17/11/2025: Small but cozy and very clean. Wide selection of sweet and savory items. Excellent breakfast! A special mention for the cream puff pastry: one of the best I've ever had!

22/03/2026: The food was good, but they were completely incapable of managing reservations. My parents usually eat there, so we decided to book a table days in advance, explicitly stating that it had to be inside for eight people, where we would only be having fried fish. When we arrived, all the inside seats were taken, and our table had been set outside. Despite this, we didn't get upset and decided to wait for a place inside to become available. We just pointed out that we had booked a table for eight people at 1:00 PM, only having fried seafood; to which (without even apologizing) they said yes. After about 40 minutes, they seated us, and when it came time to order, they informed us that the fried fish was out. We've been there in the past and always encountered some problems, which we then resolved by looking the other way, but today I think they've outdone themselves.

02/11/2025: A lovely trattoria to eat at. The food was really good: delicious pappardelle, fantastic wild boar ragout, delicious crostini, mind-blowing pappa al pomodoro, very good appetizers. The beans tasted like they came from a can (a shame) but were delicious. The chicory was flavorful, and the Vin Santo was extremely alcoholic. I don't know, it just didn't convince me. I wasn't crazy about the cantucci either, but that's a matter of personal preference. The coffee, bread, water, and excellent olive oil were delicious. I found the bread refill during service really pleasant.

25/07/2025: I've been coming to Capalbio for 37 years, and Stefano's management is the best. The staff is also sensitive to the concerns of elderly people with hearing disabilities like me and other friends of mine who enjoy visiting. Everything is delicious, and the service is highly professional and kind. Congratulations!

24/02/2026: It's become a trusted café. Excellent for both sweet and savory treats. As a breakfast lover, I recommend it, and it's almost become a regular stop on weekends. I recommend it, even though it can get quite crowded at certain times! That means it's good, haha! The price is fair, even for big eaters like us.

20/02/2026: Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing: the cream puffs were excessively heavy and dry, with a choux pastry that lacked airiness and lightness. The filling was equally disappointing: the cream had an extremely floury and compact consistency.

The traditional dishes are well-prepared, but overall, they don't stand out compared to other restaurants in Ilcine, even those less highly regarded and more basic. The wine list is impeccable, with many local labels. Compared to other restaurants, the prices are slightly above average.

15/03/2026: The food was outstanding. The service was very strange. They practically kicked us out. They wouldn't even let us finish chewing our food before asking if we wanted dessert. The same thing happened with the appetizers. They were very rushed and cold when serving us. You feel more like a nuisance than a customer.

23/02/2026: Italian bars are getting worse in terms of hygiene and here is the confirmation, net of the abundant amount of crumbs under the counter, a senior waitress takes a red dishcloth from the counter where the preparations take place and goes towards the tables which she cleans along with the chair seats then goes to the waste bin on the cashier side and cleans the edge then returns to the counter and always with the same dishcloth gives a new wipe to the work surface! What level of hygiene will be observed in the laboratory? Monday 23/2 at 9 am

26/02/2026: A beautiful day, a beautiful place, a delicious fried seafood dish with chips, no wine because I have to drive! A delicious tiramisu and no coffee! If it weren't for the bill, which in my opinion was a bit expensive! Perhaps the slightly higher price is due to the panoramic view! We paid 10-15 euros less for the same thing in another place for two people! If I had to say I'd go back next Sunday, no! Maybe once a year to see if anything changes!

03/01/2026: I knew the pastry shop was excellent... but this morning I had further confirmation from the staff too... the blonde, doe-eyed saleswoman was kind enough to my daughter for a sandwich, making herself available to remove the tomato, simply because she doesn't like it... in this world where they make you pay even for sharing a toast, this gesture deserves 5-star luxury... thanks, see you soon...

01/01/2026: Opened January 1st. Breakfast was fantastic. The Chantilly cream cannoli were amazing!
