22/11/2025: Nice little café – lots of locals but also frequent large tourist groups. Prices are okay, good bread rolls, friendly service.

16/11/2025: Small bar, quite welcoming inside. I had breakfast with a pistachio brioche which was decent. The staff was ok.

14/12/2025: The bar hides an elegant, bright restaurant with frescoed walls and ceilings. From the outside, you'd be hard pressed to tell! I'm leaving this review for the restaurant itself. The dishes are generous and truly excellent. The meat was cooked to perfection (the beef was perfect, the stew was creamy). The side dishes, besides being beautifully presented, were also plentiful and flavorful. We had the spinach, sautéed beautifully in butter, and the grilled vegetables. The prices were fair. Overall, a pleasant surprise. I didn't know these rooms behind the bar existed!!! Oh, I almost forgot, the staff were very kind and the service impeccable. Thank you!!!

04/10/2025: If you’re in a hurry, don’t go — the staff coordination inside is extremely chaotic. I ordered a large cappuccino, and it was the worst coffee I’ve ever had. The food was better.

22/03/2025: Si può avere/gestire un posto molto bello, capiente, nel cuore di una città importante e rinomata, MA se la qualità di prodotti, i costi e soprattutto il servizio offerto non sono all'altezza si va poco lontani..... Purtroppo non sono solita leggere le recensioni dei bar (al contrario delle recensioni su ristoranti e hotel). In genere scelgo guidata dall'istinto alla ricerca di un buon caffè che renda la mia vacanza o il mio soggiorno di lavoro ancora più gradevole. Questa esperienza mi insegna a farlo! Non lo consiglio. Passate oltre.

02/11/2025: We went for lunch today, there were six of us and a five-year-old. I give one star because it's the best. It was an embarrassing experience. We sat down and ordered four appetizers, a penne pasta for the child, and six first courses. 45 minutes for a platter for four and 50 minutes for the child's pasta. A small platter for four people, and they forgot the cheeses. After another 40 minutes, the first courses hadn't arrived, and I went to report it. I was treated rudely by the owner, who raised her voice in front of everyone, embarrassing me. In short, she was rude. A second later, the pici arrived, which were barely edible and cold. We went to the cashier, paid, and spent €194. As we leave, we complain among ourselves, and the cook makes a "quaquaqua" noise while sneering. After the crap he'd served, he should have put down his apron and moved on to other jobs, just like the owners, who weren't able to handle the situation. Please, you guys, avoid it while you're still on time.

19/10/2025: We had a good meal; it wasn't exceptional, but it was perfectly acceptable. There were four of us and we had two pizzas, a Cesar salad, and ravioli. The pizzas were different from what we were used to; instead of the standard flat ones or with a light crust, they were pizza in Teglia Alta, or pan pizza, which isn't uncommon in this region and gives it a more local character. We had four formaggi and a Margarita, which were delicious! The ravioli was fresh with a delicious cheese filling and a topping of a kind of ragu. The Cesar salad was also excellent. The service was friendly; they did their best to speak English, and we managed to get by. The outdoor terrace was nice, but the restaurant was a bit dated, with a dirty, too-small men's restroom.

18/11/2025: I asked for a cappuccino and a croissant. The cappuccino was 5 euros and it was giant. It wasn’t a normal cappuccino at all. It also wasn’t hot. She probably gave me it because I’m a tourist. I just wanted the regular size. I felt scammed.

09/12/2025: Ordered a single scoop of gelato. I want to pay for it and the guy at the register totaled it up to 12.3 euros. I thought he was ringing up someone else's order. I told them that was insane. He says he give me a discount to 10 Euros. A grudgingly paid the €10 and then immediately walked outside and through that cup of gelato in the trash I was so pissed. My wife just had some delicious gelato from a little shop 10 minutes earlier were two scoops which equaled about one of his scoops was only four euros. Where to the wise if you don't see the price posted ask before they scoop. I decided I would show them and post a scathing review on Google only to see that I'm not alone in this. I do feel a bit better now knowing that I'm not the only estupido though in Florence.

09/12/2025: Wish I had checked the reviews before. Food is bad (my stomach had a bad time that afternoon), dirty toilets and very very overpriced! Paid 6€ for a glass of Coca Cola while the bottled ones are only 3,50€. Just a waste of my money and health!

06/10/2025: The owner or the staff are incredibly rude and the prices are outrageous. One flavor of gelato costs 6.50 euros and there's no price guide. They practically just scoop up some ice cream and throw it at you to take. I was so annoyed that I looked up reviews and the ratings are crazy. Please go somewhere else.

19/08/2025: The ice cream was overpriced and the quality was mediocre. Three flavors cost €10, two flavors €8, and one flavor €6. We left the place with the three-flavor one, and we couldn't distinguish the flavors from each other. A terrible experience. We'll never go back. NOT RECOMMENDED, a real tourist trap.
