15/06/2025: Zum 1. Mal in der neuen Osteria delle Aie in Castagnito. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, freundlicher und flinker Service. Alle aufgetragenen Speisen schmeckten sehr herrlich, aber die hausgemachte Glace aus Aprikosen ist speziell erwähnenswert, so superfein.
Das Haus befindet sich nach wie vor auf einem sehr hohen Niveau zu moderatem Preis.
Gratulation an die freundliche Gastgeberin. Weiterhin viel Erfolg wünschen Urs mit Margrit und Christian

20/10/2025: A little gem, run by a Japanese guy with a passion for Italian wine and food. I drank a glass of Barbaresco recommended by the wait staff: very good and served with some appetizers. There's also a lovely outdoor terrace.
29/08/2025: Great place for an aperitivo, sampling the excellent wine selection, or grabbing a tasty bite. Comfortable outdoor seating and friendly staff. The background music is also good. Prices are in line with those in the area.

24/09/2025: It has always been my go-to place for excellent breakfasts, large brioches, excellent aperitifs with delicious platters and delicious snacks based on extraordinary cakes, true delicacies, reasonable prices. I have always been welcomed with kindness and friendliness in an environment that I was told has been renovated with a refined and unique taste. I have always found in Francesca and her children Laura and Alberto dear friends who I remember with affection. Our 4-legged friends are welcome. Macugnaga is a unique, enchanted beauty and the inhabitants always welcome you, as in this wonderful pastry shop, the pinnacle of the place. I highly recommend it.
18/08/2025: Beautiful place and very kind staff, the owner is really nice, the cakes are fantastic, today I had a piece of strudel (unfortunately there was little left) but it was one of the best I have ever eaten

The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming.
The interior is beautiful, and the outside is pleasant, where you can sip your coffee or enjoy a delicious aperitif among the window displays in the shelter of the gallery.
12/09/2025: A coffee in this pastry shop is a must for anyone passing through Alba. Combined with high quality chocolate with a refined flavour, accompanied by the courtesy of the staff.
Spacious and with plenty of seating.

I've only tried the takeout pizza. It's thin crust, and the dough is good.
I think the toppings are a bit sparse, and the prices are average.
22/10/2025: Great experience at Pizzeria Galot! We went here for Oktoberfest: the atmosphere was cheerful and refined, with themed costumes that made the evening even more fun. There was live music (though we left early and missed it), the staff was really friendly and helpful, the service was fast, and the prices were fair. A perfect place for a casual and enjoyable evening. Highly recommended!

19/10/2025: We went for coffee with friends, and after seeing the desserts, we decided to try some...we had three cream hollandaises (there were also white chocolate and gianduja ones) and a cream tart. Everything was very fresh and fragrant. The service was quick and friendly.
17/09/2025: The atmosphere is very relaxing and chic, perfect for a breakfast with friends or alone. The coffee is very light and creamy, and for a leavened breakfast, I ordered a cream-filled brioche. The dough was buttery just right, but the only flaw, if you can call it that, was the excessive amount of cream that overwhelmed the brioche.
All in all, for €2.70, it's absolutely worth it.

31/10/2025: The pastries were good, as were the cookies. The hot chocolate wasn't very good, and the cream ran out. It was Halloween night. It's understandable, but we could do better.
