09/02/2026: I really wanted to eat here, recommended by colleagues nearby. It confirmed everything I'd heard about the quality of the food, the provenance, and the preparation of the ingredients. The place is very welcoming, as are the hostess and her waiter. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

10/12/2025: A very well-kept and welcoming trattoria in the historic center of Aiello Calabro. We were a group of friends; they served a generous appetizer, then we ordered some first courses. The cold cuts were standard; I really liked the cheeses, but they were tiny pieces. There were some vegetables—broccoli, carrots, squash, and onion—that didn't make me say "wow." I tried two first courses: tagliatelle with truffle, which I thought was a little salty and a bit loose; tagliatelle with guanciale and fennel, which were really good! Of course, it's a matter of taste. Friendly and courteous service. Excellent bill!

04/11/2025: Today we went to this typical tavern, the appetizer was superb, tagliatelle with freshly picked porcini mushrooms... excellent... what can I say, everything was very good... the bill was reasonable... we will definitely be back...

04/02/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant and the food was good. The problem was the waitress's unfortunate outburst. It was dessert time and she placed the plate in front of me. She smiled and said, "Did I see correctly?" Everyone at the table stopped to listen to what was happening. I asked, "What?" And she said, "Are you waiting?" My answer was, "No." She said, "Oh, so I guessed wrong. I'll have the liqueur added to your dessert as per the recipe." Imagine my embarrassment at being mistaken for a pregnant woman, with everyone at the table listening to what we were saying. Spoiler alert: it was pre-menstrual water retention, which is a physiological phenomenon and shouldn't be the concern of the wait staff. There could be a thousand reasons why a person has abdominal swelling: constipation, colitis, endometriosis, etc., and it's certainly not the waitress's job to point it out to everyone. There are also many ways to find out if someone can't eat foods with liqueur: ask the person to move away from the table and speak aside, point out at the table that there is liqueur in the food. But do I have to suggest how to use common sense and a little tact with people? Is it possible that in 2026 comments are still made about women's bodies, and by a woman at that? I wanted to tell her these things about people, but she didn't even bother to apologize, she continued to... Laughing around the place as if nothing had happened. Do you think that with words you hurt people and ruin an evening, embarrassing me among friends and colleagues? Or do you think that with a laugh everything will be fixed? The other waiters were kind and discreet, as befits their role. I recommend a course for her on how to treat customers and how to fix your mistakes. Pretending nothing has happened is never a good thing.

10/09/2025: I've been away for quite some time, but last night I had the pleasure of returning. A pleasant late-summer evening, the pizza was superb, even the fried foods. Fantastic location, very well-maintained, and the rooms were even larger and more comfortable. The only downside of the evening, unfortunately, was the lack of communication between the dining room and the pizzeria regarding orders. While we were quietly enjoying our appetizer, the pizza arrived. Truly unpleasant. We had it left on the table anyway, but by the time we ate it, it had gone cold. I should point out that there was no confusion, especially considering it was a late-summer evening.

11/02/2026: A little off the beaten track, halfway up the hill from the town. A warm and professional welcome. Flavorful, traditional cuisine. The cleanliness of the dining room is striking: you could eat off the floor! ;-) We went on the recommendation of three customers from a bar on the main street. The owner's kindness alone is worth the trip!

09/03/2026: Excellent gelato shop on Corso Mazzini! Sicilian flavors, with a pure Cosenza flavor! Try the Sicilian cassata/zeppola gelato mix! Excellent coffee too!

17/03/2026: We had a Calabrian aperitivo and a sandwich with drinks. Overall, it was the restaurant in Reggio where we ate the least well; it was very—too much?—rustic. Perhaps we chose poorly from a menu that appealed to us. Very nice inside, pleasant outside in good weather. Cover charge too expensive.

10/10/2025: Good pizza....the service leaves a lot to be desired....after ordering with Just Eat two hours pass I call the pizzeria and they tell me to wait another hour because the lady doesn't know how to use the App 😒

24/08/2025: Very poor service. Ordered dishes were forgotten. Drinks were sometimes only brought after being asked. Waiting time for two pizzas was two hours. The pizza dough was the worst I've had in Italy.
