28/10/2023: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante dopo aver letto diverse recensioni, abbiamo preso come antipasto due zuppe di pesce, come primo due tonnarelli con gamberone, bottarga di tonno e salicornia e due tagliolini al nero di seppia, come secondo ci siamo divisi una grigliata al forno con patate. Abbiamo concluso con un tiramisù fatto dallo chef Vincenzo sia al caffè e al triplo cioccolato. Siamo stati molto soddisfatti sia per il servizio, per la qualità del cibo e per il conto pagato . Sicuramente un posto da ritornare..

18/10/2023: I had smiles on my face throughout the entire meal. The fish soup (to be booked in advance) was truly exciting: generous portion, quality raw materials, prepared and worked truly with heart. Super attentive and friendly service, complete with bibs, wipes, shell plates and fish cleaning plates (which are immediately replaced when they fill up). Very rustic and convivial environment, as it should be for a tavern. I absolutely recommend it

01/11/2023: This place is a must visit for all seafood lovers. One of the best places we dined in during our month long trip in Italy. The seafood is exceptionally fresh and well cooked and the dishes were perfectly seasoned. We loved the mussels and the calamari was one of the best I've ever had

Antipasto di pesce della casa TOP abbondante, ottimo e originale, i primi: amatriciana di gamberi e paccheri cacciuccati.. da leccarsi i baffi(portato a casa perché abbondante). Da TORNARCI!! 70 EURO 2 ANTIPASTI E PRIMO 1 LT E MEZZO.VINO 1 ACQUA E 2 LIQUORI. SOLDI SPESI BENE

06/04/2024: I cannot otherwise give other stars after the owner, upon my request for a reservation for lunch for tomorrow for three people, sidelined me by telling me that she had 140 seats for lunch (not answering my questions about the possible capacity of the restaurant and possibly indicating to me that my request was ignored any other times to access..... having taken note of this I have already written a negative review on trip advisor and if anyone can tell me I will write it elsewhere. Don't marginalize those who bring you money like the 140 customers...... .. no they pay like me, :( :( :(

04/04/2024: Obviously the saying "clothes don't make the man" fits perfectly in this case. A long-standing location but as soon as you sit down you understand that you are in the right place... And obviously Cacciucco reigns supreme. Nice we will be back and recommend it! The only downside is the parking...

01/04/2024: My brother and I visited Elba island from England, we came here (knowing little Italian) and were blown away by how welcome we felt, the quick service, amazing prices and immaculate taste. Definitely the best food on the island.

04/04/2024: I was there for a quick lunch with a child. The food was okay, but served sparingly and overpriced, and we didn't feel satisfied. I asked the waitress if the bread was complimentary. She said YES, of course, and then had the audacity to charge an extra 7 euros for bread and service. I tried to ask her something after we had ordered, but then I was no longer of interest because we weren't "big spenders. "When I inquired about the extra 7 euros, she became angry and said that's how it's done everywhere, pointing at the tablecloth and napkin, emphasizing the word "service." I tried to politely explain to her that I want to be able to choose how much I want to tip, and that 33% of the bill is way too much. It should have cost 20 euros but ended up being 27. I understand it might be reasonable for a larger group who ordered more, but for two people and a small lunch... no way. Everyone can have bad days at work, but only people with a service mindset should work in service professions.I do not recommend this place, and don't be fooled by the nice view.

10/10/2023: Dopo un'angosciante viaggetto scavallando il volterraio siamo arrivati in questo buon ristorante dove abbiamo apprezzato il menù e logicamente quanto abbiamo ordinato: tutto buonissimo; altrettanto apprezzato il servizio e la professionalità del personale e della cucina. Ci torneremo senza alcun dubbio.

06/01/2024: Exceptional experience! We had a simple aperitif where the environment allowed us to relax and spend a pleasant evening. Excellent menu and delicious cocktails, friendly and smiling staff. The prices are not exactly cheap but you pay for the quality! We will definitely be back!
