08/01/2026: I went to L'Oste d'Arberia a few days ago for lunch with friends. Calling it a restaurant is an understatement: the attention the entire staff showed us, from the welcome to the tour of the entire establishment, was something that went beyond the food. The menu follows seasonality, and each dish, conceived and presented with passion, expresses the local area in which this establishment is immersed. It goes without saying, of course, that everything was excellent. I will absolutely return.

28/01/2026: Spectacular dinner! The menu is refined and varied, with interesting and unique dishes (it really stands out compared to other restaurants in the Vibo Valentia area). The cod pinsa and the egg and truffle crostini were truly exceptional! There's a wide selection of wines, especially from the South. Highly recommended for those looking for a different dinner in a welcoming atmosphere. The owner is an excellent host, very kind and knowledgeable about his dishes, and is very willing to adapt them to personal tastes and food intolerances. We'll definitely be back!

28/08/2025: If it were possible to give it 10 stars, I would. A property in the heart of Tropea, just steps from the seafront and offering every comfort. A gem. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Tropea, enjoy the town, the crystal-clear waters, and stay in an oasis of peace. Recommended for both families and couples. Book now—you won't regret it!

19/08/2025: The restaurant is an excellent choice for those who love authentic flavors, especially Tropea onions, the star of a richly varied appetizer and two first courses, one of which can easily be veganized by omitting the pecorino cheese without sacrificing flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to every need, and the owner was particularly thoughtful, bringing me freshly picked figs after noticing my interest in the ones next to the cake. The location is welcoming and well-kept, and the dishes are refined and flavorful. The experience was very positive and delicious, although the price was high, commensurate with the quality and attentiveness of the service.

22/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this pizzeria, and I can say it was a truly enjoyable experience. The place is extremely welcoming and clean, with a warm, family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owners are exceptional: helpful, friendly, and always attentive to their customers' every need and request. The same goes for the entire staff, whose professionalism and smiles made our evening even more enjoyable. As for the menu, I can only describe it as exceptional. Each dish is prepared with extreme care, and you can immediately see the attention paid to the pairings and the quality of the ingredients used. The pizza is perfect, with fresh, tasty ingredients. I can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try excellent pizza in a homey atmosphere.

29/12/2025: We celebrated our eighteenth birthday here and it was a truly wonderful experience. The location is well-kept, elegant, and very evocative, perfect for a special event. The food was excellent, high-quality, and enjoyed by all the guests. The staff was helpful and the organization impeccable. Highly recommended for parties and important events!

20/10/2025: We chose Palia's Hotel as a strategic base for exploring Calabria's parks by bike, and it was a great choice. Ample parking, including a covered car park, a private garage for bicycles (with tools for minor maintenance available), comfortable and clean rooms, and the kindness and enthusiasm of Roberto (the owner), who, along with his wife (an excellent pastry chef), recommended and prepared superb breakfasts for us, making themselves available for any needs we had. It's a shame they no longer have a restaurant, but the bar is well-stocked, and there's a large display of excellent local products you can purchase to create a wonderful memory of these beautiful lands. Thanks again.

22/02/2026: We stayed at this hotel for three nights by chance, and it was a lovely surprise: a beautifully maintained and spacious property, impeccably managed by the owners, and where the food is excellent. The room was large and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was plentiful and full of homemade cakes, and the dinner was always varied and excellent. Right next to the hotel is a beautiful property, also owned by the owners, featuring a playground with inflatables for children. It's spotless and very well-maintained: a great way to keep the kids entertained after a morning on the ski slopes. Highly recommended.

22/01/2026: Our visit to Osteria San Francesco on June 8th, 2025, was a wonderful experience. Francesco welcomed us warmly and offered us seats on the terrace. I had the impression he was a little surprised that we wanted to eat there with 10 people. He immediately called his brother Massimo, who prepared the kitchen. Several other helpers also arrived to assist Massimo with the cooking. The Osteria is somewhat hidden away on a small, steeply rising road. The dining rooms aren't very large, but there's also a grotto, a room carved directly into the mountainside. Francesco and Massimo are very friendly and they made our evening truly enjoyable. The food, prepared by Massimo, was excellent. It's safe to say that the Osteria team knows how to cook. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

08/03/2026: We've been to Flag several times and have had the opportunity to try both sweet and savory dishes, as well as various beverages. Everything has always been delicious, refined yet impeccable, and made with top-quality ingredients. The place offers a chance to indulge in a slower pace of life and enjoy a conversation with pleasant background music. The staff is attentive and friendly. I understand that it's the only place in town offering such a high-quality, unique breakfast/brunch experience, but the prices are absolutely justified by the quality of the service. 23/02/2026: Stunning venue. Ideal for breakfast, brunch, or aperitifs. I've been several times and had the pleasure of trying the avocado toast special, as well as the afternoon tea. A positive and refined experience. Friendly staff, especially the curly-haired brunette, always ready to entertain. The selection of flowers was excellent. I received a beautiful bouquet, prepared together on the same day. Original and unique flowers. The venue design is 10/10.

22/02/2026: In the mountains near San Donato di Ninea, there's a mountain hut, Baita Malieni, family-run first by Luigi (the father) and now (with his father, but not necessarily) by his son Giuseppe. Both are exceptional, welcoming guests with the same warmth that's found inside the hut: finally, a truly heated restaurant/pizzeria. We ate delicious dishes: from appetizers to first courses, meat-based main courses, pizza, and desserts. There was nothing that wasn't a delight. Everything was divine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
