11/08/2024: Siamo stati in vacanza a Tropea e capitati per caso a pranzo al lido tropical ci siamo ritornati altre due volte. Buona la cucina con ogni giorno aggiunte di piatti diversi personale gentilissimo e paziente prezzi nella media. Sicuramente tra i migliori

(Se si può definire cenare il non mangiare) .Probabilmente un buon stabilimento balneare (non posso giudicare) ma assolutamente sconsigliato per la ristorazione. Poca scelta,Qualità dei piatti discutibile, e Prezzi alti. Unica nota positiva il servizio cordiale. . Una vera delusione.

We immediately pointed this out to the waiter and were told there was nothing they could do about it. We point this out to another waiter and he tells us that the small portions can only be added to the extras and that there was nothing they could do. Without words at all and it has happened other times too... it's a shame because the pizza is quite good and the environment is quiet.

26/08/2024: Locale inadeguato, cibo pessimo con prezzi altissimi. Servizio con personale non all'altezza, proprietario tutto dovrebbe fare fuori che la ristorazione, forse aprire i lettini al lido sarebbe più adatto a lui.

Well-treated and excellent Caffè Aiello, education and professionalism can be seen from the first moment you enter! I will definitely go or order a tong one of these evenings or have a quick lunch, to be able to give 5 stars to the food. Outdoor tables, in the city center, average quality/price. A well-kept environment in both pop and vintage style, the aquarium present in the clean and well-kept room, live goldfish and the idea of ​​putting a slice of everyday life in the city center is fantastic. When you enter given the details you almost feel at home!

11/08/2024: It all started off badly because after having booked for 6 when we arrived on site we were booked for a table for 3 people, but it can happen, we order 5 mixed grills, a hamburger, 5 portions of fried potatoes and one of ash potatoes. After a long wait for grills, 2 extremely generous ones are brought, after about twenty minutes they bring us dishes which we discover are 5 portions divided into two sections to be divided (if they had been brought to the center of the table and not to the first two people seated perhaps we could have guessed something), the fact is that the dishes had to be brought first, unfortunately we had to send them back almost entirely as they were completely overcooked, the consistency reminded us of the soles of my shoes, the hamburger was good, the most total suffering it is attenuated only by a platter of ham and mortadella brought while you wait. We will never see the 5 single portion fried potatoes while the single portion of ash potatoes will be x5 on the receipt. At this point we are offered a first course which however we are terrified of ordering. We end lunch by choosing to order some watermelon watermelon and then three coffees. Only two coffees will arrive at the table but we will immediately point out the mistake to the waiter. In the end we paid €80 for a hamburger, a portion of potatoes, a coke and a bottle of local wine. I strongly advise against the place and instead advise the owners to take a nice swim in the sea to freshen up.

Catfish photos, "Svetlana 5km away" style, we got frozen and tasteless (and strange too) stuff, very few of which we really didn't get full of. I recommend other places, trust me.

10/08/2024: Aperitivo in famiglia, tutto molto buono e ricco. Olive, tacos, tranci di pizza croissant salati, cous cous....ragazzo gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. Ogni anno per le ferie torniamo a lido e torniamo da Byblos!!!

Among other things, she got angry, making an annoyed gesture with her hands, in front of us, simply because we said very politely and calmly that a dish had not arrived. Nobody forces her to work if she doesn't want to. We are polite people otherwise, if it had been someone else he could very well have started useless discussions.

18/08/2024: Personale molto cordiale ma cibo decisamente da migliorare. L'impostazione c'è ma i sapori o mancano o non sono ben bilanciati, così come le consistenze. Con un po' di impegno ce la possono fare ma al momento il prezzo non è assolutamente in linea con l'offerta. La parte esterna sulla strada non è il massimo e la mancanza di parcheggio non aiuta. La sufficienza va alla passione e all'impegno ma per il conto presentato a fronte di quanto servito, direi no, non ci siamo.
