28/08/2025: Everything was excellent. We went on the day the place was packed. In August, the wait is obvious, but the quality isn't. That's why we're happy to have found Sachsenhausen. Everything is fresh and cooked to order, and the staff are all very kind. Thank you, and we'll be back soon. Oh, and the pizza dough... super!

26/08/2025: Exceptional place! Incredible cheese platters, zeppole, bread, and nduja appetizers. The meat-based menu offers a wide selection, including Florentine steak, mixed grill, amazing burgers, and a variety of pasta dishes. I highly recommend trying the meat. The meat platters are brought to your table on a griddle with embers underneath, so you can eat them as cooked as you like. I recommend splitting your orders because the portions are generous.

26/08/2025: Excellent quality products, but for a restaurant... it's just not up to par. We ordered two appetizers: the one they bring is very small, but the bill counts as three. The first course was excellent, but then, after a long wait, we had to ask several times to get food that was almost raw and of poor quality. But there's the final surprise: the bill!

08/09/2025: The location is lovely, offering a beautiful view of the Tropea sea. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful young man, but unfortunately, the man taking our orders arrived as soon as we were seated, rushing us, making it impossible to choose our dishes. He was also quite annoyed. Despite everything, we ate reasonably well, except for the first course, which, strangely, arrived less than five minutes later, so we assumed it was already ready. The tuna steak with onion was good, but I would pay more attention to the plating.

03/09/2025: I'll be brief because I almost never leave negative reviews, but I didn't feel like a tourist here, so I had to warn you. As soon as we arrived, they told us the starters weren't available. We asked for the tuna steak to be cooked more, which was brought without asking us how cooked it was. They said no because they had already closed the kitchen. 3 PM? Maybe 3:30 PM max? I asked to charge my phone and was told, "Madam, we're about to close, remember to take it back." So, a 5-minute charge was a blessing. Then they hadn't even asked for coffee yet, and the cashier lady, as she passed by, asked me to settle the bill because they were closing the counter. 😐 Well, now tell me, in a seaside place like Tropea, should tourists be served like this? I gave it 3 stars only for the view and the food, otherwise I would have given it 1 or 2 stars at most.

30/08/2025: We sat down in the square in August at 8:45 PM, 11 of us. Orders were taken piecemeal and served haphazardly: first food without drinks, then half-finished drinks, and finally—when everyone had already finished—our celiac friend's gluten-free pizza, which he ate alone. Bread never arrived, drinks forgotten, pizzas from those who hadn't eaten never seen, despite numerous promises of preferential passage of our order (perhaps for the next day). The menu stated that a platter was "minimum for two people" at €32, but the staff's explanation was a puzzle: when we said there were eight of us, we were told that four platters was not enough; when we ordered five, we discovered that the platters were actually charged "per person" and not "per couple." In fact, the "platter for eight" had five pieces of each, so three people were left to watch. The menu was poorly written, and the order management was even worse. One of us, after being told several times that the pizza we'd chosen from the menu wasn't available, had to impatiently ask them to decide which pizza was available. The service was surreal: a single waiter (presumably the owner) would take the orders, leave them unfinished, and disappear for long minutes, while the others watched. When we complained, the owner never admitted a mistake: he told us that "you must have misunderstood, or I misunderstood," and urged us to stay calm "because I even gave you a front-row table to watch the concert," all with a joke that was more than out of place. Final justification? "It's chaotic in August, and it's a special night." With the square full but only 50 people in the dining room, it's pure incompetence; the chaos wasn't in his restaurant: if you don't know how to manage, you reduce the seating. In the end, we paid €20 each, including those who didn't eat. Disorganized, slow, arrogant, and even ironic about complaints: a disaster to be avoided!

14/08/2025: We ordered two pizzas, a Margherita and a Diavola with 'nduja, and were pleasantly surprised by their melt-in-your-mouth crust! The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, and we even met the pizza chef and congratulated him in person. This will definitely be our go-to pizzeria for our next trips to Palmi! WAITERS WHO PLAY ON THEIR CELL PHONES WHILE WAITING, THE BREAD BROUGHT IN A PAPER BAG LIKE A PICNIC. THE FIRST COURSE WAS PASTA VERY UNCOOKED... THE SECOND COURSE WAS NOT ORDERED, ONLY A SIDE DISH OF POTATOES WAS ORDERED, WHICH WAS RAW INSIDE... I DON'T KNOW HOW THERE MANAGES TO REMAIN OPEN WITH THIS TERRIBLE SERVICE... REALLY TERRIBLE!!!!!!! THE ONLY POSITIVE THING IS THE HORSES ..

11/11/2025: Buono come bar per intrattenimento per tutte le età, ottimo posto di ritrovo per giovani, tv musica e divertimento, sala biliardo e calcio balilla, si può mangiare, e bere birra, angolo slot riservato, completa la struttura la pizzeria , anche da asporto e consegna a domicilio, ottimo servizio e prezzi contenuti, consiglio la sera come punto di ritrovo e conoscere gente nuova. Nel contesto è un ottimo locale, tranquillo.
