We had lunch at this restaurant today. The welcome was perfect, and the owner was incredibly attentive. He pampered us by seating us in a more private and quiet room since we arrived with our sleeping baby. He then explained the menu and recommended dishes. We had a traditional appetizer, followed by onion soup and spaghetti with fish, followed by fried calamari and chips. Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the owner's presence was a real pleasure. We're so happy to have discovered this highly recommended little place; we'll definitely be back.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights with a friend and ate at the restaurant one evening.
-The hotel is fantastic. It's in a fantastic location right in the heart of Tropea, and we were even lucky enough to have a small balcony overlooking the square. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious.
-The food was good. The enthusiastic owner gave us great recommendations for fresh food and treated us to local delicacies. I would love to return if I ever get the chance! Thanks, Nicolo

The food was amazing, but even more fascinating was the host (Nicolo) who has such a passion and lovely pride for his great food, we felt like in an Italian movie experiencing his hospitality. The waitress (Morena) is also super friendly and kind. Thank you for a unforgettable experience 🙏🏼🥰

Da Cecè is a real discovery! The appetizers are the highlight: rich, varied, and made with the freshest ingredients, each one better than the last. The first courses are also delicious, carefully prepared and full of flavor, and the second courses are no exception. All this is accompanied by a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Nicola, the owner, is incredibly friendly and gave us excellent advice. Highly recommended!

I had the raw fish, which was truly excellent. The mussels were well-seasoned and much appreciated. For starters, I tried both the pasta with nduja, onion, and salty pecorino cheese sauce and the one with anchovies, breadcrumbs, and olives. Both were excellent. To finish, the sea bass was salt-baked. Cirò wine by the bottle was €18.
Prices are as per the menu. Average for downtown Tropea. If you get to know the owner, it'll be a great experience, even on a personal level. The staff is very friendly. Service can be a bit slow if it's crowded. But rushing is not a Calabrian trait...and in my opinion, they're good for it.
