23/12/2025: This is the second or third time I've had this happen. The place is bright and comfortable, and the staff is friendly, but the pastries need updating. For example, sometimes by 8 o'clock some are out of stock or certain types are missing, others are undercooked, and still others haven't risen enough, leaving the salty sourdough taste noticeable. I hope this comment helps improve the pastry shop, which has always been excellent.

23/12/2025: I went for a drink that evening with my friends. There were 20 of us when we arrived, and 13 of us ordered drinks. The others were forced to have something (other than water) because the place (after accepting the reservation, given the large number of people) was open only for us. €6 for a Coke and €2.50 for a half-liter of water, with no platters or anything. Very disappointed; it was a place I really liked. I understand that staying open on a Monday in winter is difficult to recoup, but it can't be passed on to the customers, since the reservation had been confirmed.

23/12/2025: LEGALIZED THEFT. Paying €6 for a Coke in December seems excessive to me. A table of several people forced to order because they were the only ones in the cafeteria. Impossible to order just a bottle of water because it's too cheap for the shopkeeper. BUT €2.50 for 0.5L of water is theft.

22/10/2025: I've read all the reviews and am amazed at what's been written about this place. Knowing fish means knowing how to appreciate freshness and flavor. As a Versilian raw fish enthusiast, I put this place first for the quality and deliciousness of the fresh fish, which demonstrates that the freshness of raw fish is the foundation of the restaurant. Knowing flavor also means drinking well, and this place stocks some big-name labels. So, I'll take the liberty of naming those reviews that have written poorly about this place because they should know the quality and freshness of the product.

28/09/2025: Terrible experience, the quality of the raw materials was truly low, as was the hygiene and quality of the service. The meal was excessively expensive. Absolutely not to be repeated. If you say you have excellent quality raw materials, then buy them, because the seafood pasta sauce was worse than what you can buy frozen at a discount store. To respond to your comment, I believe you are referring to another table; there were not three of us, and I personally just tasted the tagliolini allo scoglio, which were decidedly awful, overcooked and flavorless. In fact, I left them on my plate, along with the strange mush and the shells of non-existent crustaceans... Rating for hygiene, courtesy, and food quality: 0

22/02/2026: Today at lunch I waited an hour and twenty minutes for a plate of pasta which, by the way, didn't even arrive. The service was poor, managed by two incompetent and rude people and they charged me 80 euros for an appetizer and a bottle of wine... poor things.

11/11/2025: The waiter was extremely unfriendly. We wanted to have a nice evening, so we only ate a small meal and left. The waiter only spoke Italian and made no effort to make us feel comfortable.

16/02/2026: Excellent food, both the crostini and the cacio e pepe. Friendly and attentive service, reasonable prices. We'll be back!

12/02/2026: I had a great time, the place was renovated, much better than a few months ago, the tagliata and carbonara were excellent, I've never heard of them like this before

12/03/2026: Excellent café in the main square of Panzano in Chianti, offering homemade pastries and tarts. They also make excellent sandwiches and piadinas with a variety of cured meats and cheeses. The girl serving you is professional and cheerful, and they also offer products not in the display case. The coffee is good, and there are tables with comfortable chairs and restrooms. Excellent.

23/12/2025: About 15 days ago, I bought a Saker cake and a panettone as a gift. The cake was delicious, but the panettone was inedible, practically dry. I mentioned it to the staff, and they told me I had to return it even three days after purchasing it. I was disappointed because I'd been a regular customer of the bakery in the past, and at least offering me a pastry would have been enough to apologize for the embarrassment I'd made with the person I'd given it to. Anyway, I think gentlemen are born. No more panettone at Futura.

The food ranges from sweet to savory: all kinds of brioche, pastries, cakes, savory brioche, focaccia, mini pizzas, Valdostane, and more. The cafeteria also offers a wide selection. I recommend trying their cakes at least once: the best, in my opinion, are the cheesecake and the chocolate and raspberry cake. The change in staff was a great choice: those who currently work here are always friendly and attentive! Well done! I'm only giving the place 4 stars, not because it's a bad pastry shop—in fact, it's very nice—but because I'd like to see more tables inside; depending on the time of day, it can be difficult to find a spot. Another plus is the parking: convenient on the Via Aurelia side for those staying a short time, and more practical at the back for those staying longer. Highly recommended!

21/10/2025: Terrible experience. The Oliver Hotel has been closed for months, but the owners "forgot (???)" to communicate this small detail. So I booked on Expedia, paid immediately (as requested), arrived, and found the hotel closed and up for sale. Luckily, two people who live next door helped me find another place to stay for the night through acquaintances. PS: I immediately reported the mishap to Expedia support via chat, and received a refund two days later.

17/07/2025: The food was good, but the cocktails weren't great; the ingredients were obviously of poor quality (cheap alcohol and whipped cream). Despite this, the prices were slightly too high. Service was poor; the waitress didn't know what I'd ordered even though it was on the menu.

20/11/2025: Restaurant and bar with home-style cooking and a daily changing menu featuring excellent products. I go there quite often for lunch and always have a great experience. Fast service and very friendly staff. Recommended.
