16/12/2025: Excellent granita and superb, very soft brioche

19/08/2025: Been here a couple of times, limited choice and (each time) they made us wait for at least 30 minutes *each time*. People who came later got it before us. The excuse was that they mixed up the orders. But it’s the third time this happened. They’re totally disorganised (owner always chatting), and friendliness is something from a different dimension. Said this, the quality of the products (gelato and granita) is excellent.

12/10/2025: A great place for young people! Scalea needs clubs like this. It would be great if there were more of them. I recommend it.

25/07/2026: Wow this place is just amazing!! Such very friendly staff , extremely helpful with us not speaking Italian ( sorry ) coffees , pastries for our breakfasts were just amazing!! 31/03/2026: I went with a group of 10 people following a recommendation. The place was clean, but the tables were so wobbly that we had to ask for one to be replaced. The waiter was very hasty and lacked any empathy; he seemed to be in a hurry to go home (it was 8:00 PM). The pizzas were average, but they were accompanied by a good beer. Only upon leaving did we receive a warm welcome from the owner, who offered us some amaro. Prices were normal.

01/08/2026: They spoke English. They welcomed us and were very nice. The food was great.

21/07/2026: Takeout. The stuffed focaccia is really good! You can stay overnight at the B&B upstairs. Very convenient for those leaving early on the train. The owner is kind and helpful.

12/07/2026: On our way back from the beach, we stopped for dinner at this relaxing agriturismo. The location is beautiful, with games for children, excellent appetizers and main courses, and good service. However, ordering a slice of swordfish and only having low-quality olive oil (sachets of a BLEND of EU-sourced oils) is a disappointment.

24/05/2026: Everything was delicious! The fish was incredibly fresh and the portions were generous. We had two spectacular fried fish dishes and a homemade pasta with ragù that tasted just like home-made food. The guy who served us was incredibly kind and helpful. The prices were truly reasonable, especially considering you'll leave feeling incredibly full... with stomachs bursting! 😂 Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

11/12/2025: Via Vai Belvedere is a welcoming place with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen serves well-prepared dishes, using fresh ingredients and simple yet thoughtful combinations. The pizzas and quicker options are also delicious. The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the view adds an extra touch to the experience. A practical and pleasant place for a quiet dinner.

Among the various delicacies, the must-try is the stew (prepared with meticulous care and attention, faithful to the traditional Belvedere recipe) and the truly exceptional and tasty sfogliatelle. Kindness and great professionalism.

09/06/2026: I urge everyone to avoid establishments that show support for an aggressor state. While looking for a restaurant with a nice view, I found Lido Sara - Ristorante Il Capriccio on Google Maps. However, looking at the photos and the location, I noticed the Russian flag. I find it surprising to see a restaurant in Italy displaying not the Italian flag, but the flag of a country that is waging a war of aggression against Ukraine and continues to cause civilian suffering and casualties. For this reason, I have decided not to visit this restaurant. Many people these days choose where to eat not only based on the cuisine or the view, but also on the values ​​a business stands for. Unfortunately, with such choices, the restaurant loses potential customers.

06/09/2025: We came straight from the airport here when we were on our way. We chose this restaurant based on the reviews. A little disappointing, Mega slow service, everything took an hour to get the food and an extra 30 minutes each time to get the bill and other things. Didn't get the pizza even though there was a large selection of different ones on the list. They only make them in the evening. Not going to continue.

04/09/2025: It's home! A beautiful property where peace and relaxation reign supreme. Large, spacious, and spotlessly clean rooms. The staff is friendly and always ready to meet your every need. A special thanks to Katia and the entire staff. They made us feel right at home. Everything was beautiful, I highly recommend it, and we'll see you soon!

22/02/2026: I was really disappointed, I ordered a cake with "Happy Birthday" written on it, it looked like it had been written by a third grader, the taste was nothing special. I WILL NEVER MAKE A CAKE FROM THIS PASTRY AGAIN.

24/11/2025: A truly excellent pastry shop in the area. The almond pastries are SUPERB. Kudos to the cleanliness and the atmosphere. I'll gladly return.

08/09/2025: Despite being a state-of-the-art facility with helpful and friendly staff, it is poorly maintained. Maintenance and cleaning are lacking, access is in terrible condition, and the bathrooms are closed.

07/09/2025: September 2025, the cable car closes at 4pm. It's scandalous, it's been done specifically to make people go there in the morning to have their meals. But honestly, rather than let someone from the area rip me off, as a Calabrian "resident in Calabria," I say that under these conditions, I'll take my money to another region where I'm treated better and the prices are better, where tourists are treated with kid gloves. Goodbye, never again.
