19/10/2025: Stopped in here on a whim. Spaghetti carbonara and Peroni beer. The food was delicious. For a quick break or a quick snack. Highly recommended.👍👍👍

12/10/2025: A great, non-touristy place, the food is incredibly delicious, even though the establishment itself might not initially attract attention. I especially recommend the pizza diavola, lasagna, and house wine. I give this place a 10 out of 10.

07/10/2025: First of all, this place was by far the best among all the dinner spots we tried in Rome. The octopus salad with celery stalks would have been even better if the skin hadn’t been peeled off — but either way, it was an absolutely delicious starter. The oysters were plump and delicious. Their pasta was perfectly cooked and beautifully balanced with the sauces. They serve lobster pasta at an affordable price, and it was perfectly prepared as well. The vongole pasta was also wonderfully made. Although their portions are quite generous, one course is never enough to satisfy your appetite for these elegant dishes. To finish, the creamy tiramisu and cannoli made the perfect final touch. And as a lovely surprise at the end of the night, the homemade limoncello and cherry–almond liqueur bid you farewell — even though you never want to leave this wonderful experience. The owners are very kind and humble people. After my girlfriend finished all the limoncello, they even gifted us two more in charming, authentic flask-shaped glasses. The music was fantastic too — full of 90’s vibes that made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. It was a wonderful way to bid farewell with our last dinner in Rome. Thank you!

07/10/2025: Stefano and Vincenzo are the "theme" of this wonderful place in the heart of Monti. Their food is as high-quality as their wealth of dedicated experience. The hospitality is superb, like being at home. Roman-style atmosphere with huge windows overlooking the streets of Monti. I recommend it if you're looking for quality, cleanliness, hospitality, and tranquility with background music where you can chat without the chaos and noise. I give it a 6 ⭐, they're excellent. 21/09/2025: Welcomed with spontaneous kindness by Alberto, the owner, and served with equal courtesy, we enjoyed an excellent platter, an eggplant parmigiana, and delicious meatballs, accompanied by excellent and relaxing background music. The "Iovem" spritz and the craft beers were very popular. Only later did we realize that Alberto's true passion is wine (yes, I know, the name of the place was a good clue), so we'll be happy to return to follow his advice. See you soon!

17/11/2025: We had a wonderful experience at La Vecchia Locanda today. For starters, I ordered the octopus with potatoes, and for the mains we had the ossobuco and a fillet mignon with wild mushroom sauce. The food was absolutely delicious — everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. What made our visit truly special, however, was the service. Our waiter was warm, friendly and genuinely attentive. He answered all our questions about the menu, shared a few laughs with us, and struck the perfect balance between being present when needed and never intrusive. He always made sure we had everything we needed and was right there whenever we wanted to ask for something or place another order. Today is my wife’s birthday, and she was surprised with a little celebratory “birthday cake” with a candle. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture, and it meant a lot to us. We had a fantastic evening and left with the best impressions. Highly recommended — a truly charming restaurant with excellent food and outstanding service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

08/10/2025: A delightful little restaurant, just steps from Tiburtina station. There's also a small outdoor terrace overlooking the street. Tastefully and delicately decorated, the staff is young, friendly, and very welcoming. They immediately bring out fresh bread with extra virgin olive oil as a welcome. We had fried calamari and purple potato chips, spaghetti with clams, linguine with lobster, and an octopus salad. Everything was amazing. The flavors were perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. The highlight, for me, was the dessert. They amazed us with homemade cantucci, as if they were freshly baked, accompanied by a glass of Malvasia and an Amaro. The dessert by the glass was truly moving. A vanilla semifreddo, accompanied by basil granita. An unusual and winning combination. A triumph of taste and refinement. The wine list is very extensive; the guys who run the place are sommeliers. Seeing so much enthusiasm among young people in the kitchen, a job that's certainly not easy these days, is heartwarming. Prices are in line with the high quality of the ingredients offered. Recommended for romantic and intimate dinners.

06/10/2025: The wine list is the restaurant's real plus. It's nice inside, but the fishy smell is too strong. The mixed raw fish and cod meatballs are good. The spaghetti with clams is too salty and thick.

14/12/2025: We stayed here after discovering the place with a Smartbox gift card, which allowed us to book immediately (unlike other places that refuse after several days of waiting despite available dates). We were immediately greeted warmly by the owner and the rest of the staff. The room was spotless and fully equipped. We also had dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor, which was very good and especially convenient for those with small children.

13/12/2025: We booked this gem through Smartbox, including dinner, accommodation, and breakfast. Usually, when you book through Smartbox, there's always a bit of fear of feeling like you're missing out, but here, as soon as we stepped inside the inn, we understood the love and passion behind it. The room was nice and very clean. Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff, and a delightful location. I think we'll definitely return without taking advantage of any offers or Smartbox. Well done!

10/12/2025: Loved it. Craft beer spot in a nice and lively neighborhood that has a lot to offer. Amazingly elaborated simple snacks like homemade thin chips and delicious burger. Friendly staff. Will definitely come back.

01/12/2025: We tried the tasting appetizer platter. It was good, but we would have liked to try more varied dishes; many of the options were typical appetizers like mussels or seafood salad. It was a sufficient amount to eat without needing to order more courses.

16/11/2025: Huge selection of beers and sandwiches. Service was fairly quick and accurate. We had two appetizers shared between four of us, plus some focaccias they offered with our first beer (delicious). Plus the sandwiches and a burger, which I'll definitely try next time. Double thumbs up.

08/11/2025: This ice cream shop, in my opinion, is the best in the area. The prices are average, but the quality of the ice cream really makes the difference: varied, creamy, and always delicious. In my opinion, it's the only ice cream shop in the area worth considering.
