The place is welcoming and well-maintained, with convenient parking right in front, making everything even more convenient. The real highlight, however, is Lorenzo, the owner: always kind, smiling, and ready to make everyone feel at ease. He makes you feel at home from the first moment. The coffee is simply exceptional: intense, deep, and pleasantly aromatic, perfect for starting the day or for a relaxing break. Highly recommended for those seeking quality, courtesy, and an authentic atmosphere. Congratulations, Lorenzo, keep up the good work!

20/09/2025: We visited this restaurant with some families and we all left thrilled! The fish was incredibly fresh, truly the catch of the day, and you could taste the quality in the dishes served. The owner, who is also the chef, personally advised us on our choices and proved to be kind, helpful, and very approachable. The cuisine is excellent, dishes prepared with care and authentic flavor. A nice touch that made lunch even more enjoyable? The presence of their parrot, Birillo, who won everyone over with his cheerfulness! Highly recommended for those looking for good food, a family atmosphere, and an authentic experience in Pizzo.

26/07/2025: Well-equipped and with secure parking (for a fee). It also has a bar/sandwich shop/restaurant with tables, a beach volleyball court, and a soccer field on the sand. The umbrellas are quite close to each other (perhaps the only drawback), but otherwise everything is fine.

06/09/2025: Excellent traditional Sila food and impeccable service. The mushroom salad and creamed potato soup with 'nduja and caciocavallo are incredible. The traditional Scirubetta dessert, made the old-fashioned way, is out of this world. Definitely worth a try!

21/08/2025: Lunch at the tavernetta is a unique experience. A pampering experience amidst the poetry of the Sila. Wonderful people who welcome you with kindness and courtesy. Excellent ingredients prepared following tradition but enhancing their flavor, aroma, and substance with originality. It's my favorite restaurant, my favorite chefs in Calabria. Thank you 🙏

22/10/2025: I don't understand how people can dislike this place, I LOVE it. I'll start by saying that I don't eat salmon (I don't like it), so I can't say if it's fresh and good or not, but as for the rest, I think it's EXCELLENT and everything is very tasty. Even though I've eaten at many other sushi restaurants, this remains my favorite. The place is magnificent and very large, I love it. I didn't give full stars to the food and service only because I think there's room for improvement. And lastly, I want to say, stop always nitpicking about everything, tablets like that, it's 2025, and in a pizzeria or any restaurant, waiters still come and take orders with pen and paper (and no one has ever complained about this 🤦🏼‍♀️😂), so if they want to do that too, I don't see what the problem is. Obviously everyone has had a different experience but every time I've been there (I've been going there for 3 years now) I've always had a great time.

14/10/2025: Nice place, but unfortunately disorganized. They could install ordering tablets to prevent customers from calling and asking the waitresses for a bottle of water more than four times. The wait time is "long," and it's poorly organized. You have to write the order on a piece of paper and then the waitresses come and ask if anything is missing. It's up to you, not the customers, to make up for it. I'd been there years ago, but today I've found it to be worse. Never again Good food

23/09/2025: The Chinese owner is very nice and welcoming. The Chinese food is delicious, and the espresso is excellent.

29/07/2025: Two years later: the food is still good, the restaurant has been revamped, and the atmosphere is very nice and clean. Excellent service and very friendly staff. The menu has been updated with new dishes. Yes, you can order everything online on your smartphone at the restaurant. No chipped dishes! I highly recommend this new culinary experience. 👍

The dough is light, fragrant, and always well-risen, topped with fresh, top-quality ingredients that truly make all the difference. The restaurant is welcoming and well-maintained, ideal for both a dinner with friends and an evening with family. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to make guests feel at home. Every time I return, I find the same passion and authentic flavor that make this pizzeria one of the best in the area.

25/08/2025: I agree with the previous reviewer. €4 per piece for takeout is excessive. I urge the owners to update the price poster where it says €3.

25/08/2025: Deeply disappointed. Thinking back to several years ago, I find the truffles smaller, the fillings minimal, and the prices have almost tripled. I understand the inflation, but there seems to have been a dramatic change in direction in the business. The truffles aren't like they used to be, but they're still good, but like others, so I'll go elsewhere for future purchases given the price.
