Ho chiesto un piccolo tagliere e direi che a differenza di altri luoghi dove non ti danno neanche 2 patatine quel "piccolo" " tagliere era veramente ottimo.

22/06/2025: Per mangiare e bere bene nel centro storico a San Quirico è il posto giusto. Locale molto curato, ben arredato, ideale per una cena intima così come per un pranzo fra amici. Il personale è preparato e gentile, attento ma non invadente. Ottima la qualità delle materie prime e piatti tipici, dagli antipasti crostoni (favolosi), salumi e formaggi, primi piatti (pici in primis) e carni di qualità. Carta dei vini variegata e attenzione ai vini del territorio, anche con etichette non così facili da trovare. Rapporto qualità-prezzo nella media, ma per qualità e servizio ne vale la pena. Locale consigliatissimo.
21/06/2025: We fancied a simple lunch on a quick visit to the town. This restaurant is managed by three generations of women. I had Nonna’s lasagna and my wife had cannelloni. It did the trick and was a nice break in the day.

14/08/2025: I visited this restaurant overlooking the canals with my daughter. It's perhaps in the most picturesque spot in Livorno's Venice district, near the fish market and a short walk from the Fortezza Vecchia and the ferry terminal. Even though I visit Livorno often, I was curious to dine in this little corner of Livorno. The view is spectacular, with the sunset to the west overlooking the sea and the interior looking out toward the canals. Everything was lovely, but beyond the setting, it was the courtesy of the girls and the truly excellent quality of the food that made it my new go-to place when I'm back in Livorno. Congratulations, keep up the good work, and thank you for the pleasant evening spent with my Princess.

Alas, update a month later...
I returned about a month later (August 2025) with my partner, remembering the wonderful experience the previous time, which I described above.
I had rated everything 5 stars, but this second time, the experience was, for half the dishes, simply "terrifying," leading me to lower the rating to 2 stars.
Let me explain...
We ordered a mussel sauté, which arrived as delicious as the previous time, also stuffed with a giant prawn.
To drink, we ordered a half liter of the house white wine, which was served in a bottle holder with melted ice. Therefore, after our first glass, we realized that the wine was almost room temperature... (about 30 degrees that evening).
We asked to refill the bottle holder with ice, but even then, it returned more cold water than ice.
Let's move on...
We ordered two first courses: linguine with clams and bottarga and a plate of spaghetti with clams.
The dishes looked interesting, but we later realized they were very salty, but overly so, and that one of the dishes had no trace of bottarga, and that the lemon pesto was apparently just lemon juice mixed with breadcrumbs (I think).
But it was the clams that really made us jump.
Of the approximately 50 clams each that formed the base of the dish (like lupini beans—we certainly weren't expecting true clams...), on my plate I counted 8 open clams and over 40 closed, dead ones, meaning they hadn't opened during cooking.
I wonder how whoever cooked that evening, while sautéing the pasta with the sauce, couldn't have noticed this, or rather, sent two servings of dead clams to the table, because,
in fact, we were served two first courses seasoned with closed clam shells!
When asked if everything was fine, I replied "well," leaving it up to the person returning the dishes to evaluate the eight open clams, neatly arranged in a radial pattern on the shell dish, compared to how many closed ones we'd left on our plates.
But then again, the dishes were incredibly salty, unlike anything I've ever eaten before.
I'm not the type to send dishes back to the kitchen, and I've eaten in "the worst bars in Caracas," but that evening, perhaps we should have done so because, always with politeness and respect for the work of others, a little criticism helps everyone improve.
A real shame, I hope due to a lapse in the kitchen that evening, because the place is worth it, the prices are attractive, and the staff is very courteous and friendly.
I hope to return soon to update the review.
13/08/2025: The cacciucco wasn't made with the fish called for in the Livorno recipe, the paccheri with blue crab seemed to be seasoned with the same sauce as the cacciucco, the fried anchovies weren't crispy, and neither were the French fries. A complete disappointment.

06/08/2025: Discovered by chance.
The regular pizzas are actually gigantic, at least 40 cm in diameter. Thin but generously topped with good ingredients. You leave feeling full!
The service could be improved with a little more "observation" in the dining room.
The atmosphere is quiet, not ultra-modern but adequate, well-kept, and clean (even the bathrooms, which isn't a given).

