04/03/2025: I agree with the person who gave an honest review on customer service and the price (€1.50 per coffee is too much, as if it were at the Milan cathedral) about a month ago. This morning I refused to eat the croissant and the pasta because the latter tasted like boiled egg, only the smell convinced me not to eat it, it was brought back intact. The coffee was poor, brownish water with milk. With my partner we paid six euros for two coffees and a sandwich (nothing much for three euros). I'm giving two stars only because they had the decency to not charge us for the croissant and pasta that we brought back.

06/04/2025: It's a place stuck in the 60s, with soft lights that don't allow you to read the menu (still on paper with proposals from the last century) and see what's in the dish you're served. Starting from the truly mediocre service and continuing with the cuisine, very heavy, rich in oil and butter in abundance, prices beyond logic comparable to starred restaurants for very simple dishes, very poorly plated.

30/03/2025: We went to this cafe on a Sunday before and after a hike to Monte Soglio. Everything absolutely wonderful, from the pastries to the aperitif! Products of rare quality and kindness, very good and thank you for making us feel pampered.

30/03/2025: Absolutely the best bar in Oulx! Now a certainty for me and my family, every time there is an opportunity we stop by. Willy and Angela are two fantastic people who are always attentive to the customer (especially in my case as I am lactose intolerant) and they have a lot of really high quality homemade products. I recommend you stop by! 🤍 Ps I suggest you try the pear and chocolate cake and the wholemeal brioche

14/03/2025: Recently renovated with a more modern, fresh and welcoming look, Malaika Café offers a wide selection of cakes, croissants and desserts. The selection of savory dishes is also good. The owners are very kind and service minded. An excellent point of reference for a coffee break or a quick lunch in Oulx.

13/05/2025: A nice pub where you can dance, but perhaps it is more suitable for those who come from the various surrounding villages, not for those who come from the city. You can find people with children in tow, up to pensioners. You have to like an environment like this otherwise you get bored. Good beer at only 6 euros. Recommended

06/05/2025: Don't go to this “bar”. We booked for 13 people. Once we arrived, the drinks order was taken. Then we come to order our dishes and surprise at the end the third person tells us that we cannot eat the pasta. The kitchen is not equipped, and can only make 4 pasta dishes. It is totally disgraceful to not warn customers before booking. Unfortunately there were too many of us and it was late to go and find another restaurant. So we had to eat some dishes, and new disappointment of dry bruschetta bread, tasteless tomato sauce. Restaurant to avoid!!

22/03/2025: Family-run diner, therefore a quiet and warm environment, we felt truly welcomed. Very good dishes even if not easily digestible (I'm referring to the sausage with potatoes in sauce). Very good quantity-quality/price ratio.
