06/09/2025: A truly positive experience, the perfect place to unwind. I spent eight relaxing days. The property is nestled in the greenery of the mountains, where peace and serenity reign, interrupted only by the sounds of nature and the pleasant background music that accompanies you throughout the day, carefully chosen by the owner, Olivio, a warm and friendly person with extensive life experience, always ready to exchange a kind word. The hotel offers a well-maintained pool and rooms that are meticulously cleaned and tidied every day. They are equipped with air conditioning, which I have never used because the natural cool air comes directly from the nearby mountains. The sea is about 15 minutes away via a scenic road that passes through the village of Tortona. The beaches of Tortora Marina, Praia a Mare, San Nicola Arcella with the wonderful Arcomagno, and beautiful Maratea are easily accessible. Another positive note is the food. Giuseppe, one of the staff, is an excellent person.

27/07/2025: We knew this place for its delicious pizza, but I didn't feel like eating it, so I asked the waiter—I think he was the maître d'—what vegan options they had... I panicked. After a few jokes and a laugh, however, he kindly and pleasantly brought me a plate of spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce, which was delicious. Being vegan isn't a fad, it's an act of self-awareness, and I want to go out with my family without causing the restaurant owner any problems. I can say that I was served and treated very well here. Thank you. Add something to the menu that will make even those who don't eat meat, fish, and derivatives happy. P.S. The pizzas her husband and daughter had were also amazing.

The pizzas are excellent: light, well-leavened, and easy to digest. Prices are fair and affordable. Special thanks to Gabriele, a kind, attentive, and always smiling waiter: he made our experience even more enjoyable.

16/08/2025: It’s one of the best adress in Tropea, the team is excellent, the most welcoming staff in the city of Tropea. The lasagna and homemade pizza are excellent, I strongly recommend you to go there if you are tourists they speak english, go there with your eyes closed. Coming from the 5 french girls who stopped by this evening <3 <3

08/08/2025: Excellent pizzas, spectacular Tropea onion arancini, parmigia as good as they know how to make in Emilia Romagna, precise and fast service with a smile. Highly recommended!!

22/08/2025: The place is a real disgrace to say the least, the staff is non-existent, we sat down at 11.30pm, the order was taken at 11.57pm, the brioche was hard and tasted like it was the day before, the table service cost €1, but I don't see the table service, the receipt was torn up by the cashier at the time of payment, the owner of the place asked me to get up because other people had to sit down even though I was consuming, it's absurd, it's a real disgrace, don't come.

18/08/2025: Bad review for the White at Marinella. Service was nonexistent. The menu said "aperitivo platter," but they brought out five rustici and crumbled chips. I mentioned this to the cashier, saying the menu was misleading, but they just shrugged! The bill was outrageous! Highly not recommended!

30/08/2025: I spent a whole day at this establishment. €25 for an umbrella at the only beach in Bocale I (just travel a few kilometers and the cost is still €15 both at Pellaro and Bocale II). The beach is claustrophobic and poorly maintained (cigarette butts and plastic) already in the morning. The lifeguard is a bit lazy; he doesn't even go a few meters to show you the loungers and check they're clean (in fact, they weren't). Coin-operated shower in the toilet; perhaps a few fewer umbrellas for the sake of comfort wouldn't hurt. We also had lunch: Very nice terrace, good food except for the sauce. Prices higher than average. Very slow service for sandwiches and salads, and they also got one dish wrong despite giving us over 40 minutes' notice. It was a portion of pasta for a child, which was given twice to others who arrived later. Discount-store sauce. Salad served on a small plate (there are no bowls) and half of it flew to Lazzaro, and the blond waiter didn't flinch. Very crowded in the afternoon due to the DJ set, with a few sneaky side entrances taking up loungers but still consuming. Beautiful sea.

24/08/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming and the view out front is spectacular. The food is excellent, the crudités delicious.

27/08/2025: Crazy prices. I ordered a glass cup for €4.50 and got two scoops. It seemed like a joke. We burst out laughing as soon as we saw it. Extremely rude staff. The other day I came in and found a chair in front of the bathroom. My friend and I went in anyway because we thought it had been put there by a customer. The ice cream maker started yelling at me, telling me it was closed and threatening, saying, "The other one can stay locked in all night."

26/08/2025: One of the absolute best bars we've had during our vacation. The place is always clean, orders are quick, everything is fully stocked, and the staff is very attentive and fast, from the delicious croissants to the exquisite ice creams. I highly recommend it.

07/04/2025: I went to Prizza with my boyfriend and his friends and I immediately noticed the warmth and kindness with which the staff welcomed us. Clean and welcoming place, thin and crunchy pizza as I like it and very tasty. I finally found a pizzeria that knows how to market!!! The meatballs also deserve a special mention. I will definitely go back. Highly recommended
