02/12/2025: "A tasty haven among shadows and wonders" An overall positive experience, albeit with a few downsides. The prices aren't the friendliest, and the restaurant's great reputation risks being a bit over the top. To find a table, you need to be patient, pray a lot, or arrive way too early. The owner alternates between grumpy and less-than-welcoming tones, in keeping with the restaurant's name. Service is extremely slow and sparse, and the space is small, creating a very annoying reverberating effect, making it extremely loud. That said, the place is worth it. The cuisine is solid and authentic, and especially the octopus granfia appetizer is worth the visit: a gigantic portion, full and authentic flavor, and very simple preparation—oil, lemon, parsley—but masterfully executed. It's the restaurant's strong point and the main reason many return. In short: there are a few flaws in the overall experience, but the quality of the signature dish makes up for it. Recommended, especially for those who want to try one of the best octopus dishes in the area.

16/11/2025: I went for lunch (November 16th) with my family, we ate really well. The atmosphere was very nice and well-kept, the service was excellent, especially the girls serving us who were friendly and cheerful. Many thanks to all the staff at MANGIAFOCO, highly recommended and we will gladly return.

12/09/2025: Something wonderful! We stopped in the town center looking for these sweets, and the cream inside was a mistake. We arrived at Pasticceria Macchioni and found this wonder, made on site. The cream is like a milky cloud, with a natural cream aroma, not the chemicals found in some places. I highly recommend it, and the coffee is delicious too! Don't miss this place!

31/08/2025: Top pastry shop, very nice lady at the cash register, and then...."the blond who drives the world crazy", the added value, it seems to have come out of a Tarantino film, it seems serious, but don't stop at the first impression 😉

11/08/2025: For years, whenever we're in the area, we've been driving to Campglia specifically for Chiara's ice cream. In fact, I can't think of any better ice cream! One of the rare features—besides the unusual and perfect ice cream combinations—is the judicious use of sweetness. Nothing is masked, but sweetened just enough to highlight the variety of flavors and allow them to unfold. In any larger city, this little ice cream shop would be a crowded and barely affordable place for gourmets. We sincerely hope that Chiara's gem in Campiglia Marittima can maintain its commercial viability!

17/10/2025: Perfect express fish soup! Don't complain about the 40-minute wait... or make a reservation! Thanks to the staff who start working at 7:00 AM to prepare the homemade bread you can enjoy at dinner ❤️

10/10/2025: What can I say? The chef, with whom we personally reserved a table yesterday, has learned his craft. The "fish soup" is top-notch. The tomato sauce "soup" has a truly perfect balance between the acidity of the tomatoes and the sugar, which brings them to life. Simply brilliant. Mama Sita, in a nutshell. It couldn't be better. It was just as delicious from bite to bite as you couldn't achieve it yourself. The recommended wine complemented the taste experience positively. We had the soup for one person and shared it because we wanted a second dish. We had the homemade ravioli. That was the crowning glory. The homemade sauce, too, was a gourmet's dream. A Michelin-starred restaurant could add this chef to its menu once a month. Provided the best fresh produce is used. He buys fresh produce every morning, as he told me. So make a reservation and enjoy—it's worth every cent. And to top it all off, there was a lemon sorbet. For the lady at the table, it's normal, and for me, it's vodka and a cafe doppio. Unfortunately, it's not in the picture.

01/11/2025: Exceptional seafood. My wife, mother-in-law, and I had the pici with cuttlefish and truffle, mixed antipasto, and caciucco (fish stew). The cod and anchovies were phenomenal; the mussels tasted like the sea. The cod was simply sublime. The caciucco was exceptional. I was truly satisfied. I will definitely return. Highly recommended.

29/10/2025: As a family of three, we finally found the Cantina after a long search and enjoyed lemon ravioli with squid, Tuscan-style cod, salt cod, and lemon chicken. Highly recommended.

09/12/2025: Artisan pastries, little choice in the variety of pastries, many types of croissants but otherwise not much choice, quality of the croissant is average, nothing exceptional, the filling is good but this too is nothing exceptional, cappuccino made well
