Friendly and helpful staff, clean environment. It's a shame about the fried fish (€18), which I have to say was very rubbery and not crispy at all. The fries, however, were really good. I recommend changing the mayonnaise brand, as it was very acidic. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.

I ordered two fried foods and a portion of fries to go. The portions were very good, as was the quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was the first time I've been to a restaurant where customers greeted me as I left, a sign that the atmosphere is exceptional.

La Regina in Salento is one of those places that stays in your heart. Here you'll find excellent dishes prepared with passion, with bold and authentic flavors, just like the chef-owner, who puts character, heart, and love into every creation. Together with her husband, they create something special: they make you feel at home, welcomed like family. You can clearly sense the research, hard work, commitment, and passion behind every dish and every detail. I recommend it not only for its quality and authenticity, but for the wonderful human experience it conveys. A place where you eat excellently and feel good. Go there, you'll eat wonderfully! We'll definitely be back.

24/04/2026: A very positive experience. A wide variety of meats awaits you as soon as you enter the grill restaurant, with a fairly large counter. The display case is clean and the selection is vast. We had lunch there. Highly recommended, near the main square in Frigole.
24/02/2026: A top-notch butcher shop. When we come from Rome (where we can't find the same quality), we dedicate at least two or three dinners to Graziano's meat. Highly recommended.

30/07/2026: A unique, very relaxing atmosphere where you can dine under ancient olive trees, with excellent, top-quality meats and more, delicious pizzas, and very friendly and helpful staff. It's my go-to place for dinner near Lecce.
