22/08/2025: The atmosphere was very casual; we ordered the platter, which was very good, and a good first course. The first courses were heated up on the spot, but the quality was really good. The service was perfect! Definitely worth repeating in the future.

13/08/2025: We stopped off for lunch on our way through Tuscany. Shared a meat and cheese board which was excellent and showcased the best of local produce. We were made to feel really welcomed on our visit and the prices are extremely reasonable.

The staff is nice and above all, the food is really good. I chose it almost by chance, I had no idea of ​​the setup, let's say I hit the jackpot, both my partner and I are very satisfied! 😁

Furthermore, the staff is entirely made up of young, smiling, and friendly people, and we were very satisfied with this! As for the food, it's not bad at all; the only thing is, for the price we paid, we expected a little more. The spaghetti with tuna and pistachio pesto had a faint pistachio flavor, but the fried food was nothing to write home about! (The only flaw is that they don't serve fries on the side.) As for the crumble cake, we think it's a bit excessive to pay €7 for a slice. Overall, a positive experience, but we expected a little more!

14/09/2025: We met Alessandro on our way back from a hike up Monte Grosso. We entered his restaurant and he welcomed us with a glass of wine. We immediately connected with a French couple and another gentleman whose name I don't remember. He shared anecdotes with us as a native Elban, with a profound knowledge of the area, resulting in an unforgettable snack. We immediately booked dinner that evening. We had a delicious meal, excellent service, and a wonderful view. Thanks to Alessandro and all his staff.

22/09/2025: Spectacular location with a terrace overlooking the sea, overlooking Sonnino Castle and the entire coast all the way to Castiglioncello. On clear days, you can admire the islands of the Tuscan archipelago. The service is excellent, with friendly and professional staff. The quality and variety of the dishes is fantastic, the fish is incredibly fresh. The wine selection is equally impressive. 5 stars!

10/10/2025: An informal restaurant, divided into two small rooms, one inside and one outside under a closed gazebo. The tables were too close together, and I barely managed to sit down. There's no paper or QR code menu; the menu is spoken without specifying the prices of the various dishes. There's also no wine list, and to choose carefully, you have to get up from your table to personally inspect the refrigerator. Despite this, the wine I requested wasn't brought to me. The food itself wasn't bad; once I'd finished the first course, I put my silverware on my plate, as is customary, and they weren't brought back when the second course arrived. I had to ask for it and then had to get up to be given it. Once dinner was finished, we asked the waiter to prepare the unfinished dish for us to take away, and I had to wait half an hour before getting up again to request the same thing. It's a shame about the food, but the service needs a complete overhaul; it's seriously inadequate.

10/10/2025: Wow, very delicious food, especially the spicy octopus as well the typical Tuscan dishes. We and our kids loved it, our kids are still hungry for the clams fritto misto. Best lunch without any tourists🫣 only locals 👍 bellissima e tippitoppi

17/09/2025: Excellent experience for those looking for a classic trattoria of the past, unfortunately there are fewer and fewer of them. The staff are attentive and friendly, the portions are generous, just the way I like them. I ate an excellent cacciucco, truly compliments.
