We eat very well. The restaurant is located inside a very particular ancient village.

We love this hidden gem, the food is amazing and really brings you back to the local classical Italian flavors. We can’t get enough of their eggplant Parmesan. The restaurant is a bit of a hike through the historical district but it is well worth it. For those with restricted mobility we recommend parking near the top and walking down from the castle ruins (not wheelchair acceptance). Truly a great location for amazing Italian cuisine.

A romantic setting with enthusiastic and friendly staff. Delicious traditional food cooked to order, and excellent value. A real find in a lovely setting - well worth the trek to get there. Unique Amaro cocktails to round the evening off. We've been coming to Scalea for 12 years and can't believe we have not found it before.

The waiting time was quite long and the meat had a lot of cartilage and was therefore not very tasty. Service but friendly!
