26/01/2025: La nourriture n’étais pas spécialement bonne, les croissants étaient sec mais le café était bon.
Cependant le monsieur ne parlais pas du tout anglais et en a profiter pour nous rajouter 4€ à la note comme si de rien n’étais.
Je ne recommande pas ….
01/10/2024: I think the worst pastries I’ve had in Italy: cream was not fresh or it was a problem with ingredients. Dirty tables, average coffee. Person at the counter had flue and didn’t wear any mask. The question is why this person was at work, but I’ll leave it to management.
Don’t go, any bistro would be better.

10/11/2024: Excellent pastry shop, terrible welcome, coming from Prato n. 11 cyclists, breakfast with €25 shopping, I asked for a toilet 🚾 the owner tells me that her business is not equipped with that service, but how can that be? 👎👎👎I still don't think it's up to standard, for a business it's mandatory to have toilets.

24/03/2025: This was the worst service I have ever gotten in my entire life. I sat with 2 friends, I was not going to order anything, and my friends were choosing. The waiter came at least 3 times to pressure us to eat. The food came, it was not bad. They insisted on the fact we could not share anything. Were checking if we were sharing food every 2 minutes. Saw that I was giving this 1 star review and tried to come talk to us and make some cheap conversation. Hated it, completely not nice at all.

02/04/2025: It's the pastry shop from when I was a child and when I come back to the area I like to stop. From year to year a collapse. I was here for Father's Day to get some quality sweets. Very little choice, a neglected place, I took two zeppole, two rice puddings and four small puffs, a bill worth €23 and the quality definitely not up to par. It's a real shame for a historic neighborhood place.

26/02/2025: Pranzetto domenicale con amici e famigliari. In questo locale il personale è cortese ed a tavola si sta bene.
La qualità dei piatti che abbiamo assaggiato è discreta, i prezzi sono onesti, buono il pane distribuito sulla tavola.
Bevande e carta dei vini discrete.

According to them this is a mountain girl. Cold sauce and frozen mozzarella on top.

05/04/2025: Sono passata di lì incuriosita dal movimento, bar piccolo e vecchio. La macchina del caffè non viene spurgata tra un caffè e l’altro. Ma la cosa più brutta è il bricco del latte sporco e la lancia per montarlo è incrostata. Il mio caffè macchiato era molto molto caldo e dopo quello che ho visto non me la sono sentita di consumarlo.

Sconsigliato nella maniera più assoluta!

Visited again with great anticipation.
The waiter recommended the wild boar goulash as a second choice.
Unfortunately, this was already bad and was "saved" by the kitchen with vinegar and olives.
This borders on knowing fraud if not poisoning.
I had 24 hours of terrible pain, heaving and tremendous heartburn.
NEVER AGAIN

26/02/2025: Dinner with colleagues, some arrived late but, in any case, dishes arrived "in installments", some had finished the pizza, others still had to have it! Poor quality appetizer, my pizza was not the one ordered and the waiter even insisted that I made the wrong order! Luckily I wasn't alone otherwise I would have thought I expressed myself badly! Quite a steep bill for a shared starter and a pizza that I didn't finish and didn't like! I don't think I'll return.

19/03/2025: I ordered a first course of pici with ragù. Pre-cooked pasta heated in the microwave. The ragù was watery and clearly from a jar bought at the supermarket. The pasta was overcooked. I had a stomach ache after eating that pasta.

Locale carino,dopo aver letto alcune recensioni io e la mia famiglia abhiamo prenotato .Siamo arrivati all'ora di apertura per il pranzo, quindi locale ancora vuoto e abbiamo ordinato subito.... tempo di attesa 1 ora per i
primi: pasta al ragù, arrivata senza ragù, pici con polpo senza pici e il polpo come comparsa e le fettuccine al nero di seppia colorate industriali e immangiabile.
Assolutamente da evitare!!!!
02/11/2024: Ho mangiato la pizza peggiore della mia vita…manca proprio l idea di cosa sia una pizza, vino della casa di bassa qualità, servizio rapido ma non si porta la pizza 15 min prima del secondo di mia moglie . Posto turistico

18/01/2025: All the standard things you expect in a restaurant are absent in this restaurant. In the heart of Tuscany, typical Italian dishes, made from a can and/or the microwave, tasteless, and on top of that, the service has not been in the mood for it for a while.
Maybe it's because we are Dutch in Cortona, so tourists, they only come once. Now we live in Cortona half the year, so we could come back or recommend a restaurant to friends, but not this restaurant.
07/01/2025: think of a restaurant that will serve the best meal in Italy! TASTY dishes, very well served and if you are looking for regional flavor, come! I've been to Italy a few times times and I didn't find the flavor and atmosphere so wonderful.
