04/10/2023: Drinks were good! But if you can't get a little something for an Aperol Spritz for €7 in Italy, that's a disgrace. There is also a bar 100 m further on where we were treated to delicacies (sausage, cheese, etc.).

01/04/2024: Barista not really nice. The pastries aren't the best, cappuccino seems watered down. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. Update: The barista is always present and hasn't changed her way of doing things, she continues to be not very nice

18/03/2024: Listen to the waiter who serves the outside tables.... After having served at least two tables that arrived after me, and after arranging chairs and collecting glasses from other tables, he asks for the order with detachment and carelessness, leaving my table dirty from previous customers. He brings me a burnt toast outside with cheese and cold ham.... Guys, this is how you demonstrate that you don't have or are losing your job, as well as losing your customers.

05/04/2024: Very bad experience. We go to this place to have an aperitif. Since there is no room inside we sit outside. For 10 minutes no one came to ask for their order. We enter the bar to solicit the waiter. After 5 minutes he arrives, but we ask (rightly) to have a menu, ergo he brings us the menu and we wait another 10 minutes for the order. In a nutshell we place the order around 9pm, in addition to the drinks we ask for a platter for 4 and a pinsa. After a few minutes the drinks arrive, we have no news of the pinsa and the cutting board. Yes it is 9.45pm, we kindly ask the waitress how long we will have had to wait for the cutting board and the pinsa, pointing out that 45 minutes had already passed, she tells us that it would arrive in fifteen minutes. We waited 20 minutes and we were served nothing. We decide to leave and pay for the drinks. We therefore point out that it is good practice for the waiter to inform the customer about the timing of the service and that they should have at least apologized with a couple of chips and two olives. Nice place but I strongly advise against it.

13/10/2023: Good restaurant to eat. They have gluten-free options and good service. They have a swimming pool, sun loungers and access to the sea. Good views and good atmosphere. We recommend salted fish. We will repeat.

23/10/2023: Attese interminabili… due ore abbondanti per un primo e un secondo! Bella la location, proprio sulla spiaggia. Cibo discreto, prezzi un po’ alti per la qualità offerta ma… una grigliata di pesce da 25€ non la potete servire in un piatto sbeccato in più punti!! (Vedi foto). I dettagli sono importanti se un pranzo medio costa sui 100€ a persona…

31/10/2023: The place was recommended to us by our hotel, we ate two "excellent" seafood carbonara, two half glasses of Vermentino, two cafes "3 euros each", we paid 70 euros including cover charge "an excessive price", I would say an exaggerated figure also considering the end of the low season...., we have been to other restaurants in Carloforte and I must say that by spending less we ate more equally excellent dishes....

16/10/2023: Not recommendable. Food absolutely overpriced in terms of price-performance ratio - coupled with a certain arrogance on the part of the staff. The portions are for a reasonable price of around 25 euros per meal so you won't get full. One of four meals was inedible and was added to the bill despite our criticism. Only when we intervened again was the inedible food removed from the bill. We wouldn't recommend the place at all, it's more appearance than reality and a Schikimiki doesn't necessarily make a good meal.

25/10/2023: Die äußerst guten Bewertungen können wir nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Die Pizza sowie der Großteil der Fischplatte waren sehr gut. Das Ambiente und der Service haben uns angesprochen. Daher vergeben wir 4 Sterne. Hinsicht Preise und den anderen Speisen ist das Restaurant vergleichsweise aber nur guter Durchschnitt. Die Fischvorspeise war relativ langweilig, die Ravioli mit Lammragout gewöhnungsbedürftig und das vor Fett treifende Kinderschnitzel ohne Wiederholungsgefahr. Die Insel hat kulinarisch deutlich mehr zu bieten.

10/10/2023: Abbiamo festeggiato qui il primo ottobre il nostro matrimonio, non potevamo chiedere location migliore di questa…. Quando l abbiamo scelta mesi e mesi fa ho sognato questo posto sempre e mi immaginavo il giorno! Mauro è fantastico, ti segue e ti ascolta in tutto sempre pronto a consigliarti e a strapparti un sorriso… Sinceramente me la porterò sempre nel cuore questa location e quel giorno! Tra l’altro lo staff è super disponibile, gentile… le camere sono molto belle fronte mare e la colazione a buffet offre tantissima scelta tra salato e dolce!!! Grazie Mauro per la bellissima e indimenticabile giornata!!! Tra l’altro prima del matrimonio siamo venuti ad assaggiare i piatti a cena anche con diversi amici, si mangia troppo bene che è un peccato non andarci! 5 stelle ++++++!!! Consigliato per tutto, feste famiglie amici… sapranno sempre come accontentarti! Un abbraccio grandissimo a tutto lo staff e Mauro ❤️

12/11/2023: Typisch italienische Stimmung. Voller Gäste und nicht gerade leise, geschweige dezent. Das muss man mögen. Wir waren mehrmals hier und haben unter anderem ein leckeres Steak und eine große frisch zubereitete Dorade gegessen. Auch die Pizza war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung ist etwas rustikal aber freundlich. Pizza ist günstig, sonst eher leicht überteuert. Wir würden wiederkommen.

29/10/2023: Un posto stupendo dove la cortesia e la gentilezza la fa da padrona. Ottima cucina di mare con i veri sapori della mia terra alla faccia di altre esperienze che ho avuto in un altro luogo della Sardegna centrale che è stata veramente pessima. Al santa Maria ho mangiato di tutto, antipasti di mare fenomenali, primi a base di pesce ottimi e pesce fresco cucinato in maniera splendida. Ottima selezione di vini bianchi e rossi che permettono di conoscere l'isola anche dal punto di vista enologico, ovviamente c'è una buona rassegna a che di vini nazionali. Che dire una tappa fissa dove il turista è trattato come è trattata la gente locale, in maniera splendida

19/11/2023: Our B+B had coupons for breakfast here instead of them providing the meal themselves. What a nice place this is. Dangerous though. The coffee is good, according to my wife. the pastries are excellent adn teh temptation to add more than the regular breakfast is stropng. Plus you have to walk past some really fancy cakes to order. The staff was helpful and friendly. You can eat inside or relax outside at their tables. Very nice.

20/10/2023: È sempre stata, per me, una buona pasticceria, niente da togliere alle altre in città. Si trova vicino al centro ed è molto frequentata, è meglio andarci a piedi perché è difficile trovare parcheggio, ci sono in zona alcuni parcheggi disponibili. I prodotti sono di qualità e il personale è veloce e disponibile. Se abitassi ad Alghero lo frequenterei spesso, anche se non trascurerei le altre della città. Consigliatissima per i numerosi turisti che, maggiormente in estate, frequentano la città.
