03/10/2025: A superb little gem of a restaurant, right by the square- You can order inside and then sit at one of the little tables outside. The food was so good that we went back the next day to try some other goodies. Excellent beef stew, shrimp salad, Lasagna and eggplant Parmesan. Everything is prepared by the Charming couple. It’s Like going to nonna’s for lunch!

28/09/2025: Be careful! The prices for antispasti are per 100g, not per portion. This can be misleading if you don't speak Italian. We were very surprised when we got the bill, but it was too late to refuse. It adds up very quickly for such small portions. Over €18 for a little octopus salad and two croquettes. All served on paper plates, and you have to clear up the mess yourself. The food truck atmosphere is restaurant-like. You can find much better options in the area. Also, take a close look at the owners' responses on Google reviews; they are extremely aggressive.

19/09/2025: Excellent selection of craft beers, right on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Try the Vermont IPA made with American hops (exotic!). Friendly and helpful staff.

10/11/2025: Spaghetti with clams were neutral, the flavour of the white wine was missing, the clams were not very tasty, the parsley and the taste of the sea were missing

16/10/2025: It offers a beautiful view of the sea. We both ordered the mixed fish platter and were very satisfied with the food. The menu indicates which fish is locally available fresh and which is prepared frozen seasonally, providing good transparency. The two servers were very friendly, relaxed, and prompt. For good food in Castelsardo, we can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

08/10/2025: Everything was delicious, from the daily menu that changes daily to the pizza in the evening. Highly recommended!! Elena and her son were kind and helpful.

03/10/2025: Visiting and staying locally- hands down the best pizza we have ever eaten. Very swift service on both occasions and very polite family run business. Only thing I would say- I wish the menu had an English version!!

15/10/2025: Our first meal since arriving on Sardinia but exceeded expectations. Beef, pasta and dessert were all amazing. Affrogato over white truffle ice cream was incredible.

She then reacted very provocatively and continued to ignore us in a "punitive" manner. We then left...

21/10/2025: 100% the best food we ate n the 4 days we spent in Sardinia! Wow, the pasta was DELICIOUS. We had spaghetti made with olive oil, garlic & mushrooms, and it was so good, I can still taste it while I'm typing this. The service was also fantastic, and the prices were very affordable! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area.

08/10/2025: We went there twice for dinner. Excellent fish dishes! Be sure to make a reservation to eat on the terrace (great view of the harbor).

20/09/2025: This is my third time trying this place, and I personally find the only flaw: being on a street in the historic center (closed to traffic, of course), the tables and chairs are a bit sloping. Fortunately, this is compensated for by a young but expert staff, who delight the palate with ever-changing inventions and clever reinterpretations of splendid Italian and Sardinian cuisine. The platters are innovative and always changing, and the sandwiches are top-notch. I recommend it.

11/10/2025: We stopped in Oristano before arriving at the port of Porto Torres. We stopped at this trattoria and were extremely satisfied. The option to choose an appetizer from the trolley was fantastic, for €13 per person. Then we had malloreddus and ravioli, both excellent. An excellent value.

18/11/2025: Il Caminetto is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Cabras. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with attentive and always smiling service that makes you feel truly welcome. The dishes are a tribute to Sardinian tradition, prepared with the freshest ingredients and expertly presented. The fish is extraordinary: authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and generous portions. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in presenting each dish and the chef's ability to enhance the flavors without ever weighing you down. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. I highly recommend Il Caminetto to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience in Cabras. I will definitely be back!

10/11/2025: We chose it because it has eels on the menu and were satisfied. There were eight of us and we were greeted kindly and cheerfully. Everything was delicious, well-cooked, and plentiful. We ordered something extra, and in fact, we had two mixed fried fish and calamari left over, which we asked to take away. Smiling and joking, the waiter echoed our joke: "Nothing goes to waste," and added that they used to have people to whom they gave the leftovers of customers who knocked in the morning asking for them, but now the customers ask for them too... This bitter joke doesn't detract from the quality of the restaurant: excellent table linens, cleanliness, and everything was excellent. Above all, another waiter, not the same one, thanked us for our cheerfulness. Thanks to you too for everything
