15/03/2025: I had already gone with some friends to dinner at their other restaurant in Via Isonzo and I must say that we had a great time....this time with other friends we came for lunch at this restaurant that has been present in Monteverde for many years. It was truly a wonderful experience. We started with a beautiful and above all delicious tasting of fish starters, both raw and cooked. Followed by a truly spectacular fisherman's fregola dish. All accompanied by an excellent Vermentino. Coffee and myrtle and sweets to end on a sweet note. All truly spectacular. We will definitely be back to taste other specialties.

14/03/2025: Sardinia in Rome, the freshest fish in all cooked and raw specialities, excellent cellar. The restaurant is welcoming and has a large outdoor area. Well done I will definitely be back.

07/02/2025: Anno fondazione 1875. Sembra una stranezza in mezzo alla Barbagia esista un locale storico di questo livello. Eppure qui arrivò la Belle Epoque, grazie anche alla verve culturale che generò poeti come Grazia Deledda. Stucchi specchi, decorazioni veramente molto affascinanti. Ci siamo fermati per uno spuntino, nulla di particolare, ma l’ambiente ne è valso la pena.

05/01/2025: Siamo stati nell'Azienda Agrituristica Sa Mandra per pranzo. Menù completo e vario, con pietanze genuine e prelibate, costituito da varietà di antipasti rigorosamente locali, due primi, due secondi (uno dei quali l'immancabile porcetto cotto al camino... Eccezionale!), dolcetti della tradizione, acqua, vino di rinomate cantine Sarde, digestivo e caffè. Anche i piatti senza glutine, abbondanti come (e più) delle portate "normali", erano ottimi e cucinati con maestria. Ho apprezzato in particolare la fregola con salsiccia e sugo di cinghiale, mai mangiata in precedenza, rivelatasi una graditissima sorpresa. Personale squisito: cordialissimo, cortese e affabile, oltre che professionale e disponibile. La struttura comprende (e ne è parte integrante) anche un bellissimo museo della tradizione agro-pastorale Sarda che merita di essere visitato. Che altro aggiungere... Grazie per la fantastica esperienza e per l'ospitalità. Torneremo sicuramente!

31/12/2024: Abbiamo trovato per caso questo posto su tripadvisor avendo in programma di trascorrere il capodanno ad Alghero. Accoglienza impeccabile calorosa ed elegante. Location pazzesca curata in ogni angolo. Servizio da 10 e lode! Inutile dilungarsi sulle varie portate davvero buonissime, ma una menzione d’onore va ai salumi degustati. Colore accesso, profumo inebriante e sapore avvolgente. Peraltro la gentilissima proprietaria, vedendoci Entusiasti, ci ha proposto il bis. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

09/11/2024: Pranzo discreto. Sinceramente le nostre aspettative erano più alte. Speravamo di avere più scelta nel menu , sopratutto per quanto riguarda il crudo. Prezzi un po’ alti considerando la qualità

08/10/2024: We attempted to book in advance but, despite trying multiple methods, we were unable to get through. However, we decided to go anyway and were fortunate to find the last available table outside. We enjoyed a bottle of white wine, along with a delicious selection of antipasti and bruschetta. The owner, who also served us, was very knowledgeable and kindly explained everything to us in English. He even took the time to teach us about Bottarga, its origins, and how it’s made. Overall, a fantastic experience—great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere!

05/10/2024: Daniele is the most wonderful host and we enjoyed two fantastic evenings here. He has amazing knowledge of wines and beer; you can buy honey, olive oil, yellow fin tuna and an extensive selection of quality wines. We enjoyed delicious bruschetta and had a fabulous time. You must go here when visiting Cannigione. Grazie mille, Daniele. A presto!

23/10/2024: The "greeting" was: "there is no pizza, this is a restaurant." Ok, good evening and welcome, we didn't ask for pizza. For us there was a tagliere which was rich and good, but after that it got worse. The fregola wasn't good at all, the sauce was sour, we didn't eat it. The Tagliata di Manzo was nothing special, at best bland and the meat was inferior. There was a lump of undissolved powder in my crema catalana, embarrassing. But the coffee was good again. It was the first evening in Sardinia, I hope it gets better.

22/02/2025: We often have a glass of wine here before dinner elsewhere. I love the interior of this place and Italian table service is what it is. One of my favourites on this block of bars.

18/03/2025: We had an incredible experience at this traditional Sardinian restaurant. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the extensive menu featured a fantastic selection of authentic Sardinian dishes. We ordered the suckling pig and lobster pasta—both portions were absolutely massive! The value for money was excellent, and the lobster was simply outstanding. Highly recommend!

11/03/2025: Typical restaurant established for more than 30 years in the city when my customers ask me where to eat Sardinian in the city I always send them to the Barbagia restaurant, where Pino and Gianfranca welcome you like someone at home

14/03/2025: Hotel in an excellent location, very large and comfortable rooms. Very well soundproofed. The only flaw is the breakfast which certainly needs to be improved and being able to have an espresso from the bar and not from the vending machine.

09/01/2025: Historic place in Cabras. Slightly 70s furnishings but it doesn't matter. Friendly staff. We had fish for dinner. Spaghetti with bottarga as delicious as the rest of the dinner. Average prices.
