31/07/2024: I have been coming to Calabria for 30 years and I have found very few places like this so far. This place, which is a gem, is nestled in the splendid streets of Badolato. Few tables, away from the crowd, with spectacular views. Ate very well, with genuine flavors thanks to the high quality raw materials. Friendly but discreet staff. Thank you so much, I needed a dinner like this! Very honest price for what is offered!

26/07/2024: Restaurant located in an ancient and rustic setting in Badolato, with a suggestive view, with a fixed menu of meat or fish for 40 euros (wines and drinks excluded). The dishes served (two appetizers, a first course, a second course and a dessert) are an explosion of local flavors, prepared with love and wisdom by the chef and served with love and courtesy by the owners. Everything is excellent, in the right quantities (there are no tavern portions, nor even gourmet portions) and you leave happy and satisfied,

21/07/2024: Local located on Via Margherita di Amantea. Mainly for street food, few tables for eating on site. Pizzas, arancini, croquettes and meatballs typical of the place but still with good raw materials. No table service. Good for a quick dinner.
07/04/2024: We ate two sandwiches, the Chiazzitano and the Toto 28, two specialties, Salvatore and Cinzia, two wonderful people.

The variety of local cuisine with excellent quality ingredients and superbly cooked without excessive seasoning.
Friendly, professional and welcoming staff.
The local wine is good.

The prices are absolutely honest.

GOOD ON THE SECOND. visited yesterday 23.08. It deserves a full 5 stars, pasta dish with mussels and clams to be praised, super excellent and tasty portion, good pizza with the modification suggested by the friendly Mariateresa, top frying.
All that remains is to thank all the staff from Mariateresa, Sergio the owner, the friendly Salvatore and all the other workers. Although it was previously recommended also for the historical memory of the area, it is now SUPER RECOMMENDED WITH 5 SUPERIOR STARS
16/08/2024: Takeaway pizza. Slow service. We had to wait almost 1 hour due to an unexpected incident with the pizza chef, according to them. Pizza burnt in some places. I also took two portions of french fries but they arrived limp and cold because they had been prepared too long in advance.

08/08/2024: The place looks good, the pizza isn't that great, but above all I find the "insistent" request, as if it were an obligation, to have something before or after the pizza extremely unpleasant. I won't repeat the experience.

Ottimo cibo cucinato al momento,ottimo servizio. Gestore davvero piacevole e gentile. Si vede quando c'è la passione dietro a tutto...al gusto,alla presentazione del piatto. Eravamo di passaggio e abbiamo sostato a Locri giusto per il pranzo. Assolutamente da consigliare!
In più... appeso li come un trofeo aleggia il defibrillatore. Per me avete vinto su tutti.

28/08/2024: A somewhat disappointing evening. The previous day we had ordered a Margherita pizza to take away and it was really good, so we made a reservation to eat there the following day.
Pretty bad service especially when problems arise. After about half an hour the light went out and all the tables remained in the dark. The staff was not prompt at all and we were in this condition for more than 40 minutes. Without an emergency generator, they continued to deliver dishes that had to be eaten in the dark or with their own phone flashlight.
The pizza arrived, a margherita with chips, the latter were not cooked at all and cold, almost still frozen. Furthermore, there was also a piece of paper in the pizza.
For what you pay, this is absolutely not the service you should receive.
I'm leaving three stars only because the takeaway pizza was good.
23/08/2024: The chef is certainly not Italian, spaghetti with seafood and seafood risotto are not recommended. The seafood starter is good
