The pleasant surprise of a sumptuous homemade strawberry sorbet, as well as bread, breadsticks, and focaccia.
The team, led by the owner, is excellent.
It's worth the culinary journey.

17/02/2026: We found this lovely restaurant in the hills near Arona. A warm welcome in an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The dishes we tried were truly delicious, with a focus on local products. The wine list was also interesting.
We felt truly at home, both from the welcome, the service, and the food. The bill was reasonable.
We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

The owner and his wife are kind and accommodating, even with food intolerances.
I'm celiac and had no trouble eating. I had a wide selection of appetizers and main courses, and for dessert, a delicious gelato sundae was improvised for me, much to my delight.
I recommend it!
13/03/2026: I had the stew with polenta, which was a delight, and my son had the cacio e pepe pasta. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a photo because the smell overpowered us, so we immediately rushed to eat.

The products used are very good, perfectly prepared.
Everything is to my liking, both the ambiance and the background music used to accompany the meal.
We return often, never disappointed.
27/04/2026: Courteous, attentive, and helpful staff. The place is impressive and very characteristic, especially the inside area. I went for lunch and ordered the asparagus parmigiana. It was good, but since it was supposed to be like a parmigiana, I expected tomato to be added in addition to the cheese. The first course was the frog rice. The rice was ok at Dante, but there was a small adjustment: I would have liked it to have been cooked for 1 minute longer, it was a little more than al dente. I found a piece of frog with some bones still in it. Overall, however, I ate well. The desserts were the best I've ever eaten, compliments to the pastry chef. EXCEPTIONAL! 👏

The staff were incredibly friendly, and so was the owner. I'll definitely add it to my must-visit list when I return to Turin. 🩷
25/04/2026: I love the fillet steak, and for me, El Barrio is the best in Turin! Everything else is top-notch, too! Excellent value for money.

Simply top-notch in every way: delicious and carefully prepared dishes, friendly and helpful staff, and fair prices despite the exceptional quality.
09/04/2026: Food was not good at all. The polpo was rubbery and hard to chew.. The crispy prawns soggy. The lobster pasta overcooked. The beef cheeks were an absolute cheek - cold and absolutely tasteless !! We left more than half on the plates and told her it was cold - she was convinced it was delicious and just too much ( the waitress )
Will not revisit ! Not worth the drive - just for the food !! Totally disappointed- much better places in Domodossola

24/04/2026: Outdoor lunch. Very nice and quiet terrace. Excellent service. Very tasty food; we ordered cacio e ova balls, caponata, and a chickpea flour frittata. Everything was excellent! A superb tiramisu to finish. We'll definitely be back.

14/04/2026: Good, but not impressive! Beautiful location. I didn't choose the menu, but I found the appetizers, in particular, to be quite bland. The waitress was kind and respectful, but some of the waiters, on the other hand, were a little less attentive. They didn't serve in the correct order, made some sudden movements, and didn't apologize when they nearly bumped into and stained my neighbor's table. I'll return, taking my time and with fewer people!
