23/11/2025: A historic restaurant in the center of Reggio Calabria. I've been going there for many years, and they've always exemplified quality, professionalism, and friendliness. Their rotisserie is top-notch, and I'm not going to go out on a limb and say their pizza by the slice is the best in town.

I've been frequenting the place for many years: quality ingredients, exquisite rotisserie, and some of the best pizza by the slice in town. The staff is always attentive, helpful, and professional. Highly recommended for both a quick snack and large orders.

20/11/2025: I gave it one star because Google forces me to. We ended up at this restaurant because our favorite restaurant around the corner was closed, but calling it that is an exaggeration. The dishes were horrible and especially disgusting. Pasta without salt. Appetizers piled on a plate like soup. The waiters asked us if we had ever tried sardines. They didn't know that our favorite restaurant, also around the corner, is owned by Ciro, so I should have asked them: have you ever eaten sardines? We ended up at this place by chance, but we certainly won't return, and we'll do everything we can to ensure others like us don't make the same mistake. Catering is a serious business; it's not just ingredients thrown in at random.

03/10/2025: While passing through Castrovillari, we had a great experience at Origini. The cuisine was meticulously prepared, with excellent, well-presented dishes using local ingredients. The service was attentive and unobtrusive. The quality/price ratio was excellent.

21/08/2025: On our way back from vacation, we stopped for lunch at this Calabrian restaurant by chance. Excellent, distinctive, and homemade food, a clean atmosphere, and fast service. They make special artichokes in oil and delicious desserts!

29/09/2025: Easy to get to from the village, but don't use Google Maps. Just go about ten meters past the turnoff for the historic center, heading toward Campotenese. You'll find it on the left. Traditional cuisine. Generous portions and fair prices.

11/09/2025: Marina di Pizzo Calabro, short (sandy) beach with umbrellas a bit too close together. The pool is an additional fee and is very large with slides for the little ones. Overall, the facility is well-maintained, with a spacious restaurant and bar and several areas managed separately. The pizzeria is good, but the service is a bit apathetic. Indoor and outdoor parking.

30/09/2025: Reasonable prices (I don't know who put €€€ in the rating) and very fresh fish, friendly owners and staff. I stopped for takeout fried fish for two people, paying by weight and obviously less than at the table, but it was delicious. It's a shame I couldn't stop by for dinner; the best places are at the end of the holidays... Highly recommended. Update September 2025. Prices have indeed gone up, a bit expensive compared to other fishmongers in the area.

05/09/2025: What a cute place, so glad we found it. What a find! The food was excellent. Flavorful and accommodating for my dietary restrictions. We were waited on by the owner who made sure we were happy with our food and service. They have only been open since April but they do a great job with both service and food. Wishing them good luck in the future. We hope to be back soon!

The staff welcomed us right away, everyone was very good, and the guys were really friendly... The pizza delivery is different from what I see around here, with the pizzas placed on the tables, but they're always there, and they leave you the slice you prefer... The guys are knowledgeable, they explain everything they bring, and they're very attentive, and they don't always start at the same table, which shows they know how to work. The pizza is still light, the small slices are better that way. They make a variety of flavors that's hard to find in a normal pizzeria, and they're so good, so good, they'll want to come back again...

20/08/2025: I had the opportunity to try the sandwich at The Burger Bros at the Scalea amusement park, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional: the meat was fantastic, the cheddar was real cheese sliced ​​on the spot, and the bacon was high-quality, not the usual processed product. The owner and his wife were extremely kind and made sure we were satisfied. I will definitely be back; it's undoubtedly the best sandwich in Scalea.
