15/01/2025: Terrible in everything, rude staff (the bar boy) as for the food I took a sandwich (old) I threw it away. Never again. It goes without saying that fresh things when they are at least 4 days old.

08/04/2025: Very friendly service , we enjoyed coffee and croissants there on several mornings on our visit to Lucca. Gorgeous little piazza too.

31/03/2025: 3 brioches, 1 succo, 1 caffe’, 1 acqua. Totale 19 Eu. Serve aggiungere altro? Nemmeno fossimo stati in centro a Milano (dove vivo)

Despite the influx of people and the chaos we found: - Wide gluten free choice - Abundant platters and appetizers for the aperitif - Last (but not least) VERONICA was kind, thoughtful and professional! Every club needs someone like her!! Give her a raise because she really deserves it! 😉 We will DEFINITELY be back! A greeting

Nonostante l’affluenza di persone e il caos abbiamo trovato: - Ampia scelta gluten free - Abbondanti taglieri e stuzzichini per l’aperitivo - Ultima (ma non per importanza) VERONICA è stata gentile, premurosa e professionale! In tutti i locali ci vorrebbe qualcuno come lei!! Datele un aumento perché se lo merita davvero! 😉 Torneremo SICURAMENTE! Un saluto

01/01/2025: A place that goes from a small shop to a small trattoria but with lots of good food to enjoy in a nice atmosphere. I will definitely stop there again.

02/12/2024: Stop for a quick sandwich, good in fact they ended up being 2. Maybe a little expensive considering they were four slices of bread with ham and cheese. Total quick lunch 2 sandwiches, glass of wine and coffee €16.00

28/02/2025: The Foresta restaurant in Marina di Pisa is a historic name that once represented luxury and culinary excellence. An exclusive place, frequented by those who could afford the best. Today, however, it seems to live more on reputation than substance. Undoubtedly, the strong point of the restaurant is its privileged position: overlooking the sea, it offers a splendid view, perfect for a romantic dinner or for a special occasion. The equipment is also elegant, maintaining a certain standard of refinement that recalls the glories of the past. Unfortunately, it is precisely in the cuisine that the experience did not live up to expectations. Considering the high price, one would expect excellent raw materials and dishes without defects, but this was not the case. The dishes did not shine either in taste or freshness, leaving a feeling of disappointment compared to the level that the restaurant would like to represent. The cost is very high, and this in itself would not be a problem, if it were justified by impeccable cuisine. But when the dishes are not up to par, the final bill is disproportionate to the experience. The Foresta restaurant remains a place of great charm due to its location and atmosphere, but the quality of the food is not aligned with its prestigious past nor with the prices asked. A wasted opportunity for a place that could still be a local restaurant institution.

01/01/2025: Smaller pasta, even from the day before, increased prices, sometimes uneducated staff, often wrong bill (not in favor of the customer)

14/12/2024: For work reasons I often stopped for breakfast with them on Saturdays. I decided to change pastry shop because since the change of management the quality of the products is decidedly poor. Sometimes the pastries for breakfast are made the day before. The staff I know is not qualified and the POS for paying has strangely been broken for months. To be avoided. As far as I'm concerned they can change jobs. I won't go back there anymore

10/12/2024: Well, it's difficult to talk to the staff. they don't know English. I don't know how to use the shower. With tagiatelle with beef I got a steak. good quality. steak with parmesan and lettuce and tomato without salt, pepper or oil.

06/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati a San Giovanni d'Asso per una breve sosta. Abbiamo mangiato una ribollita, dei pici all'aglione e un bel piatto di affettati misti tipici e deliziosi. Ambiente molto molto carino, cortesia del personale, mano femminile assolutamente riscontrabile in tutto, prezzi giusti. Consigliato!

31/12/2024: Ci siamo recati in questo ristorante a pranzo. Ci hanno posizionato davanti a un piccolo camino perché il locale era un po freddo. Abbiamo preso un antipasto (19 euro) da dividere in due. Due calici di vino rosso (9 euro uno). Poi due primi, (tartufo purtroppo finito...) parmigiana di patate e carciofi, tagliolini al limone capperi e alici. Sui primi nulla da dire su quantità e prezzo. Poi un dolce con sfogliatelle e ricotta buona. Avrei dato 4 stelle per la qualità del cibo, ma un paio di cose sono da rivedere. Ho chiesto se l'acqua fosse stata troppo frizzante e mi é stato gentilmente detto che eventualmente l'avrebbeeo cambiata senza problemi miscelando. L'ho fatta cambiare ma una volta arrivato a casa lo scontrino riportava il costo di 2 bottiglie d'acqua consumate (2+2 euro)...poi secondo me la quantità di vino versata nel calice era abbastanza esigua, come la porzione di un antipasto da 19 euro mi é sembrata piccola.

17/12/2024: Era da un po di tempo che non ritornavo da Leonardo e Mauro,non è cambiato niente!! La solita gentilezza e competenza, i piatti come al solito non tradiscono!! Che dire avanti sempre così

30/11/2024: Un vero furto...niente di eccezionale anzi veramente molto caro per quello mangiato e servizio pessimo dato mi viene da ridere perché gente c era e vedere che piace prenderlo in tasca fa stupore ..cmq mai più ciao ciao titolari peggio per voi
