seemed to be making comments and jokes about the customers while chatting among themselves, and others who were super professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I booked with the Fork, and the discount wasn't applied initially (after waiting 15 minutes for the bill at the table), so when I pointed it out, they recalculated the bill manually and brought it back after another 10 minutes of waiting. Highly recommended if you want good food at reasonable prices!

29/05/2026: located in very nice, quiet street and great atmosphere. our server was very sweet, considerate and made the experience great! we had vegetarian pasta and it was delicious.

25/05/2026: The best restaurant in tropea, so good that we had to go back 2 days later. One of the best meals I have ever had in my life you could not ask for more, lovely pasta, unreal swordfish and the tuna steak was the best cut of fish I have ever eaten. Atmosphere was also amazing, playing great music and off the main strip so none of the classic tourist trap stuff. Could not recommend more to anyone visiting Tropea

13/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant today. The welcome was perfect, and the owner was incredibly attentive. He pampered us by seating us in a more private and quiet room since we arrived with our sleeping baby. He then explained the menu and recommended dishes. We had a traditional appetizer, followed by onion soup and spaghetti with fish, followed by fried calamari and chips. Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the owner's presence was a real pleasure. We're so happy to have discovered this highly recommended little place; we'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: I stayed at the hotel for two nights with a friend and ate at the restaurant one evening. -The hotel is fantastic. It's in a fantastic location right in the heart of Tropea, and we were even lucky enough to have a small balcony overlooking the square. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious. -The food was good. The enthusiastic owner gave us great recommendations for fresh food and treated us to local delicacies. 12/05/2026: We ate here twice during our holiday. The staff is always attentive and the pizza is delicious. The prices are very reasonable, as is the Aperol. We never had to wait long. A definite recommendation from us! 👍🍕

11/05/2026: Very nice and friendly staff, helpful with the selection. The drinks (Spritz) were all very good and tasty. We really enjoyed the food; the appetizers and pizza are highly recommended. We spent three hours there and would definitely come back.

09/03/2026: I've never had a worse meal. An endless wait from the door to the end of the meal. A good two hours to get something to eat, and I don't know how to describe it, what adjective to use to describe it all. From the appetizer to the main course, including a first course (fileja with swordfish sauce) with no seasoning and with the sauce remaining the intention of the person in charge of cooking: cold dishes of truly poor quality. Courtesy is not lacking, but you enter the restaurant not only for the manners... I read the other reviews and wonder if they've changed the chef in the meantime, because today's chef, I believe, is his first experience in the kitchen. What I couldn't have known yesterday is that today I had gastrointestinal problems, resulting in diarrhea. Many thanks to the owner.

02/02/2026: December 31, 2025, passing through Tropea. Last dinner of the year, unpretentious, and before midnight. The owner tells us she also brought her dogs to the restaurant so they wouldn't be scared by the fireworks, and we had ours. During dinner, two explosions were very annoying for us, let alone the dogs. I wanted to go out and protest. At the third, we realized it was the owner's fault, and we ran away. Just one piece of advice, Mr. Owner: commit and invest money and time in quality and speed of service, not in scaring customers away.

17/04/2026: Great located place nice atmosphere but good portion ridiculous € 20.00 for small portion of pasta. We had few drinks and 4 main courses but all of them except pizza which had my little girl daughter all 3 main courses are terrible.
