22/02/2025: Siamo venuti a cenare per l’nniversario e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. L’unica pecca era la non disponibilità degli spaghetti ai ricci di mare. Abbiamo preso il mix di 6 antipasti di pesce cotti e un primo a testa. Cous cous sublime e tortelli di gambero rosso con pistacchio molto buoni. In due, con acqua, calice di vino e un dolce, abbiamo pagato 110€. Prezzo molto onesto devo dire. Consiglio vivamente questo locale.

24/01/2025: Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene con una buona atmosfera. L’unica pecca erano le portate abbastanza povere di quantità. Specialmente il cous cous e il tonno.

03/12/2024: Sempre ottima musica, anche dal vivo. Accoglienza ineguagliabile, vasta scelta di ottime birre, buon cibo e Cocktail molto buoni, sono gli ingredienti perfetti per una serata al top. Come sempre, consigliatissimo.

11/04/2025: Having specifically said that they arrived cold from the side door... both employees and security continued to enter and exit smoking in the same vicinity of the door. Having also politely told them to keep it closed as it is not a main entrance. I spent 50 euros, there were three of us, I don't think I'll eat inside again! Ps a girl in the sandwich sitting next found yn hair in the sandwich. Behind in the kitchen I heard a boy several times shouting meaningless things. Please correct these things which are very essential.

21/03/2025: cocktail bar a little out of context in Taormina but still a nice, welcoming and discreet environment. very well-kept furnishings with many elements that give character but perhaps could be modernized a little. nice the possibility of playing cards, checkers or chess directly at your table. good choice of wines and quite good drinks. the food is a sore point because little more than a few appetizers even if passed off as complete dishes. prices in line with Taormina.

13/03/2025: Scam alert!!!! All establishments in Italy (EU) are obliged to accept card payments. This place was "cash only" which is Greek for "tax evasion." Had to find an ATM to pay £ 20 for average cocktails. Avoid like the plague. *Update: After we spent 15 minutes looking for a working ATM (none to be found anywhere), I told the waiter they're obliged to accept cards, that I know they are trying to tax evade, and that I'm Greek, not a British tourist they can scam. He then said they'd suggested cash is better but they accept cards which was a lie, as he'd clearly told us "cash only". After 10 minutes of "connection problems" they finally managed to accept our card payment. Once again. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. If you don't believe me, look at all the other terrible reviews. **Second Update: The scam artist owner dared respond as below, lying once again. They did demand cash only, and there is only one reason for that, tax evasion. We know it, they know it, everyone (in the south) knows it. The rest is drivel. Avoid like the plague. ***Third Update: The hilarity of this owner continues. He accuses me of racism because I pointed out they are scamming British tourists who don't know how scamming and tax evasion works in the south. I do because dodgy bar owners have the same scammer mentality in Greece. And I know, as this owner knows, what they were doing when they demanded cash and pretended their card machine wasn't working. They were trying to tax-evade. End of story. They can post another fifty five star-reviews. Facts remain facts. They only embarrass themselves further by continuing to respond. I rest my case.

22/10/2024: Squisiti i mezzi panini alla meusa di Giuseppe Basile, non siamo d'accordo che siano troppo costosi, con 21 euro abbiamo mangiato in 6. 6 mezzi panini molto abbondanti e saporiti con meusa e caciocavallo. In una Vucciria chiassosa, allegra, dai sapori tipicamente palermitani, Giuseppe ci ha fatto accomodare. con calda accoglienza. Da consigliare.

09/03/2025: Quando da Palermo vengo nelle zone, questo ristorante è una tappa fissa. Location bellissima e pesce ottimo, prezzo adeguato alla qualità offerta. Lo consiglio vivamente.

07/03/2025: Se cercate un ristorante dove il mare e la buona cucina si fondono in un'esperienza indimenticabile, La Bettola dei Marinai è il posto giusto. Il cibo è semplicemente strepitoso. Il personale è impeccabile. E poi ci sono i proprietari, semplicemente squisiti. Se dovessi consigliare un ristorante di pesce, La Bettola dei Marinai sarebbe senza dubbio il numero 1.

16/03/2025: On Sunday afternoon in February, we decide to have an aperitif and stop at the expensive Ventaglio bar, prepared for the high price but hoping that it was at least worth it. Unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. Nothing fresh, everything heated in the microwave! But it doesn't end there: it was cold inside, so I kindly ask the girl who served us to turn on the air conditioner. The response was that 'it can only do cold air', without even an attempt to offer a solution. An outrageous price-quality ratio! Rather than continue to make money in this way, it is better to go elsewhere, where you get much more with less.

16/03/2025: In this place, although small, I found the best ice cream I have ever eaten, the service as far as I saw was fast and efficient, however as far as the environment is concerned there are no faults other than the fact that the fact that this place also produces ice cream should be more highlighted given that it is only with some difficulty that you can understand from the sign alone.
