15/06/2024: Giornata cupa e lidi chiusi. Così ci siamo diretti alla volta del Parco dei Tauriani che non avevo mai visitato (quando sono andato via da Palmi 35 anni fa non c'era ancora). Dopodichè abbiamo pensato di andare "da Ciccio" per gustare qualcosa di buono. Ho letto tante recensioni negative su cibo e servizio. Non riesco a capacitarmene. Il locale esisteva già quando ero piccolo, 40 anni fa, ed era già un riferimento per il pesce. Ogni anno, quando torno a Palmi, una cena da Ciccio (gestore storico) è obbligatoria. La qualità dei piatti è eccellente così come il rapporto ualità/prezzo. Già solo l'antipasto della casa è un viaggio nei sapori. La carta dei vini è ottima e comprende diverse tipologie di tutto il territorio nazionale. Il servizio professionale ed attento, non i soliti camerieri improvvisati magari anche bravi ma senza la formazione di base. Molti miei amici bresciani che hanno avuto modo di visitare la Calabria e Palmi anche vari decenni fa, conoscono questo locale e ne hanno un buon ricordo. Insomma, io lo consiglio ad occhi chiusi

20/08/2024: I booked in July for the Geolier concert on August 18th 2024, Mr. Antonio, owner of the structure, was very kind straight away and communicated to us various availability of rooms for our needs. Exceptional hotel with a fantastic view, close to the sea and I want to underline the obsessive cleanliness every day we stayed. The staff throughout the facility are super helpful and always with a smile. Strategic position to reach Diamante. We will definitely return for a next occasion.

23/07/2024: Unfortunately, for a few years now, since the new management has been in place, there has only been deterioration. Everything is bad. I strongly advise against it

12/02/2024: We have just returned from a weekend in Lorica, this property is large, clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and Mr. Sergio is very kind. The landscape is enchanting. We will definitely return and recommend it to families, couples, friends.

08/08/2024: Cozy place. The cuisine is of good quality. The interior, on the upper floor, is air conditioned. Something to improve on the electric amplifier. Pizza also for lunch, excellent quality and genuine ingredients. Very convenient for those making a passing lunch stop. Average prices and service.

21/08/2024: È il secondo anno ke cn due amici organizziamo la cena a Lido di Squillace a base di antipasti...ke dire,la foto parla da sola...tutto buono e saporito. Abbiamo preso Anke la frittura e terminato la serata cn dei dolci,ottimi anke loro... lo consiglio

18/08/2024: Rispetto ad anni precedenti..ho avuto una esperienza pessima. Avevo chiesto un posto sulla terrazza ...tanti tavoli erano liberi ..e lo sono rimasti fino alle 11.30 uscita . Indisponibilita' dei camerieri..Mangiato paccheri allo scoglio 4 contati... meno che in una portata di Ristorante gourmet milanese..., ma di pessimo gusto. La frittura mista appena sufficiente ...Peccato che nel passato era meglio, la mia esperienza non merita la sufficienza. Se altri trattati meglio...il mio giudizio peggiora....Mi dispiace che mangiando in tutta Italia mi ritrovo a mangiare male .. nei miei luoghi..

22/08/2024: Restaurant to recommend. Kind service. It could be a little faster and while people are choosing what to eat, ask what the customers want to drink. Excellent eating. Clean bathrooms but a little rustic.

17/08/2024: Not bad pizza, I don't recommend the pizza omelette which tasted like nothing... but a portion of pizza strips with Nutella 10 euros never paid so much!

04/08/2024: Enchanting place located in the greenery and a few km from Sila. Exquisite cuisine: from starters to desserts, plentiful and all first choice. Typical Calabrian cuisine, from ricotta to cured meats, raw ham, capicollo, soppressata, to pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, to meat cooked to perfection etc...etc...Friendly staff and very polite owner. Highly recommended..

21/07/2024: DON'T GO THERE!! please do yourself and humanity a favor and go elsewhere, the cuisine is disgusting with meat overcooked and hard like potatoes (which by the way had a hair on them) everything was disgusting the worst thing was the water and maybe maybe the fried meatballs which were hard to do badly and maybe the ricotta which was obviously hot. Staff either deaf or who pretended to be so that what I believe was the owner, in addition to being obnoxious and bitchy, responded badly to some of us for no reason, there is no physical or online menu, dogs cannot enter and there is field. This was made even more infuriating by a baby who cried for 2 hours. So terrible cuisine, equally terrible service, environment and management, I beg you to choose something else