20/07/2025: When we arrived, everything seemed fine, but shortly thereafter, we found gecko droppings scattered around the room—a clear sign that it hadn't been cleaned properly. We reported the problem and were given a backup room while they cleaned it. So far, so good: it happens. The real problems began with the pool management. The posted rules clearly state that diving from the edge is prohibited, but no one respects them. On the very first day, a little girl dived into me. I checked the sign again: it was there. I politely approached the front desk to report it. Only for a day did we see a modicum of supervision, then everything went back to normal. People diving, children throwing balls from one side of the pool to the other: a complete lack of respect for the rules, with no intervention from the staff. When I returned to the front desk again, this time more annoyed (understandably), the woman's response was disconcerting: "Madam, but they're only bothering you," in an arrogant and disrespectful tone.
I pointed out that I didn't write the rules: they posted them. It's ironic that they aren't enforced, much less accepted by those who pay for a peaceful stay. I'm aware of the RULES.
It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the attitude of some staff members and the total lack of attention to order and safety make this place disappointing. I wouldn't return.
On the other hand, the staff at the bar, restaurant (delicious pizza, kudos to the chefs), shops (friendly and truly kind), and, of course, the entertainment staff are truly fantastic.

10/07/2025: It's the classic (and slightly retro) meeting place in Vada for sugar lovers, for breakfast and for anyone willing to risk the risks associated with diabetes. It might be a matter of taste, but I find Golosa's desserts far too sweet, bordering on cloying. I also find the staff a bit cloying, and if they smiled a little more, they'd perhaps be more empathetic. Again, it's a matter of taste, but I'm more comfortable elsewhere.

01/01/2025: Ero stata a cena in questo ristorante un paio di volte mangiando sempre bene soprattutto i piatti di pesce quindi quando ho visto il menù per l'ultimo dell'anno non ho esitato a prenotare. Purtroppo la cena si è rivelata pessima, piatti insapore, pasta scotta, pici che dovevano essere in crema di finocchi e cozze serviti senza alcun condimento e papposi, dolce ridicolo un bicchiere di crema, che sinceramente era fatta anche bene, servita con un mini triangolo di pandoro, in pratica un bicchiere di crema da mangiare senza niente, ovviamente impossibile e stucchevole. Ok, il prezzo della cena era contenuto ma questo non è un buon motivo per cucinare male. Inoltre il locale era freddo e c'era corrente d'aria, capirete che la sera di S. Silvestro le signore con gli abiti da sera hanno sofferto il freddo tutta la sera.
Che peccato!
13/11/2024: Il locale dispone di una terrazza panoramica. L’interno è un po’ anonimo e scarno. Menu vario e interessante, servizio accurato e cordiale. Ottimi i pigi al ragù bianco e il tortino di zucca. Pessima la tagliata al pepe verde, fredda e dura, immangiabile. È stata però tolta dal conto. Insufficiente il tiramisù.

06/08/2025: Siamo stati per una cena a base di pesce con amici; i tavoli sono posizionati all'aperto, nella stradina di fronte al locale, quindi niente di particolare. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti misti di mare, un primo con i paccheri al S.Pietro, una grigliata, baccalà alla siciliana e una frittura. Le portate non possiamo dire fossero cattive, ma neanche così buone da tornarci. In particolare il baccalà ha deluso soprattutto per il sapore, che nn lo ricordava e perché anche eccessivamente salato, e lo abbiamo ordinato in 4, e tutti con la stessa opinione! Servizio appena sufficiente, prezzo con due bottiglie di vino intorno ai 50 euro a testa, quindi rapportato all'esperienza. Non possiamo dire che sia stata una bella esperienza, sia a livello di cibo che per tutto il resto, tanto che nn credo proprio che ci torneremo.
06/08/2025: Dette er en veldig god restaurant - blant flere i Talamone! Sjømaten og pizzaen er utsøkt! Jeg anbefaler å bestille så mange av sjømat-rettene som over hodet mulig mens du er på besøk i Talamone. Selv har vi planlagt flere turer på denne restauranten nå i september 2025. Synes personalet er vennlig og at maten kommer relativt raskt, i hvert fall i forhold til kvaliteten. Du merket at råvarene var ferske og godt balanserte smaker. Bestill lokal vin!

13/07/2025: We'd been there years ago, a cozy open-air lounge bar, so we cycled back again. We checked Google and thought it was open, but unfortunately, it was closed. Such a shame. It was a nice bike ride, though, with a lovely bike path.

20/07/2025: We came upon this cafe when coming down from the walls at Santa Maria gate. We sat inside as it was air conditioned. My husband had a slice of pizza, which had plenty of topping on it and I had a sfoglia crema which was delicious. We both had a bottle of water and felt it was really good value at less than €7, especially as we had paid €7 for 2 coffees by the cathedral earlier!
24/06/2025: È stato veramente vergognoso, io faccio questo lavoro, di barista, da molti anni....ma mai mi sarei sognata di dover pagare un succo di pompelmo versato da un cartone del supermercato,per giunta a fine,euro 3,50 .
