25/06/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant during our trip to southern Italy. The food was great, but what truly stood out was the amazing staff – warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They took the time to explain the menu, made us feel at home, and handled everything with a relaxed and friendly attitude. We felt completely comfortable. Highly recommended – not just for the food, but for the hospitality.

08/09/2025: The location is lovely, offering a beautiful view of the Tropea sea. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful young man, but unfortunately, the man taking our orders arrived as soon as we were seated, rushing us, making it impossible to choose our dishes. He was also quite annoyed. Despite everything, we ate reasonably well, except for the first course, which, strangely, arrived less than five minutes later, so we assumed it was already ready. The tuna steak with onion was good, but I would pay more attention to the plating.

03/09/2025: I'll be brief because I almost never leave negative reviews, but I didn't feel like a tourist here, so I had to warn you. As soon as we arrived, they told us the starters weren't available. We asked for the tuna steak to be cooked more, which was brought without asking us how cooked it was. They said no because they had already closed the kitchen. 3 PM? Maybe 3:30 PM max? I asked to charge my phone and was told, "Madam, we're about to close, remember to take it back." So, a 5-minute charge was a blessing. Then they hadn't even asked for coffee yet, and the cashier lady, as she passed by, asked me to settle the bill because they were closing the counter. 😐 Well, now tell me, in a seaside place like Tropea, should tourists be served like this? I gave it 3 stars only for the view and the food, otherwise I would have given it 1 or 2 stars at most.

08/06/2025: Ho lavorato a Reggio per due anni... Ho scoperto questo bar e ho trovato un personale accogliente che ti fa sentire a casa... Dal proprietario ai ragazzi stessi professionali, educati, pronti a soddisfare qualsiasi tua esigenza... In particolare complimenti a Francesco per la sua professionalità e serietà... Ho visto davvero poche persone lavorare con la sua passione... Consiglio a chi si trova a venire a Reggio di passare... Cibo ottimo e staff unico...

31/08/2025: Embarrassingly, when I got there, I decided to order two takeout pizzas: a sausage and fries, and an optional pizza with salami and fries. It was truly a shame to pay €18; it was absolutely not worth the price. Paying €10 for the salami and fries is truly ridiculous. I'm writing this review because I felt completely cheated; the only positive thing is that at least they had cut it.

28/08/2025: Everything was excellent. We went on the day the place was packed. In August, the wait is obvious, but the quality isn't. That's why we're happy to have found Sachsenhausen. Everything is fresh and cooked to order, and the staff are all very kind. Thank you, and we'll be back soon. Oh, and the pizza dough... super!

26/08/2025: Excellent quality products, but for a restaurant... it's just not up to par. We ordered two appetizers: the one they bring is very small, but the bill counts as three. The first course was excellent, but then, after a long wait, we had to ask several times to get food that was almost raw and of poor quality. But there's the final surprise: the bill!

26/08/2025: Exceptional place! Incredible cheese platters, zeppole, bread, and nduja appetizers. The meat-based menu offers a wide selection, including Florentine steak, mixed grill, amazing burgers, and a variety of pasta dishes. I highly recommend trying the meat. The meat platters are brought to your table on a griddle with embers underneath, so you can eat them as cooked as you like. I recommend splitting your orders because the portions are generous.

26/10/2025: The restaurant is located atop Mount Sant'Elia, offering spectacular views of Mount Etna, Vulcano, and Stromboli. The restaurant is welcoming, and the dishes are tasty, appetizing, and well-portioned. The paccheri with swordfish sauce are excellent. The staff is friendly. Parking is free on the street in front of the restaurant. Recommended...

16/10/2025: We spontaneously stopped by this afternoon after a hike and had a super delicious vegetarian appetizer with delicious bread. Absolutely fantastic! We've never had anything like it before! My daughter had spaghetti with tomato sauce and was also completely blown away. If we ever come back, we'll definitely go there!

17/07/2025: The focaccia is delicious with a wide variety of flavors to choose from and the staff is very friendly.

25/06/2025: Very thin and crispy pizza, also vegetarian versions. A gluten-free alternative would be great.
