04/10/2025: Beautiful, unique, and very attentive to light, tasty, and healthy cuisine. The only risk is sitting outside facing the street due to the fast traffic. But it's a place you'll want to return to.

04/10/2025: There were about 30 of us. We arrived unannounced, but they immediately seated us at our tables. The service was fast and courteous. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone. I tried the grilled chicken: it was good, perfectly cooked, but the coating could have been better, and the accompanying sauce was also tasty. The atmosphere is simple but spacious, with large tables, some of which are round. The prices are also good.

19/10/2025: I unexpectedly found this bar-restaurant to be a real surprise. After spending a couple of hours in the thermal waters, we decided to eat there. The prices were very fair, the portions were generous, and above all, the food was wide and of high quality. I will definitely be back.

02/09/2025: I had dinner at Foresta in August with my husband. The location was beautiful and very evocative! We dined on the outdoor deck, and I have to say that alone was absolutely worth it! The fish is cooked simply to highlight its freshness and excellent quality. In our case, it was pan-fried scorpion fish. The staff was incredibly friendly. They recommended a local white wine, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The price may seem a bit high, but I think it's very reasonable for the quality of the food, the service, and, not to mention, the stunning location! I'll definitely be back before the summer ends for another sunset dinner! Bravo!

22/09/2025: Service: The wine we wanted to drink, which the staff said was a great decision, wasn't available. The bottle that we then ordered was brought to us open, but we couldn't even test it first, so we had to pour the first glass ourselves. The waiter had problems speaking english and was not flexible at all with the dish selection, since many dishes weren't available. We had to pay inside at the register, so with all that in mind, why does one have to pay cover charge? Food: The mozarella in the caprese salad was very jewy and the olive oil and aceto balsamico came in plastic bags, again why cover charge? The fish was okay but bland. The gnocchi were mushy and the shrimp sauce tasted frozen with a weird rotten fish aftertaste. Also the shrimps were cut open and there were scissors of other sea animals in the dish. We had to return it because it was inedible.

19/09/2025: Fish dishes have an unpleasant smell and terrible flavor. The only redeeming feature is the service.

01/09/2025: We celebrated a birthday for a friend, the room was all to ourselves, quite spacious, there was everything, cold cuts, vegetables, cheeses and pasta, not bad, plenty of wine and prosecco.

13/10/2025: It's located in Livorno's Venice neighborhood. We stumbled upon it by chance while exploring the city and stopped for lunch. The food was terrible: the linguine with clams and bottarga was completely untidy, dry, and tasteless; the tortiglioni with mussels was raw and drowned in oil. There was a very long wait. When paying, the bill was calculated (poorly) on a piece of paper. We paid by debit card and issued a receipt (not a detailed receipt). The cost for two first courses, a bottle of water, and a quart of wine (€6) was a whopping €35... I don't recommend it!!!

30/07/2025: Authentic flavors and several vegetarian options. I'd gladly return! The space is small, so I recommend booking.

26/06/2025: We discovered the restaurant spontaneously. The food was delicious, and the staff and chef were very friendly. Overall, it was very pleasant and highly recommended! Traditional and unpretentious. We felt very comfortable. Highly recommended!

21/10/2025: Terrible experience. The Oliver Hotel has been closed for months, but the owners "forgot (???)" to communicate this small detail. So I booked on Expedia, paid immediately (as requested), arrived, and found the hotel closed and up for sale. Luckily, two people who live next door helped me find another place to stay for the night through acquaintances. PS: I immediately reported the mishap to Expedia support via chat, and received a refund two days later.

28/09/2025: Terrible experience, the quality of the raw materials was truly low, as was the hygiene and quality of the service. The meal was excessively expensive. Absolutely not to be repeated. If you say you have excellent quality raw materials, then buy them, because the seafood pasta sauce was worse than what you can buy frozen at a discount store. To respond to your comment, I believe you are referring to another table; there were not three of us, and I personally just tasted the tagliolini allo scoglio, which were decidedly awful, overcooked and flavorless. In fact, I left them on my plate, along with the strange mush and the shells of non-existent crustaceans... Rating for hygiene, courtesy, and food quality: 0

19/09/2025: Terrible food; by the waitress's own admission, some dishes are brought to the restaurant already made! (Especially the children's menus). Extremely salty pasta and flavorless fish—an experience to forget, especially considering the price. In response to the restaurant: I visited on September 15th. A review isn't necessarily published on the day you visit. I would have given it 3 stars just for the service and atmosphere, but given the restaurant's lack of friendliness, both in terms of responding to criticism (and not just mine; I've seen many negative reviews), I'm changing my opinion.
