Although other tables were available (no reservations), we were assigned a table that wouldn't have accommodated two regular-sized plates. 3. When we wanted to order 1x tagliere salumi, 1x orologio di formaggio, and 1x crostini misti, a total of €34 without a drink, we were told we had to order at least €15 each... We looked at each other a bit perplexed and hesitated... And besides, they didn't do antipasti alone. We got up and left. I've never experienced anything like that before. ... Oh yes, and ATM payments only from €35. Italian law clearly says otherwise... And when it's €1...

20/06/2025: We happened to pass by, we stopped for a moment of relaxation and ... the coffees and cappuccinos are very good and the context is extraordinary! We consumed in the splendid setting of the historic center of the town! The staff is kind and efficient.

02/07/2025: What can I say, a historic Eugubino venue that has been open for a generation now, has experienced many moments, entertained and involved thousands of people of all ages. Everyone can find a comfortable place in this venue. Alessio, the owner, not only has expertise on anything you want to drink but is engaging and knowledgeable. The cuisine is that of a bistro but not for this reason not well-kept... On the contrary. Located in the perfect center of Gubbio, it is a lively venue and deserves a very respectable after dinner.

03/01/2025: Pantagruel Ristorante eccellente. E quel nome e’ un impegno preciso, che incuriosisce e che non tradisce le aspettative. Già leggendo il menu sale l’acquolina in bocca, le proposte sono piatti raffinati negli accostamenti, ma anche di gran gusto. Ci sono tutti gli ingredienti d’eccellenza di un territorio ricco e generoso e dagli antipasti ai dessert e’ davvero tutto curato e buonissimo. Buona anche la cantina (anche se consiglierei di guardare anche un po’ più a sud per arricchire la proposta vini nazionali). Gentilissimo, cordiale e disponibile lo staff, che ti fa sentire a casa e questo fa la sua bella differenza. Consigliatissimo, noi ci torniamo molto volentieri la seconda sera.

If two waitresses tell more than one customer of a group (a kindergarten end-of-year dinner) to go to hell (verbally and with gestures) and also treat 5-year-old children rudely, and if then one of these waitresses slaps the one who complained about the terrible service, and if then the head waiter, after the physical aggression, doesn't even offer a minimum discount and actually washes his hands of it... I don't know about you... but would you go to a place like this? At this point the mediocre quality of the food takes a back seat.

31/05/2025: They made me feel pampered: 50 minutes late on the order. After apologizing for the delay due to a problem with the order, they sent us the order in a short time. The most appreciated thing, uncommon and never due, was the discount on the bill, again the apologies and also the coffees offered. A good review is the minimum for an exception that should be the rule of kindness and professionalism.

29/05/2025: La sangria è buonissima, e le pietanze pure di più 😀 Abbiamo preso un antipasto misto, straordinariamente vario, e soprattutto con ogni elemento cucinato con estrema maestria: in ogni boccone si poteva apprezzare la grande dedizione della cuoca, nel produrre i suoi manicaretti. Poi, una paella alla valenciana, abbondante e squisita. Infine, un dolce millefoglie alla crema chantilly con le fragole, semplicemente superlativo. Il servizio è stato preciso, attento e veloce; non avremmo potuto desiderare di meglio. Il locale è raccolto ed arredato con gusto raffinato, ci sono molti bei riferimenti alla vita e cultura spagnola. Ci ritornerò sicuramente a breve, con i familiari e gli amici più cari, e nel frattempo mi sento di onsigliarlo, anzi di raccomandarlo caldamente a tutti 😀

06/04/2025: I have been going to this restaurant for a long time and my mistake was to almost always order the paella, because it was excellent. Then one day we started to taste the other dishes too and we realized what we had missed... Obviously we will make up for it next time... wonderful starters, excellent and well cooked fish, top notch desserts. Not to mention the courtesy, kindness and professionalism in the dining room and in the kitchen. I recommend booking as the place is not very large and you risk not finding a seat given the turnout. Upon request, they also do takeaway with on-site collection. Our compliments and keep it up!!! See you soon!!
