I stopped for lunch and ate a focaccia with mortadella, chopped pistachios and delicious stracciatella, the girl at the cashier offered me the menu formula with dessert or fruit at a discount. I missed an apple tart that I really liked, the staff were courteous and quick in their service.

Whenever I'm at the station, I always enjoy stopping here. Often for breakfast, because the coffee is very good and the croissants are always fresh. The staff is friendly and professional. I recommend it.

Bar Ponte Vecchio

17/06/2026: The ice cream was delicious! I got cookie in a cone and it was delicious and easy to walk with. It is very close to great views, makes sense because it is near to Ponte Vecchio. The service was fine I guess.
13/06/2026: I was surprised with the bad reviews. It's a turistic place but we had a good experience. We went upstairs and got the balcony table. We had some ciabatta and deserts, as good as anywhere. The employee attending us was very nice and made us confortable. A bit expensive but it's a place really near the Ponte Vecchio, it was expected and we we're fooled.

05/06/2026: This pastry shop, bar, and tobacconist adjacent to the Santa Maria Novella train station was a real discovery! Of course, outside the station, and despite how quickly tourists and travelers can consume food, there's a place that offers quality. I must say it's a good breakfast, with a wide selection of well-made croissants. The coffee is equally good. As for the staff, I found them friendly and smiling. Good value for money, in fact. It's best to check out first and then enjoy your meal. I recommend it, and I'll definitely return on my travels.
04/02/2026: A nice cafe near the train station. Excellent pastries! If you need a quick bite, this is a good place. Coffee is €1.50-€2.50, salads are €8-€10, and pastries are €1-€2.
