07/08/2025: Just after landing to Reggio Calabria and collecting the car, we were looking for something light to eat. We ended up having a spectacular ‘granita di caffè’ with proper fresh cream and a mouthwatering brioche (soft, tasty, with a touch of lemon flavour 😋). Looking forward to having the strawberry one (granita di fragola)! Very lovely staff, by the way.

25/07/2025: I recently visited this pastry shop and café, and I have to say it was a truly pleasant experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and well-kept, perfect for a sweet break or a coffee with friends. The desserts are delicious, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty pastries, and the coffee is always carefully prepared. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the service even more enjoyable. I highly recommend trying them if you're looking for a place to enjoy excellent desserts and a good coffee in a friendly atmosphere!

12/02/2025: My colleague and I had dinner at this restaurant. I chose a seafood salad, while he ordered spaghetti with seafood, accompanied by a bottle of still water and a small Coca-Cola. The bill, however, seemed excessive compared to what we consumed; the prices are really too high for the quality and quantity of the food offered. It's as if they made us pay a disproportionate price, almost like an armed robbery.

15/07/2025: I was finally able to visit this historic Calabrian pastry shop in person, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. There's nothing more to say: everything is excellent, from the pastries to the famous nougat, which they offer in a wide variety of flavors. From the classic (almonds and honey) to the soft rum, gianduja, etc. It's definitely worth the trip to experience the delights of Maestro Scutella.

10/07/2025: Between golden pizzas and heartfelt fried foods. The flavor is sincere, the quality is palpable, every bite truly warms people. Crispy delights, perfect flavors, in that place with perfect rhythms. But, between an arancini and a steaming slice, something was constantly missing… It wasn't the food, because that's enchanting, but Gabriele, the smile that was so important. Courteous, present, never out of place, he made every meal almost a real treat. Now that he's gone, something is different, like a missing line in the middle of a line. Sesto Senso, you're still a beautiful place… but without Gabriele… I'm left with a pang of regret.

30/06/2025: Wow. I was there this morning and I was lucky enough to try the Chocolate Granita that I paired with almond. How could I not accompany it all with the much vaunted Brioches? I will definitely be back. Extraordinary

13/06/2025: Accolti gentilmente e serviti su un romantico tavolo vista mare. Deliziosi gli antipasti caldi e il sauté di cozze. Anche vino e primi davvero eccellenti. Abbiamo concluso con il semifreddo zabaione, cioccolato e amaretti… da leccarsi i baffi. Anche il ristorante interno risulta molto curato ed elegante. Complimenti per la gestione. Consigliatissimo

19/08/2025: I recently went back, somewhat reluctantly, because I remembered not being satisfied in the past. And unfortunately, after a while, I haven't changed my mind. Aside from the delicious mixed fried fish appetizer, very plentiful and appetizing, I haven't changed my mind about the rest... The service was always very slow, the atmosphere was welcoming but a bit small and too noisy, and the pizza base wasn't exactly crispy; it was really hard, you couldn't cut it! The toppings were good, but the base wasn't, just acceptable... And to think, I really like Roman-style thin pizza, but this dough wasn't; it was heavy. Not to mention, for those who ordered a simple hamburger, it was served overcooked (not to mention burned) and completely dry. The place is very nice, well-decorated, but those benches at the table are uncomfortable; after two hours, my back was knocked out. Personally, I gave up on just about everything. One point in their favor is that we chose this pizzeria because they take into account food intolerances, such as celiac disease. But if I had to recommend a place, I would discard this one at the moment.
