04/04/2024: The vibes of this restaurant are great and the staff are so nice and friendly and helpful. The food on the other hand was not good at all. I almost feel bad for saying this because the staff was so nice, but I am baffled there are so many recommendations/reviews for this place. I mean no harm or offense and maybe I got the wrong meal or went on a bad day but the food is just not good. Avoid the salads at all cost - I just threw mine away it was so bad. The pasta flavor was decent but very overcooked. The lasagna was just okay. I can't say I would recommend this place to anyone. Edit - changing to a 1 star - had to throw the majority of the food away it was so bad

06/04/2024: This place has very good food. What really made the two times we were here was our waitress Georgiana. She was so accommodating, nice, humorous, professional and is why we came back again. Saltimbocca was my favorite secondi.

02/04/2024: Cannot recommend this place enough! We first ate here shortly after arriving from 24 hours of flying and it was quick, easy, cheap and quality food - exactly what we needed. Then we went back a couple of nights later and it was just as good, if not better. Good service and great value for money!

01/04/2024: Food, service and prices are great! The staff are very attentive: we sat outside as it was full inside and there were a lot of queues. We had a heating column nearby, the employees often came by and made it warmer or moved it as desired. Also, one person in our group had a bit of a cold and asked for tea, which is not recorded on the menu. They boiled us a small teapot with a cup and a tea bag of our choice without any problems. In terms of food, the spaghetti carbonara is highly recommended! Always happy to come here!

06/04/2024: Welcoming, clean, great attention to even the smallest details. Professional, kind and accommodating staff and owner. Varied culinary offer, generous portions and above all of great quality. Dinner at a training event with a friend who was celebrating her birthday. Big surprise when we were offered a cake with glasses of wine for the toast. The lighting setup and the hanging cellar then aesthetically confirmed the restaurant and created a calm and refined atmosphere. Highly recommended

06/04/2024: The location in a cozy square and the cozy ambiance offered much promise. Sadly, the cooking didn’t live up to the expectations. Nothing was bad, it just wasn’t inspiring. For the prices charged - starters and mains are €15-25 each, the bill can easily rack up to €40 per head, even without wine. I was also disappointed to see the waiter point to the card machine and tell me that I could add a tip. He made sure I was informed that the coperto of €3 per head “belongs to the owner”. I am not averse to leaving tips but a restaurant that charges high prices and then adds a more than average coperto better pay its staff without them having to guilt trip patrons into leaving tips. Certainly far better value dining options in the neighbourhood.

07/04/2024: I like it a lot, relatively hidden behind Piazza Istria, it is paradoxically perhaps the best place in the area despite having several opponents. I go there now at least a couple of times a week, undoubtedly the place where I have been treated best in my life, by all the staff. It stands out though, and I don't usually launch into certain fiddles, Matteo. An exquisite person who is not only kind, he is attentive, pleasant and professional. Every time my friends and I have stayed here, we have been made to feel welcome.

01/04/2024: Siamo andati per il pranzo di Pasqua.Antipasti buoni,tranne il broccolo che era crudo.Lasagna bianca con funghi e salsiccia non fatta di pasta ma di pane e non era specificato da nessuna parte e questo non si fa xche'se qualcuno fosse stato allergico al lievito lo avrebbe dovuto sapere,infatti era molto impastosa e ci è rimasta pesante. Riso con pere guanciale e scamorza buono di sapore ma ahime' mooolto al dente.Buoni i dadolini di vitella,anche se in porzione piccola.Abbacchio molto asciutto ed insapore.il dolce era una pallina di cioccolato ripiena di panna ,difficile da mangiare xche' il cioccolato non si rompeva quindi mangiato con le mani....per 60€,compresa acqua,credo che non siamo rimasti affatto soddisfatti

01/04/2024: Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo il giorno di Pasquetta, che dire era tutto ottimo. Personale gentile e attento al cliente . Quando capiteremo di nuovo in questa zona ci ritorneremo.

06/04/2024: All in all a very solid evening with an excellent starter. Unfortunately I didn't like my main course very much, I ordered a Saltimbocca. The meat had been drowned in the sauce and so everything was very soft. The pasta TONNARELLO with meatballs was mega! All in all, a very solid evening with an excellent starter. 22/03/2024: A wonderful, quiet cafe near piazza Navona. Friendly and helpful staff. A daily stop during our stay in Rome. I definitely recommend it.

25/02/2024: This place is a great hidden gem for lunch, we visited and had two stuffed pizzas and drinks for under €20's. Staff were nice and it felt like a true bit of Italy.

06/04/2024: Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. Caprese was fresh - buffalo mozzarella was excellent! Cacio e Pepe was flavorful and rich. Wonderful first meal in Rome!
